- This episoide, we attempt to leave Fergus, Ontario, with Denon, aiming for a delightful lunch at Cowbell Brewing in Blyth. However, our plans take an unexpected turn when the 2018 Ski-Doo XRS 850 Renegade experiences another injector failure mere moments down the trail. With resilience and determination, we head back to the trailer.
Thanks to the skilled hands at Back Yard Recreation in Ayr, the snowmobile is swiftly repaired, and we're back on the trail just two days later. Departing from New Hamburg Arena, Drew and Gary decide to brave the journey alone, anticipating potential issues. Despite the initial setback, we successfully reach Cowbell for a well-deserved lunch and return home without a hitch.
But the adventure doesn't end there! Along the way, we capture breathtaking footage of the Goat Suspension Bridge in New Dundee, reminiscent of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge but for farm animals. Additionally, we stumble upon a crashed Lynx Snowmobile, adding an unexpected twist to our adventure.

i think about the riders south of the border and full on appreciation for what we have available and ability to experience in a crap year like this! Raise a glass to put a nail in the coffin of the 2024 season and lets all snow dance for an Epic 2025 🤘
When you get to Blyth, cross over the main street go another 600ft and trail goes straight or left. Take the left, brings you up to the highway and goes to the gas station across from Cowbell. Saves you running up the pavement.
we went home that way. Apparently there was a crazy lady running out and yelling at snowmobiles back there - she was gone by the time we got there
Thats a bummer to hear the oxgen needs plugged in..i was going to buy one tomorrow....maybe i should stick to the bvs2 then...i was hoping the oxygen was a upgrade
Oxygen is way way way better than BV2S - make the switch you will be amazed
surprised the trails are open with that low snow conditions
We will take it this season, any chance we can. They closed a day or so later 😞
So many skidoo problems since 2021 remember the world gave up during Covid and has not been the same since …
Its an 18’ but yes agreed, every unit seems to have some sort of issue 2021+

Both my wife and I ride skidoo and the quality has really seemed to have gone down hill ever since covid for some reason. Either in production or parts supplies quality going down! ☃️👍👍

I used to live next to that bridge, the nith River would flood and the farmers would be stranded as their farm is encompassed by the river. My father built the concrete bridge that you ride over.

Woah who's that guy on the '22 at the start of the video, looks like he always remembers extra oil and never once got shoptowel in his throttle body, smart looking guy that's for damn sure... 😅
I think that guy is an urban legend…. Kinda like Bigfoot. Hard to tell as the helmet is so dark, but it may actually be an AI robot. People tell me that I may be the only guy that has rode with him for that long, and whoosh…. He vanishes into a cloud of snow dust
Gary - How was the problem with Bullwinkle #1 resolved this time? Replace the injector again or something else ? It's never mentioned in the video
the first time we just cleaned the green corrosion off the plug. This time we replaced the injector - it says at the beginning in the parking lot on the second attempt

There’s a lot of Snowmobilers in therapy this Winter ! Something about withdrawals ! Drugs are good though ! Tweekin’ ! No Snow but did I mention ? The drugs are good ! My doctor is a friend of mine ! He rides too ! I bet his stuff is better than my stuff ?

Where do you trailer for this run. Obviously conditions matter but can you go from Ayr ,drumbo?
did you watch it? first attempt we trailered to fergus arena and second attempt trailered to New Hamburg arena - yes u can ride from ayr or drumbo if conditions are yellow
