I crimped that connector alittle for the upper sender and it holds tight... I was having the same issue with mines it just keeps falling out... A little squeeze made it hold
@@ktcgarage8572 No Problem and thank you for this video because my trooper didn't even the oil pressure sensor... I guess the previous owner didn't put it back in place so I went ahead and ordered it. I also put alittle piece of aluminum around the tip and forced the plug I crimped... Its been about 3 months and it did not come lose as yet...

Somebody help! I got a 1997 trooper ltd 4x4 3.2l automatic 4l30e transmission. I have code p0300 random misfire . I've done fuel injector / map/maf/plugs / coils .... everything but a new coil wire set. Was told it could be ecm.... pcm... whatever... True? Please help True?
Hay if she has a 4jx1 and ya oil light or senor not working and ya sump plug unscrews and oul leaks do worry engine will stop as it need oil to run injectors...
I have the same issue with my 98. That part is not available on rockauto anymore. It only shows a oil pressure sensor that is 1.89$ which doesn't look like the right part. Not sure where to go from here. I guess I need to look for oil pressure sending unit?
Xtrythis1 1 thanks for watching One Isuzu guy said best bet is to retap and run a manual gauge under the dash and skip the stock one all together. I don’t care to do that. Thanks man. Check out the Facebook Isuzutrader
Yeah I guess most countries in the world check if they have oil pressure by if it moves when you press the gas or not... 😅 Great build by the way. I live in Houston and will be taking my trooper to Florida for my airport car as I spend a lot of time there for work.
Um most cars dong even show a oil pressure gauge you have to fit it i never go by it because of that check your oil if its full then your fine The way you can tell you have low oil pressure is noises thats it by that stage you have potentially damaged your engine but again check oil weekly and you wont have a problem
If the gauge problem keeps repeating I would be replacing the oil light sensor. It may be that they share a common earth, and by leaving it disconnected you may not have a good earth to the new gauge. Also make sure the electrical connections are clean and tight fitting.
MACHINERY4CHANGE yes great tips I think they ground off the casing The problem I didn’t mention is the oil light sensor the plug is broken and it won’t attach I need to try to find a new connector I’m looking for it Thanks so much for joining in the discussion and being part of the channel. I will keep you posted on what happens. Thanks again!

Hello Mr. Kevin.. My Trooper won't start after just sitting for 2 days. Disconnected fuel lines and the pump is sucking and sending fuel.
Hard to say what it is over message.
Check spark fuel compression

I also noticed this- it used to be in rock auto just a few months ago. That one for $1 is definitely not the correct part

It's a trooper mate, she will still run without oil. Love my bighorn trooper, don't love her fuel consumption.
