  • DIY replacement of most of the ML 350 cooling system parts like upper and lower radiator hoses, thermostat, block temperature sensor and secondary fluid circulation pump ( heater core)

    Several remarks:
    1. If you are changing lower hose why drain coolant from drain plug (removing front bumper for that, extra job.) and that drain plug may leak in future.
    2.. Removing the belt is 10 second job, you gain extra space and easier to manipulate in that tight area.
    3. You did not clean thermostat installing place from old coolant residue, it may leak in time.
    4. Instead of w163 auxillary pump you could install the same brushless pump from w210, w211 wirh connector. It is forever.
    5. All w163 thermostats are 87 degree. (m112 engine working temp. is 87-102 degree) and better to intall OEM Wahler thermostat, the price is around 30 bucks.
