This video is sort of a reintroduction of my brother. He used to be on a lot of videos with me but not so much in recent years. This year he's come with me on two jobs and we recorded both. I'll put the other one up after I get some other videos out that have been waiting in the wings for a while. - Навчання та стиль
Hey listen, me and World Famous Mike Barry have a cut out coming up, I was wondering if you could send me Tommy's phone number, we'd love to have him help us after seeing how good he did on this one. I asked Mike if I should ask you to tag along as well but he said maybe on a different one, and he'd let you know when. Great seeing Tommy again, it's been a while, and a super nice cut out as well. God's peace brother.
Tommy said he'd come but he ain't signing no autographs.
Nice Mr Ed. 😂😂😂
Dont feel so bad........they didn't invite me to any of them. Red headed Step Yappy..... thats me.
Just use all that extra time to go catch a few swarms to show up The Rooster!
Step Yappy omg 😅😅😅
It just occurred to me that we've never invited them along on our jobs either. haha
Randy, good video! It was great that your brother helped you. I was already laughing about the burritos when you said “the truck has gas and you will too”! That’s exactly what happens to me when I eat one of those. If Mr Ed had invited you to his cutout you would have missed the quality time that you got to spend with Tommy! Don’t worry Mr Ed will call when he needs your expertise!
Haha! They are both good company and thankfully Mr. Ed does invite me along once in a while. Even if he didn't though, I'm not too tender. lol
The bees thought they had a good spot until the heat got to them. It was good to see Tommy, I haven't seen him in a couple years.
I was glad to get him back in a video. It's been a while.
What a beautiful back yard area! Smart move on the lightning/ladder. Yes, even under cover. That sure sounded like a sizable hive. Good work!
Wish I could have shown the whole thing. I was shoulder deep reaching over that beam pulling out comb.
I feel for y’all working in that heat and humidity. When I lived on Pensacola beach 30 years ago I would often take at least 3 showers a day. No way today, I live in the foothills of Va/Nc and it rarely gets like that here.
Now that is a name I hadn’t heard for years, Dizzy Dean!
Pretty much forgotten locally. I'm glad they put his name on something.
Went out to work in the garden this morning (8 am PST).. 75 degrees and 67% humidity. It was 83 by 10, humidity the same. I was drenched standing still.
What a pretty yard! It was good to see your brother!
Trying to reintroduce him before Hive Life.
Awww they should invite you! I love it when you all do a cut out together. So fun! the back and forth between you and Mr. Ed. is hilarious! I love to watch both of you and your buddies working anytime you post a wrangle for us.
That pollen is soooo good for you! Great for allergies if it's close to where you live. I used to pay big money for the pollen from the healthfood store back 40 years ago! It really did wonders for my seasonal allergies. And gave me energy too. I love everything about honey! Wish I could still eat it. Man I sure miss it.
Was that damage from Moss Point the other day?
"You ain't as prudy as your Mama said you was" 😂
We had some good laughs outta this one!
Ha! Elizabeth watched that and her only response was "where did you get a cigar?". LOL
Hey Randy, that was nice of your Brother to help get the Hive down, and Lunch with the Nephew !
A good Day had by all!
JO JO IN VT 💞
Hey Randy!! Man, I thought I had missed a call... but no, it was Greg Burns! Great cutout, good to see Tommy on the job. Y'all always have fun!!! Keep em coming!!!
Ha! I know. At least I was thinking about y'all.
Another great cutout thanks. I am going to do my first repeat cutout in a meter box for the city today. Worked my bees last night just at dark and got more stings than I have ever got through a cutout at least 40. Hard to pinpoint why they turned aggressive, I believe it is the original Queen.
Great to see you working with your brother.
Thanks again Dennis
Yappy and Randy, you guys are just too good. You make them look bad which is why they didn’t invite you. They’ll regret it when they can’t find the queen. 😂😂😂😂
Between Yappy and Mr. Ed, I don't think there a queen that could get away from those guys.
Love going on a drive with you to the job sites. So nice to see Tommy again ! Hope we see more if him in the future as well as his new store.
