Happy birthday! I enjoyed the video. But I will admit I was a bit disappointed by one thing, I was 100% sure you are going to mention the most obvious inconsistenty in season 6 , the sun great friend - this freaking MOON!, like seriously they said it was moonless night in ep 5 and yet the moon keep changing his sizes multiple times in the season, how it sometime missing, something half or full moon when 2 episodes ago or later it doesn't appear. It a PLOT HOLE😯😯😯
@dekelharel3792 trueeeee! There are still many more, but you're absolutely correct, and for an episode literally named after it, you'd expect more tbh🙄
@@TheGlowingHay yes I most of the time don't notice things like that, especially plot holes. But in rewatch in the season I couldn't notice the moon inconsistenty, what weird to mr is that they had a scenes that are specifically show us only the moon, like how you missed it? But it was a bit fun to find those errors.
One of the plot holes that we need to cover is why did it take 300 years for the Orphan Queen’s descendants to learn the history of Aavarovs for her, connect themselves to the 6 Primal Sources and than go on this quest to get his prison, release him, and fight him prepared?
This is genuinely something I've thought about a LOT. But tbf, Viren only was able to embark on that journey bc they retrieved the mirror from the Storm Spire. However, we see that Kpp'ar had many notes on Aaravos, and the Key of Aaravos existed, so it's still kinda weird it took this long for people to realise he exists
Good afternoon I found out that answer from last week. In a discussion with my mother about this subject and from Season 5 episode of the Ocean Archmage, it’s a sign of failed family generation because of almost not getting key information about how the Orphan Queen defeated Aavarovs. If she agreed with the Archdragons to keep quiet about the events, then this is the seed of her family’s problems in the current tv show. But thankfully that is getting fixed with King Ezran and his half-brother, Prince Callum’s quest to defeat Aavarovs. Hopefully these two will write in their journals about these events which their ancestors almost failed to do.
🎶Have a mystical, magical birthday Have a wonderful, whimsical birthday Have a fun and fantastical birthdayyyy, With wishes and kisses and laughing and love🎶
Viren also used Aspiro Frigis on Avizandum. So we saw it once before. The sun doesn't set in the same position every night. Finigrain wanted bait because he was fully grown, would catch bigger fish & Finigrain didn't want to wait for the baitlings to grow. Maybe with 4 legs the wolf pup was able to catch rats & earn her keep.
Yes, buuut within a few nights it wouldn't really change by that much. Also, yes we've seen him use Aspiro Frigis, that's true. That wasn't an opportunity for Callum to have seen it, but you're right, since I said it was the only scene where it happens😄
Yea me too, but every now and then I think about it a little further.. the idea they dont have a soul is super interesting tho. Since Soulfang serpents really don't kill, but just take the soul, so that would be such a cool concept. I'm gonna keep this in mind, and see if it ever fits with a bigger theory!
I think Finnagrin (excuse my spelling) wanted to trade the baby baitlings because maybe the monster wouldn’t be attracted to the babies because they are so small so he wanted Bait to speed up the process. That’s always what I thought. 1:49 LMAO Happy Birthday! 🎂 ✨ I hope you got some pineapple right side up cake! 🍰 I don’t know if it’s a plot whole but I don’t understand why Ezran and Zym don’t know about Zubeia’s corruption. Soren knows because he saw the wound festering but Callum and Rayla were told that a single scratch was enough to corrupt. (Maybe they don’t know that Zubeia was bitten but that also makes no sense to me because why would she randomly yell and roar as they’re leaving the library?) Also, I don’t know why Corvus doesn’t know either since he was with Amaya and ended up staying in the sunfire camp for some time so… wouldn’t he eventually find out that the bite Zubeia got was fatal? So yeah, basically I just don’t understand why Callum and Rayla did not seem to pass that information on to the rest of the Dragang.
Thank you! But no... I'm not a fan of pineapple like that😅 And you're very right about that. They definitely should have known, and it does make it come across quite weird in S5, how they're confused where she is, and that she's struggling alone. But yes, they definitely would realise that Zubeia didn't just randomly roar like that, and worst case, Ezran should be able to talk to her, no?
Nice video this was great! also here is a random fact that no one asked for: when sir sparkle puff diés (rip) the blood looks like deep magic symbol, when viren gets reviven i think it was deep magic that was used, and maybe when aaravos escaped his prison Claudia used deep magic?
