I'm not a southerner although I have some southern roots a couple generations back and visited occasionally growing up. In my opinion Jerry Clower was the funniest man alive during my lifetime and I'd still stack his work against any comedian working today. I must have worn out a half dozen audio tapes of his albums over the years. RIP Jerry, I'm glad God left you here long enough to have brought so much joy to a whole lotta people.
Ma'am, were video journalists. Students and educators at the same time. I started out as a photographer in 1979, thank you very much.... Seriously, though? My camera costs more than my car.
Awhile back you said you got grief for your music choices. Well, I absolutely love your choices. As far as I’m concerned those folks are wrong. This was a great video. I know they can’t all be this big, but man when they are, I’m a happy camper! Thanks for another fine video!
Randy I love how generous you are with your knowledge teaching all of us about the wonderful honey bee. The old house in the woods was beautiful, someone once lived and loved in that place.
Great video! I love watching how laid back you are with the bees even after all the stings. It made my day to see you posted the same day as Mr. Ed! Thanks for sharing and letting me tag along :)
Those guys really seemed interested in your work with the bees. They got a lot of information. I had not heard how you got into this business. It was interesting to hear.
Love the music and am glad that you enjoy working in Mississippi. I live in Tupelo and hope that you can visit here someday and see where Elvis was born.
I love your videos. Highlight being the pix at the end. But I love the respect you have for your bees. Not sure I'll ever get there, so I enjoy your posts. Thank you.
Great Video as always Randy! Good to hear you mention the late, great, Jerry Clower too!! I never knew exactly what town in Mississippi that Jerry was from, though I do recall hearing him mention several times in his comical stories, that the "B-eau-tiful Versie Ledbetter Farm" was supposedly located down on "Rt. 4, Liberty Mis'ssippi!!" LOL!! 😊 I sure do miss ol' Jerry, and his brand of family friendly comedy! 😊
Liberty, Mississippi is the birthplace of Jerry Clower one of the funniest story tellers to have ever lived. This was the most stings I've seen you take since you took them yellow jackets on under that mobile home :) God Bless and keep filming Randy.
I'm bummed. UA-cam stopped alerting me to your videos a couple months back. 😡😡 oh well I guess I got something to keep me busy now. Thanks again for the videos.
I guess it will show my age if I say I listened to Jerry Clower on Records when I was a teenager. My boyfriend who died last year just loved him. We are all the way from California.
Was great to see you posting a cutout again. 🤓 Really liked seeing the closeup of the hive and your work! Please keep your cutouts coming & your hives status around your house! 👍😎
That was a great video. I am always amazed at how the bees can propalise so much. A great thing to see for sure. Have a blessed day and see you at Hive Life.
I love looking at old houses in the woods, usually we know where they are in spring because of all the daffodils that spring up. My grandson said you can tell that people loved it so because of the flowers all around.
Randy, I realize you said this was in April. At the beginning before you said that I was wondering if Pete had given up on bee removals after finding the snake when looking for straw. lol I still wondered why he wasn’t with you and thought maybe that he doesn’t do road trips. How’s your dad doing? Looking forward to seeing you at Hive Life and hope your dad comes too!
I generally like to do the long road trips alone but Pete is still around. He's taking care of his wife right now but he'll be back for spring cut outs. Dad is planning to come to Hive Life again. It's going to be a good one.
been several months since your channel popped up on my feed, enjoyed the watch, there is a quality about you and your work that is so soothing to watch, top notch and confident workmanship.
Clowrey was awesome. Saw him at the Oklahoma State Fair when I was in College. Man, that's a big one! That looks just like a similar cutout I did in my very first beekeeping video. An old house out in the country. You got it done a lot faster than I did though. lol Nice job nabbing that queen on the comb. Awesome ending with some cool photos and the folksy music. Thanks!
I rarely put a commentary but I love your videos, I am scared of bees, wasp, hornets, etc... but your videos are kinda like a thearapy and I love them, thanks for your work ^^ Greetings from Belgium in Europe.
Don't fear the bees. I once accidentally stuck my hand in a bumblebee nest and received not a single sting. Wasps, on the other hand, will attack if you merely cross their path to their nest.
I came for the bee removal. But the pics after the house were great too I would love to find something like that. But not possible where I live. Thanks for sharing.
They were a little testy but like my friend at Wonderful bees says "if you're not getting stung it's because you don't have enough bees in the hive". Clearly there were plenty in this one.
Very cool man! Watching videos like this really are neat. Blows my mind how when it comes to bees there are so many different lines of work needing to be done. Only swarm removal for me is shaking them off thee Ahmond trees😃🤙🏼
Sweet video my friend, I think the photos you took of that old home were exceptional . I know that is a lot of work with editing and not to mention the heat you endured through that bee removal but you sure make it look easy, I appreciate all you do and look forward to your next video. May God bless you my friend Matt from Battletown Kentucky
I'm not sure what kinda prices you charge but there's no one that can say you don't earn every penny that's for sure !!! Great video's keep them coming enjoy watching and thanks for taking the time to post them for all to see ! 👍
I love watching you work bees. I used to help a great uncle that had 3 or 4 hives when I was a kid. I was wondering why you don t vacuum the bees at the start since you are moving the hive. I did not care for the stings myself.
I don't have to spend as much time vacuuming if I run them up the hive. Vacuuming is one of the most time consuming parts of the job so if I can get them to group up and collect a bunch at a time all the better.
You are so kind to us stupid people. You answer us with respect. Tell that wife of yours to give you a big ole hug from all of us that truly appreciate this channel.
Honey bees got to be the most tolerant bees I've seen. I'm just surprised they don't charge out in a swarm and run everyone off the job! I'm glad for you guys they are that docile. But ole Rooster just keeps going in for more!
You are simi correct. A lot has to do with what breed the honey bees are. Italian bees are the most common in the Ohio area and fairly easy to work with. Midnight are just big babys and very easy but produce less honey. Cyprean breaad, they can keep em! Very aggressive. England has shared a breed called Buck Fast breed. I hear these are great honay producers and have a very waxy coating on their body and that healp against mites. Mites will wipe out a hive .
Real nice find. I've had only one cut out that size. It was an old train station building. The man said it had been there for 6 years. I made 3 hives from it. Can't never have to many honey bees. Thanks for great video.
That old wood is actually in real good shape for it's age, make nice beehives.😃 NICE pry-bar. Them 🐝's gettin grumpy, but kinda to be expected lol. There's been a colony there for a long time, lot of dollars in propolis there. Those guys got a show that day, didn't look like much work got done over all though.😅Found out the other day I don't really like getting stung in the face.🤕 Ty for sharing, Blessed Days...
Mississippi looks absolutely stunning through your lens.
It definitely has it's beautiful spots.
Randy - THANK YOU for reminding us of Jerry Clower. Such a staple of Southern entertainment. LAAWWWW!!!! Ole' Marcelle Ledbetter .....
You bet!
I feel sad for that neat house. All the memories will be gone soon. I miss my memories of the south country. Thanks for sharing¡¡
Great job and thanks for the road trip!! 👍

Very interesting cutout. Loved the photos at the end. Glad to see another video. Hoping another soon.
Wow that’s a big hive with lots of comb. Enjoyed the video of the landscapes and building. Thanks for sharing. Take care
There is not enough money to do his job... Not even once. I'm getting chills just watching...

Your photography is awesome.
