    Engine Coolant Thermostat Replacement.
    Tools Required: Flat screwdriver, 1/4 inch Drive ratchet, Extension bar, Torx T-30, New thermostat, Antifreeze, Gas siphon pump, Drain Pan Genuine Mercedes thermostat, part number I used was: A 276 200 03 15 Antifreeze agent the Mb 325.6 (A 000-989-68-07-09-0109)
    Step-by-Step Guide Wait for the engine to cool down Remove the cap from the coolant expansion tank Drain portion of coolant. Loosen the top hose clip, then ease off the hose. Remove the coolant sensor Remove the bolts that hold the thermostat housing in place Remove the thermostat. Put the new thermostat in the engine flange and bolt it into place. Avoid over-tightening the bolts Mix concentrated coolant with distilled water for a 50/ 50 mix. Alaska will aim for between a 60:40 Pour coolant into the reservoir up to the fill line. Use the workshop manual procedure to properly bleed all air from the cooling system. Hope you have found this helpful!

    I didn’t see any gasket on that part of the thermostat. Does it come with one or you simply just put it on and that’s it ?

      Engine Coolant Thermostat O-Ring was on the thermostat housing.

    I need help how to bleed the air out of the system

      Well the way it was done in this video (although it isn’t shown) was a vacuum fill. If you were doing this with out vacuum fill what I would recommend is leaving the coolant cap off. Then fill reservoir and start the car and set the heat all the way up. While the car is idling keep an eye on the reservoir level as it may go down and you will just keep adding coolant after about ten minutes check the heat coming from the vents if it’s hot there is no air. If it’s still cold repeat the steps again and it should start to warm up if not you may have another issue. While the car is idling I also at times dip my finger in to the coolant to see if it is getting warm but doing all that should help you get the air out the system. It may take longer but it still does get the job done. Hope this helps!
