Thanks man! I can make a tire video yes. Only reason I havent yet is because there are guys out there with videos doing them in like 30 seconds lol. But I do have a few tips and tricks so maybe it will be good.
@@mikalliz2167 Thanks! I knock out at least a wheel a month. Its time consuming but if I listen to a good pod cast while doing the job its a easy breazy job lol
love all your videos man! thank you for sharing. was wondering if you only recommend doing the spokes (truing and centering) with the tire off or if it can be done with the tire still on the wheel? thanks again and ride safe!
Thanks ! You can center the wheel and also correct any wobbles while the tire is and and while the wheel is on the bike. You will need to use a spoke wrench on nipples top side. In the past I would check the front wheels center on new bikes and correct it as needed while still on the bike. Some bikes even new are not very center, although manufacturers seem to be better at getting them centered in the later year bikes.
Hello mate I’m finding it hard to find the right part for my yz125 05 I need to replace the rubber bumper on the rear shock so when it comes to grinding the nut down to take of the seal head I’m going to need a new nut I can’t find anywhere that tells me what the correct nut is any help appreciated 🤙🏻
Hello. If you carefully grind away the lip that hangs over and locks the nut on the shaft then the nut can be reused with no issues. I have done it many times with no issues. I believe some shock seal kits like all balls comes with a new nut but I usually end up using the stock one. Just take your time to grind away just the lip that hangs over the top of the nut. Try loosening the nut, if it hangs up after a little turn then back it back down and do a little more grinding. Next time one comes around I will try to get a video on this. I need to. Be sure to us red lock tight on the nut when reassembling. As for the bumper. On ebay just search for 2005 yz125 shock bumper. They are around 16 bucks or so
Yh wasn’t sure if I could use the same nut or not do I grind it at a 45 degree angle I have all ball seal head to replace the oem one and I have the bumper it was just the nut I wasn’t to sure on
@@jojokarli depends on what you use to grind it away. I use a cutting wheel about 3 inches round and very thin (but a smaller one like a 1.5 inch wheel on a dremal works too). I slide it just above the nut towards the shaft where its hanging over the nut and trim it away, one part at a time till the whole thing is shaved off. You will bump the nut some and scuff it up some but just try to avoid cutting into the nut too much(you pretty much have to bumps the nut some to get off of the hung over shaft off and out of the way). Little nicks and bumps are normal. You have to shave off the shafts hang over area pretty good and narrow it out pretty well before the nut will come off freely without binding.
Hello. I compared part numbers. Seems yamaha uses the same hub for both 18 and 19 inch rims. So you should be good to just install the 18 inch rim and spokes on your hub
@@UpAllNight91 thank you wery mutch for answear. So just to make sure if i bought basically spokes and rim for wrf 250/450 Or yz250x it should fit ? (Sorry for my english still learning😂)
love your vids man! maybe you can do a vid on how to change tires, tips an tricks etc.. keep it up bro!

So I stay away from the middle of the shaft and it’s ok to shave some of the nut