Thank you! I never noticed! What did you use for a reference for the Dark Magic Symbol? I know ow there was one on Twitter or so, just wondering if that was your reference as well. Great catch though, because that could actually be used for some theories!
@@TheGlowingHay here is something to support my theory, Deep magic is an ancient magic that can be used to bring people back from the dead, (thats what the wiki says) So that could mean that Claudia used deep magic to revive Viren.
Oo happy birthday! For the first point, admittedly I haven’t watched the episode in a while, but could it not be a conscious choice…? iirc we only see Aspero Frigis working at relatively close range (could be wrong), so at least in the frame you’re showing it would make sense for it to not be able to reach all the enemies, making a long-range spell like Fulminus the better choice. Edit: I also saw someone say that Historia Viventis doesn’t produce sound, and you also need the verbal component to cast a spell - so even if he knew the rune, Callum couldn’t use it.
Ehhh I feel like it's still an oversight, but you're right that if it doesn't produce sound, it would make it harder to know how to do it. I'm not fully convinced that's the case, but I see how you can argue for that. It being short range was actually not something I thought about! Interesting idea!
Thank you so much!!! You see, I'd take that, but it doesn't say anything about that in the wiki, which I feel like would be a nice thing to clarify, and since we don't know the strength of the teeth/bite of the serpents, it's really up in the air rn.
yes, amblers are immune to soul fangs. their hides are thicker. nyx says something about them when we first see the ambler in episode 4 i think. i don't remember the exact line but she does say it
I only remember her saying that because of the Ambler they'd "be above it all ...literally" and in the Wiki i couldn't find anything that describes this. I feel like it could easily make sense but I also feel like it would be quite an important trait of theirs
If you look at the Ambler, it's covered in fur right. Try biting something covered with fur three times thicker than your teeth or try biting through leather. It doesn't work.
yeaaa that's fair, but then again, they are Soulfang Serpents... we don't really know their teeth/biting strength. It's weird that this is not talked about at all in the wiki tho
Happy birthday! Just something to say, HOW DO YOU PAY SO MUCH ATTENTION! The details, all the evidence you gave. Dude. And saying Ellis gave them a warning cause she is part of something, I thought, "well that got dark fast". Though that gave chills, LITERAL chills. There are three things I did end up noticing, will these first two are just a rant but, first, why are the eyes like that. Two, I am pretty sure she never apologised (if you know how I am talking about), just a bit of a talk. Third, this is an inconsistency, I just needed to get those out of my head because like this one, they have been pick at me. The pajamas! Season 1-3, we never see pajamas, only what they were using that day. Through the Moon, some type of Katolis pajamas. Then season 4, Soren's pretty, pink pjs. I am not counting what they are wearing when they are on a mission, it's not pajamas (also, don't think they have space or overall don't prioritize pjs cause they are trying to save the world). Sorry this might be a bit long but just had to get it out their once finally asked the question. Thanks!
Haha thank you so much, and thank you for the kind words. And yes! Rayla never did fully apologise and it still bugs me. I don't quite understand what you mean with the eyes? And for the third, you're so right! They have never really changed outfit except from S3-4 obv. I mean they quickly make it a plot thing in Ep1 S3, but otherwise ...how do they wear the same thing the whole time!?😭 I'm very happy to hear all about your thoughts tho, I felt the same way before, so I'm happy if you feel comfortable sharing!
This might be the most unhinged thing I have seen in my comments so far😅 uhmmm that is an interesting idea though, since it would kinda tie in real science with TDP Arc 2 humor. Honestly, could be, but I feel like they'd have a LOT of children then
I don’t even know what the goal of Dragon Prince is. There’s too many branching plot lines. Unlike with ATLA, there was one clear goal from S1 to S3-defeat the Fire Lord. With Dragon Prince-what’s the one end goal at this point even?
Tbh I think this is unironically the biggest flaw. That after S3 (arguably before even) the protagonists are always simply reacting to what is happening. Their goal is always singularly defined by stopping whatever is currently happening. And obv they want to build up to Aaravos' big plan, but the problem arises when after 6 out of 7 Seasons, we still don't even KNOW what that is.
The goal is to fix whatever Sol Regem did by lying to the Cosmic Order about Leola sharing magic to humans thus creating the villain within her dad, Aavaros to create a millennium long conflict that the Orphan Queen and her descendants have to solve.