Nice place for those bees to settle, eh, except they got too hot. Ah well. Good job, and glad to see your brother again, I'd love to get down there and peruse his new shop--love shopping through gently used furniture and antiques. Don't worry about the pause for weather--there's not too many things that terrify me but lightening is one! Say hey to your Dad for us, okay?
A new subscriber, coming over from Mr Ed's channel. I saw you on one of their cut outs, & apparently I just can't get enough of watching these. These Bees were angry, mind you, we had rolling storms like that here in Yorkshire last night, so can't say I blame them. They must be sensitive to it. My worms sure are... thankfully they can't bite me about it though!
Welcome to the channel. We need more gardeners.
Laurel, MS Worked hives this morning early, we had some foundationless frames where the comb fell down like that. We were sweaty and sticky trying to get all that collapsed comb off the frames below.
Randy you have some super skills using that extended spatula. I bet when your cooking out you don’t get up to flip the burgers 🍔 with that extended spatula. 😮😮😮😮😊
I'm practicing for long reach seated hive inspections too.
Good video Randy and noticed the background music was awesome.
*I just want to hang out one day and do one of these cutouts with ya'll haha It never gets old watching you brother :)*
Hey, thank for getting your bro on!! Youall are funny together!!
I'm thankful he had time to break away and come do a video together.
Great job guys! No! I don’t blame you one bit! It’s not safe to be on any ladder during the storm. God Bless you all.
I sure don't like to take chances like that.
@@628DirtRooster Smart! Better safe than sorry. Not like those bees and the hive were going anywhere in a hurry. It was a great video!
U too neighbor. U might call me the BareBones Beekeeper. I may have the only story of The Burial of a Queen Bee Honeybee. Which I witnessed circa 2007 July right after the main honey flow in the woods Runnelstown ,MS. The description is mind-blowing to say the least. I would love to see it set in animation 😍.
Really good video! I like the jokes and cut up you have with your brother.
Good to see you in here Dawson.
Another good video. Good to see Tommy aka Comic book guy back in videos although I;m having Stuntman P withdrawal. Keep up the good work
Ole Stuntman is still around. He'll be in more.
I’ve got a name for two dudes like you guys; Rough and Rugged. I’d bee out of there in One or two stings. Great video, and nice work
Good stuff!
Man it looked hot. I was waiting for big cannonball or a slide down into the pool. That was a big job. Enjoyed the video. Take care Randy.
I sure thought about it.
@@628DirtRooster
Should’ve taken a slide into the pool after the storm.
That’s a lot of hard work. Y’all do removing those bees. I don’t see how you don’t get anaphylactic shock from time to time. That honeycomb in that house you’re doing looks very nice. Especially that wider one. Blessings.
That honey had a really good flavor.
I have such a fear of bees, I’d have a For Sale sign up and it would be sold fully furnished! Why am I here, you ask? Good question!!😆😆 I just love watching!!
You could get a pretty penny for that place even with bees in it.
It was great getting to see another video. Always looking forward to the next one. Did you ever sneak over to Mr. Ed's and spray paint your Dirt Rooster symbol on anything?
I didn't but I'll probably be back over there before summer is out.
Your brother don't look in the mirror much. Man you two are ALIKE!
Only 150 pound difference. :)
Love the music and visuals. Great job bud.
Thanks Tommy
hey you talk about the peppermints working well.why don't you use a diluted peppermint oil, the candy kind etc. even essential oils?
Still testing
Love your videos! Keep ‘em coming! I haven’t seen anything really recent, but you have plenty of content to keep me coming back! I’m a new beekeeper (3 year) and your videos inspired and taught me how to do my first cut out 2 weeks ago! I’d like to know if you keep all of the comb and rubber band it or not and how you decide whether you will or not. I cut out the comb, but didn’t rubber band it since I had spare drawn out equipment from a winter die out. I should have kept the brood and regret that I didn’t. I’m in SE NM so we are at the start of swarm season and getting calls for swarms and cut outs.
Have you ever tried putting bee go in an area that you have done a fresh removal?Maybe,if the smell endures,it'll keep scouts from thinking it would be a place to re-enter.
