Fun fact, the Trolley Problem is actually created by a lack of failsafes in the brake system, meaning a lack of management on the part of the trolley line company! Meaning your choice means nothing as it's not your fault people are going to die. To expound, the trolley should have brakes. If the brakes are not pulled, or there is nobody to pull them, it's the conductor's fault. If the brakes are broken, that means it's the fault of whoever let the brakes fail a safety check. That's not even getting into why there are people on the track in the first place. This is a very abridged version of a Tumblr post I saw talking about it.
I like how someone in chat during PointCrow's villain arc said "YOU KILL STEALER" no amount of (or lack thereof) free will is gonna stop Eric's chat from being enjoyers of murder, especially murdering families of four
Passing thought, I wonder if chat would have voted any differently if you directly involved them by saying "For everything that dies in the trolley problem, a random person is banned from chat".
I wonder If they know what to do if there's 120 good people if I do nothing or 1 murderer if you pull but, you only get the FORTNITE battle pass if you kill the murderer.
"There are not loot boxes, there are no kill streaks, there is nothing you gain from killing people." 10 seconds later "A trolley is heading towards a mystery box . . ." 10 more seconds later "wait there's a kill count?"
I like how the first problem is like "Get involved and reduce the total kill count or let more people die?" and chat is like "MAXIMIZE KILL COUNT!" Then a bunch of the problems after that are like "Here's the same thing, but now there is an extra incentive to let more people die." And it changes nothing because chat already wanted more people to die anyway.
I love how Eric never realized how much of chat was just picking the right option because “it’s the right option! Wouldn’t want to pick the wrong one!”
Twitch chat doesn't have a high KD ratio. They're clearly perfectly willing to kill themselves in addition to all of their other victims. So really, they just have a very large number of both kills and deaths, so the ratio is rather unremarkable.

I think the collective thought (as shown by chat) of not wanting to get involved thus leaving you only morally culpable and not directly responsible is what most people feel but would never express directly, that or chat think it was a funny answer
The trolly question is one of the most bull moral quandaries I've ever seen created. Its a damned if you do, damned if you don't kind of scenario that just goes to show that morality is way more complicated than binary/black and white scenarios. If you don't involve yourself, you just let 5 people die and if you do involve yourself, you basically killed someone and put a value on life through sacrificing the one to save the many. I say F it. We are all trying our best on this mudball we call home and this moral quandary has no right answer. Any choice you make is the right choice if it follows your conscience at the time, moral implications be damned. The idea that moral philosophy can find a "right" answer in this scenario or any scenario like it is ludicrous. (The real right answer outside that bubble is to try and stop the trolley in some way, like pull the lever center so that the trolley actually collides with the fork in the tracks, jam the trolleys wheels, etc. Many real world scenarios aren't entirely binary in nature and we can come up with solutions beyond the most obvious or immediate.)
I'm just remembering the Ultimate Trolly Problem my friend Theo made. Basically it's the trooly problem but you can do anything you want and no matter what you do Theo comes up with a bullcrap way to say that everyone is dead UNLESS you try to kill evryone.

I believe anonymity only starts to make people to choose the worse option when they are bound to lose something if they best one, and since anonymity shields them from social loses then they choose the worst option, but the difference in reason its quite significant, not choosing the right answer for benefits is bad but its way better than not choosing it just because, with no apparent reason
Chat GPT's response to this question, for what it's worth: As an AI language model, I do not have personal beliefs or values, but I can present you with a range of ethical theories and considerations that have been proposed in response to this classic ethical dilemma. One ethical theory that could be applied in this scenario is utilitarianism, which emphasizes maximizing overall happiness or well-being. According to this theory, the ethical choice would be to divert the trolley to the track with one person, as this would result in the least amount of harm overall. However, other ethical theories, such as deontology or virtue ethics, may not support the utilitarian approach. For instance, a deontologist might argue that killing even one person is inherently wrong, regardless of the consequences. A virtue ethicist might focus on the character and intentions of the person making the decision, rather than the outcomes. Ultimately, the decision is a personal and moral one, and individuals may have different views on what the ethical course of action is. It is important to consider the implications and consequences of any decision and to act in accordance with one's own values and ethical principles.
With this trolly problem, the best option is usually to call the cops and not touch the lever. That way you will be able to dodge most of the lawsuits, and the crazy people who tied up others to the railway will not be associated with you. I need a real lawyer here to confirm my words, if possible.