Good afternoon @@skyhart9926, Thank you for your thoughtful question! While *Avatar: The Last Airbender* had a single clear goal-defeat the Fire Lord and restore balance-*The Dragon Prince* takes a different approach with a broader, interconnected narrative. At its heart, the story is about the dragons as symbols of unity and forgiveness, as revealed in *The Art of The Dragon Prince*. The series explores how humans, elves, and dragons can overcome past betrayals and learn to work together to face the greater threat of Aaravos. The multiple subplots (Callum mastering magic, Rayla's journey, Ezran's leadership, Claudia's moral struggles, etc.) all weave into this central theme: rebuilding trust and unity in a fractured world. Instead of a single quest, the show unfolds as a tapestry where each character’s journey contributes to the larger goal of preserving peace and balance in Xadia. So, while it might seem less straightforward than ATLA, its strength lies in its depth and complexity, reflecting a world that is rich, diverse, and constantly evolving.
Happy birthday, Idk why I haven’t seen anyone mention this but, when Callum and rayla go to the starscraper there are 8 pillars at its peak. 7 of them have staffs, if you look closely at all the staffs they look like virens staff (the staff of ziard) with different color gems, all colours except purple. It seems as though aaravos stole the staff of ziard from the starscraper but why? and how does it channel dark magic? And what was its original purpose? And what do all those staffs do?
Thank you! And there's 2 sides to this, for one, the there is an actual inconsistency, where they accidentally have put in the 8th staff in 1 or two scenes. The other is that I think this will be explored in S7, but it is very likely that Dark Magic is a corrupted version of star magic. And both of them originally come from deep magic. Since the staff had the quasar diamond, it allowed the user to perform a mixture of dark and star magic, since the coins for example, reshape reality around the trapped person. That is very reminiscent of Star magic, and it never seemed to require any killing of a magical creature. ...hope that helps?
@@TheGlowingHay ooo that seems like something plausible, and think back to the episode Callum first used dark magic, in his dream he saw his counterpart holding the key of aaravos and in place of the star symbol it showed the symbol for dark magic. But that would mean humanity has some affiliation to the star primal without knowing it. I really hope someone makes a whole theory video (Wink wink) and that this becomes a proper plot line in Season 7 when dark is thoroughly explores
Hi The glowing hay I wanted to ask you why in season 6 they didn't use the subtitle as "secrets in the stars" because they had announced that the mystery of Aaravos would have a subtitle ""Secrets in the Stars" then why wasn't there? Any ideas? Or are they using it for season 7?
Oh I never actually knew that was a thing... it might be a translation thing? But that sounds pretty sick. I think you mean the title of the Seasons right. Well, they always went with the names of the primal sources, and since just "stars" is the source, that was the name. S7 is then Dark, but again, I'm not sure
👉👈sir, I Finnigrin wanted to trade baitlings for Bait... because a grown glowtoad is worth more and is a better helping in catching lavaithans.... which yeah I agree is flawed logic. But had Finnigrin used Hat, Jellybug and Sneezles and hurt them i would have fed him to the lavaithan myself.
@@TheGlowingHay Actually, if you pay attention to what he says, he's not offering the baitlings to Ezran. He's offering a ship for Bait. Ezran started to refuse, and he was basically saying, "I'm being super generous here. I don't really need your toad anyway."
@StellaCat-g2t yea no, you are actually completely correct, I'll make sure to put that in the pinned comment. I forgot that he shows the baitlings for ...no reason. Thank you for pointing that out though!

Oh don't you worry. I think we'll have plenty of opportunities to expand on this once we get more S7 news as well😁
Hey Nish
@The_Palette01 yesss this was something I've been trying to work on! I'd love to cover this!
@@TheGlowingHay Good luck, really look forward 2 it ✨
If you wanna talk bad moon continuity just go to Avatar lol its literally full moon 24/7
😄 yeaaa I was about to start looking at that in TDP as well, but decided to cut my losses. Always a full moon is crazy tho
@@TheGlowingHay I'll send you the photo on Twitter and I'll write you there ok! So I can explain myself better!
Wellllllll ...if Jellybug went missing, who'd really notice
the point of Finnegrin plot hole its because the old toads are more valuable than the young
Yea but... the young ones grow up. He just gave up on 3 eventually old ones for one older one ...meaning it's also gonna be alive less long anyway
HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🥳 🎉
