This is the first camera I’ve actually invested time and money in and I have no regerts about it. Has tons of features, gives amazing photos, and it’s perfect for traveling. So glad God gifted me the opportunity to use and operate it. Now… I need to find more things to shoot lol
I have owned the a6400, a6600, and have had the a6700 for over a year now. Huge jump in optical performance! I have most of the Sigma glass made for Sony apsc. I just wish Sigma would make a telephoto to complete my lens collection! I know there are other options for telephoto but it seems like the best has yet to come. Great video man! Your photos and videos with this camera show just how great this camera is! Keep up the good work! Looking forward to seeing more of your travel content with the a6700! Cheers!
It's great to see this camera getting some more recognition. I've had mine for a year and I'm a huge fan. For the joystick, while using the EVF you can actually use the touchscreen as a joystick. It's not as good as a real one but I've gotten pretty comfortable with it. I feel like this camera gets overlooked due to some of the early controversy with overheating and because Sony has so many compelling full frame options, and it's a shame because I think it should be a top rec for anyone looking for APSC.
I live in Jamaica and i came across your videos while researching for the best camera to start my photography career. Your reviews were a big help when it came to narrowing down my decision and this is the camera I decided to invest in 5 months ago. Let me say THANK YOU. I have ABSOLUTELY NO REGRETS! This camera delivers on everything you've stated and even more. I may come across a little ignorant as I have very little experience with any other camera or brand, but what I can say is that this camera has surpassed my expectations with all my projects thus far. Its a BEAST. Awesome review Curtis!
for those who complain of single SD card not being safe, they can always swap the SD every 1 or 2 years max, and buy only sony tough cards. it's a waste for most people but that should work for some concerned photographers that shoot tens of thousands of photos a year. consider this, the bigger the capacity the more times the card can be rewritten. you can probably rewrite safely a tough card hundreds of times, meaning you can take hundreds of thousands of photos with it, perhaps even millions if you have a large capacity model.
Hey Curtis, I’ve currently got an A7IV and although I love the images and video it produces, the form factor is making me want to take it out less than I’d like. About 90% of the things I shoot are landscapes, street, portraits, travel. Some videography paid work for cafes and gyms, and also vlogging my daily life. I’m also looking at doing some night time event photography (for fun that is). I’m aware that a full frame camera is the way to go for that, but I wondering if the a6700 with a 1.2 viltrox lens will be sufficient for that? Love the videos and any guidance will be greatly appreciated!
Hello from Lisbon! Currently I’m using Sony a6400 and it feels great, however due to a strong tremor - I need to switch to something with IBIS onboard, which means - 6700 :) I’m just curious if it makes sense to get the 6700 now, or it is better to wait for an updated model? Or 6700 is not so old and we can barely hope for some updates in the foreseen future? Wdyt? :)
I just switched to Sony with the a6700 like last week haha. What an incredible camera indeed and the size is just perfect. I'm pairing it with a Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 and Viltrox 27mm f1.2. My use case is for personal family/travel camera and part time B Cam for church production.
Hey man! So if you’re shooting with the A6700 that’s no problem as that camera has IBIS. If not the Tamron 17-70 is a good choice. Also depending on what you are shooting you might be able to invest in a gimbal. Hope that helps! 🙌
Fantastic camera. I love mine. The only down side is the built in intervalometer. Autofocus disables when it is switched on. Apparently, external intervalometer s are NOT compatible with the a6700. I would absolutely be delighted if you could prove me wrong on that. I'd gladly welcome a solution. Love your videos btw.

I just got it. Upgraded from A6400 and i love it.

Belting video bro 👊🏻 I’m in the market, 3564th video I’ve watched on the 6700 so far 😂
Thanks bro! 👊 is that 3564th video including this one or are we at 3565th? 🤣 I recon you should buy one when you reach your 6700th? 😂
@ 😂 including this one ☝🏻 great to see a UK UA-camr doing some quality vids - Yorkshire based
Hey Curtis! Can you recommend us some lenses for video? All the sigma ones have no stabilization so video comes out pretty shaky! Thanks man!

I am a big fan of my Fuji XE-3 and I think this form factor will be a great replacement and nice migration to Sony.
Good for DJ videography?? With sigma 16mm 1.4.
was rolling shutter an issue at least 1 time in 1 year usage?
See you in 🇻🇳
That sounds oddly intimidating rather then welcoming 🤣
🔥
LOOK AT ME, ROB ME 😂
i wanted one but got a a7iii due to price.

Had one and had to sell it....huge mistake
