Oh this broke my heart! Three years ago I had to have my 11 year old cat put to sleep and it was so hard. I was 51 but I still don’t think I could have handled it without my dad there to support me. I was holding Max when they injected him and I couldn’t believe how fast he was gone. Then my dad built him a little coffin and buried him on his farm where he’s had to bury farm dogs before.
So sad…my heart goes out to Ann. He was such a good cat even with everything going on.
Cancer is horrible. It’s so tragic with animals especially because they really don’t show that something is wrong. We went through it with my Lab. She had a tumor the size of an orange on her lung. They removed her lung and she was fine. One day, 3yrs later, she stopped eating and when we took her to the Vet her entire chest was filled with cancer. We were going to have her put to sleep at home but she passed 4hrs before the vet came. Sorry to ramble but because of this the next dog I get will have regular blood work. RIP Tigger🌈❤️

So sorry about your loss! I lost one of my cats, due to cancer. Another one died from kidney failure. Another cat I had as a child and her kittens were stricken with parvo, during the parvo epidemic, which claimed entire litters of cats with their kittens and dogs with their puppies.
One day, when I was seven years old, my Mom told me to check on our cat and her kittens. I found all of them, except one we named Brat, because of his bratty behavior. I found all of them, except Brat. I did find some of him. I called my Mom in and she said that Brat had died and Mama cat and kittens tried to clean up the mess by eating him. She explained to me that Mama cat and kittens had to go to the local animal shelter, because they were all sick.😢
So sad 😢...so sorry...but you have to do what you must in the end...so heartbreaking 💔 😢!
What a shame, Tigger was a beautiful cat, and such a good boy. With all the unpleasant examinations he was just lying there, relaxed and looking at the humans with trust. Sleep well, little fellow.
You guys need an alternate clip to end sad videos. "If you loved this video..." is a singularly inappropriate outro for a video like this.
That being said, I like this channel and all the dedicated vets and nurses it features. I think I have watched every single of you videos, many of them more than once or twice.
Its an outtro put on all of the videos so I didn’t see anything wrong with that. This video made me cry so much though. 😭💔

I'm in tears. Whenever I watch videos with sad endings I always go to my cat and give him extra hugs and kisses (I hug and kiss him throughout the day, always!) and always tell him 'I love you'. ❤❤❤❤

This made me cry so much. I am so sorry for your loss, Anne. You did the right thing and spared him from a horrible painful drawn out death. Cancer is a cruel disease. I have lost pets and human family members to it and now I have cancer as well. I have throat cancer and most of it has been removed from my neck and I am currently having radiation treatment, but today or tomorrow I will find out what is going on with my liver… there are over 10+ tumours in there that are unrelated to the cancer I know I have and I am scared. 😭 This video really shook me. RIP TIGGER. 💔😢

Ah jeez, Tigger was a constant companion and having to say goodbye is terrible. We have a 15 year old, Sherman, he is still quite lively, he still plays more than our 8 year old tortie Willow. It's very heartbreaking when that time comes. 💕😾😿🐾

I never like these types of videos as well. Im a cat owner too and feel the pain too. These videos are very educational to create health awareness but the loss of losing your pet is unbearable
I have lost a few pets to cancer and I can agree that the pain is unbearable. Losing my horse to cancer was worse than being diagnosed with cancer myself a few months later. It has now been a year since I lost her (in my profile pic) and the pain is unbearable. I miss her so much. 💔😭 This video made me cry so much. RIP Tigger and all of the loved pets that we have lost.

I know how devastating cancer is. I have lost my dog Henry to cancer. I lost my great grandmother Mary to Cancer. I also have lost 2 roblox players I loved to cancer. This video reminds of when I had to euthanize Jamie from Cancer last September in 2022 and it took me 6 months just to feel right again.
Right now I am dealing with a number of roblox players having cancer and treatments. Kona ricky and Russell and Bella as well although she off treatment right now and Chole my new player I just adopted. My grandfather also has cancer.

My dog had cancer, ended up being put to sleep. I came home to say goodbye to her. She is buried in my parent’s yard. I had cat had Feline Leukemia. My mom did to. Unknown to myself, my fur baby was not given the shot. Towards end of her life, she was taken to a vet was a specialist. After Sylvester was put to sleep. Vet sent us prom, Rainbow 🌈 bridge.

Why can't he just go naturally? Why end his life that way? I do not agree.
You'd rather him suffer in pain until he finally passes?
Rather put him down than have him slowly bleed to death and be in pain
I understand the sentiment, but there aren't really any options. You could pump him full of pain killers, but that would leave him in a stupor, not really living. Or you could let him suffer excrutiating pain, dying slowly. Sometimes you have to make this kind of decision, it is the hardest part of pet guardianship. At least now, Tigger is on the Cat Planet, playing in the sunshine all day long, and eating yummy food whenever he wants it, followed by a good nap.
Because urinary tract infections are very painful and this would only lead to that while waiting for him to go naturally. Pain is never the answer
This video is bad... at 5:12 into it she still hasn't palpated the cats bladder to check for the obvious blockage. And if he did have a full bladder do a cystocentisis. Looks like a way to run up the clients bill if you ask me.....
