    • @dondon-kw5zx
      @dondon-kw5zx 7 місяців тому +63

      @@dontknow3949 1st, no, you are not. You can not film on a privately owned property if you do not have permission from the owner, and that's just one of the many things you can't film. The 1st amendment has no bearing on it. 2nd, he does have a lawsuit here. you can file on anything you want, but he has a good case because the guy is defaming the company and the worker. He could obtain a settlement if he can prove the linkage of damages he sustained in a court of law. I work in law enforcement, and if you actually understood the legal system its a really easy open-and-shut case. I saw this video a few days ago, and as soon as I saw the owner's reaction, I was wondering why tf that guy would post that. I don't blame the owner for reacting the way he did at all and people leaving bad reviews is ridiculous. He definitely didn't deserve that. The guy behind the camera could've just posted him handing out the hotdogs and shouting out the business. He didn't ask the owner if he wanted to be in a video or call ahead of time or anything. The entire situation was avoidable, and he still could've fed the homeless. People do fucked up things for views and the way this guy poaches on the homeless and made this owner seem like an asshole was completely uncalled for. Thank you, Scumbag Dad! I love your content and I'm glad that you are so honest and don't mind calling out people like this.

"Oh let me make this hard working business owner look like a shitty guy because he can't make a bunch of hot dogs for me at the drop of a pin!" like bro, not EVERYONE can drop everything so you can make your shitty TikTok videos to scam people into giving you money.

    We take it for granted that handing out food to the homeless is always charitable, but there are many instances where homeless people won't accept food, and this is misconstrued as homeless people being "crazy." Homeless people, like any other living thing, aren't always hungry all the time, and if you hand them food they can't eat right away, they don't have refrigerators or microwaves to reheat them for later. Plus homeless people generally have poor dental health, and many foods may not be suitable for them to eat. Also, if they have been homeless for any length of time, they probably have already developed a schedule for how and when to get food when they need it. Before handing out food to random homeless people, it would be better to ask them what they actually need and then buy it for them, and of course, don't film them!

    I understand people just want to be seen as a good guy, or want to be good people, but give things DIRECTLY to the needy doesnt help the needy or the businesses they stick around, donate to food banks, or just housing shelters

      This is kind of the point. He's just a normal guy, we have no right to hear his side, he doesn't owe us that. He just shouldn't have been put into this position by some awful ghoul who thinks filming people without permission is ok.

    Mega-Like 👍 I wish there were more thumbs I could give. Spot on.
    When one of these ridiculous pay-it-forward type of video appears and it begins with a candid conversation with a shop owner.... Then, I always mentally zoom out and picture and entire film crew behind the phone with lighting, boom-microphone and clapper board etc. as the shop owner pretends it's all spontaneous.

    I lived and worked with some homeless for several years. These kids are going to get stabbed and robbed over some "subs" and "follows" that (won't) mean actual jack squat in about 5 yrs or so.
    Also, there are no "good" or "bad" people. 😮 Oh I know! 😮 Yes ..we are all just people who have ALL done good things, and all done bad things. And we are all just doing the best we can at that particular moment.

    The worst part is, the restaurant appeared to have about 5 stars before (by my guesstimation) and now it’s down to 4.4. Lousy tiktokers. There were about 16 people who counteracted by giving it5 stars tho! I’m relatively close to it, I might give it a go!

    there's this thing called tortious interference with a business and i think there's a few people willing to bankroll a lawyer to look into this. might stop asshats pulling shit like this if all their money they earned with that dumb stunt (and then some) goes away as a consequence.

      He seems to be an okay person. People hate on him because doing good deeds makes people insecure about themselves. If he made brain rot content or made political content on the current trends he would make much more money and receive far less hate.

    I've been seeing his videos in my recommended section recently.
    I saw this video but I also saw a video where he ordered 100 pieces of chicken to hand them out to the homeless and he literally let the homeless stick their dirty hands into the chicken and even eat over the trays of chicken. Extremely unsanitary.
    He just seemed like he was trying to get rid of the food as fast as possible rather than actually trying to help anyone. If he actually cared about helping the homeless he'd have taken the time to properly hand out the chicken in a sanitary fashion.
    Dude's just so fake and it's obvious.
    It's a shame to see a channel like his get recommended when there are other channels who actually help the homeless or help people in general who get ignored by the algorithm.
    I hit the Do Not Recommend Channel option on that guy's videos so hopefully I won't see those disgusting videos again.