It only lasts about a half hour in this heat.
Your brother is adorable 😊
He got his hair cut last week so he’s even better. Haha
Cute ending to say the least Randy, complete with a return after dark. So was it really the weather the bees were picking up on, or were the bees picking up on your concerns of being on a tin ladder in a lightning shower? Nice neat closing just waiting on your finishing touches. Keep that camera rolling if you will! -Bob...
One sting I would be dead. I love watching you work, especially with your brother and dad. Amazing work. I can’t even eat honey. 😏
Saving these bees from a devastating loss just in time and how do they repay you? Stings. Lots of them.
Ungrateful bees
You’re too expensive for us Louisiana folks…..I got one for ya if you want to come this week in these 100F temps😅😅. “Now you know how the rest of us feel” 😂😂😂
Got one in an RV in Purvis tomorrow. Come on up. haha
It might be a dumb question but I’m wondering why you guys do not put insulation back in so that the bees can’t get back to that spot.
Depends on the situation. On this one I would just seal it up.
thanks for sharing, i really like hearing from professionals in fields i don't regularly see. 10/10 would help in a pickle!
We appreciate you watching.
Great video!! Randy, is the back of your truck well organised...
Only the top layer. ;)
Just like mine !! 😄
Wow that fresh honeycomb. you guys got it made
the hive is like radia in shape, its cool
Killer Bee Nation uses a spray undercarriage to spray everywhere the comb has attached so new swarms won’t build there. It somehow cancels out the smell of the hive remnants.
Just a thought
That would have a very limited application here.
Those hives sure looks pretty
Enjoyed the video. I'm an ASL interpreter and was wondering where Tommy learned it.
When we were really young my dad had an employee named Willie who's wife, Sheila, was deaf. Sheila came around the shop a lot and would visit with my mom and teach her a little sign language. When I was a young teenager, they hired a guy named Roy who was deaf and mute and so was his wife. Both these guys worked in dad's body shop for several years. Willie was there on and off for ten years or so. My parents learned a little out of necessity and some out of just being interested in learning to sign. Me and Tommy learned a little from Roy but mostly from the ASL book my mom had. We could do the alphabet and basic signs like hungry or toilet, things like that. Our church also had an interpreter so he may have learned some there. My wife has taken a few ASL classes at the local Junior college and she's taught me the little that I know.

Rooster was a tired puppy by the end of this one.....thank you for sharing Sir.......
This heat is beating me.
That’s a neet starburst hive pattern.
Thanks for another great cut out Randy.
Glad you enjoyed it
truth with the ladder lightning.
was working on a sissor lift inside
lightning hit the roof and arched shorting out the lift
Do bees go after the camera because of the light or the heat?
I think they go after the lens because it looks like an eye but the microphones also cause a reaction so I'm not sure exactly what about different cameras set them off. They'll attack stand-alone recording devices too.
The Whistle Stop Cafe in Wiggins has some of the best fried green tomatoes!!
I haven't eaten there in several years but they do have good food.
@@628DirtRooster The food is still good. I eat there every time I'm in Wiggins. I'm coming down in a couple of weeks to stay a few days. It will be my first place to eat.
Your brother looks a bit like Peter Stormare. Did anyone tell you guys that?
Haha No
Tommy. Ain't seen him in a minute. Did the bees propolise Tommy in place? Tell him that won't happen if he don't stand still.😂😂😂
He done got sidetracked. He'll be back on the bees this year though.
LOVE YA BRO, if I ever get down there I'm goin with ya, but I'll have an EPI Pen though.
Bring a fan too.

I wish we would get some rain, grass here is crispy.
Our grass is growing like weeds. LOL
Thats all we are growing - weeds!
okay just started watching i'm sure i will find out after the video but i have to say thats rooster's baby brother
Yep, 1.5 years younger.
Will you give me the name of the person who made your hive tool? I need to order one for my beekeeping mentor as a thank you for helping me with my first hive. Thx!

25:30 we need to see you cannonball into the pool! 😂
I wish I had.
Another great interesting video really enjoy your content great work 👍 watching from south wales uk
Awesome, thank you!
Mr. Ed may not invite you and Yappy but he often mentions you guys in his videos.
He does invite us. I was just kidding. :)
I wonder if they would let you put up a couple swarm traps.
They would but it's an hour and a half from my house.
Here in Hbrg. I live 3 miles from Lincoln road.
Howdy neighbor.
Randy, how many brothers do you have??
Only Tommy
Does the diesel smoke make the honey taste bad.
The diesel sticker is a joke. We use pine straw.
The man is cautious about a lightning strike while working 50,000 bees bound to kill him.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
If you sprayed something like bee be gone when you reseal the area, would it last for any period of time?
It only short term, 30 minutes or so
GillysGold is right. It's good very short term. I don't know of any long lasting repellent.
@@628DirtRooster
What about skunk spray to keep the bees away? It works on bears.
When I seen you hold the gatorade electrolyte up I was like that a boy!!! Lol!!! The gatorade electrolyte is my go to when I am going to work bees or in the garden. Anything outside in the heat.
I have two or three a day these days.
I can't believe you bought only one of those tiny burritos, lol!
should've watched a little longer. Two burritos--more like it
The eCONomy is sucked up.
My luck can’t be in the area when you get a cut out…. 😢😂
They are scarce this season.

Now, I expect an invitation, too .... 😮
I'll make sure they post a group invite on Facebook. ;)
What do you do with the bees? 🐝
We rehome them
I have a queen bee but no beach other than 20 and I need some more beige that go along with these bees
I hope you have some swarm traps out
I felt bad that Mike an Jeff don't invite you on there cutouts anymore, so I had to call them an told them you where about to cry... An they said ,, Ed., He just eats to much of the honeycomb😂😂😂😂😂😂
LOL That's true.
Cute ending
Just some old goofing around footage I never used.
sorry about that invitin thing. You have one real friend. look up and inside cause he's there, I can see Him.
That was a joke. No need to worry. :)
I’m sorry 😢 Mr.Rooster for you sadness. Mike and Ed do love you and want to share bee 🐝 stings with you.
I guess I'm going to have to start inviting them on my jobs instead.
Must have been them burritos. You know bees ain’t particularly fond of mexican food.
They ain’t likin my face today… now you know how the rest of us feel….
Dang man that was cold 😂
Tell him I said happy birthday and congratulations
Will do!
The Dynamic Duo!
Back in action!
So why is it that you can't use the honey?
Moisture content is too high due to not being capped honey. Will ferment.
Yep, What OkieRob said. You can see how runny it was when Tommy was biting into it.
Query? If you said, “Baby, could I get a peanut butter samich.” Does she make it with honey? You lucky bum you. God bless a southern girls heart. Mine are Bisaya a different southern.
She would definitely make it any way I wanted. She takes good care of me. :)
Filipino?
Yes.
They don't call it gas station food for no reason.

Hay you tried bitter almond oil?
I haven’t
Now everything is gased up!!! Good job partner!!! Thanks!!!
Fueled up and ready for action.
Don't tell Joe or he'll send the EPA after you all. LOL He don't like nothing gassed up.
When I was 15 my neighbor let me invite friends over and have a “pool party” at her house. I thought I was so cool.
I had 20 of my favorite people around and I lined up on the diving board to kick things off and dove in peacefully in my lil bikini. I immediately came out a full ninja to see everyone else had also become ninjas. I got stung right on my butt cheek before entering the water. Maybe I shouldn’t have jumped so much on the board before going in.
Sigh.
My party was upstaged by a new hive under the diving board. I’ll never forget it lol.
That’s hilarious!
Several years ago, an elderly lady called me to take care of bees in a palm tree beside her pool. She said she had been stung while watering her flower bed and knew for sure they were in the palm tree. I poked around in her flower bed and sprayed water on the tree with no response of any kind. She walked over beside me to point to where she thought they were and that’s when I found them. Some red wasps came out from under her diving board and stung her in the legs while I was watching. She nearly jumped in the pool. They never bothered me.
Hey rooster 🐓 I am a beekeeper & I mow lawns.
I'm sure you are busy as can be right now.
