The frame rotted out of this Equinox, leaving the engine with no support. Can we find a cheap fix?

This mounts for the subframe of this 2007 Chevy Equinox completely rotted out, leaving the subframe dangling. To replace the frame rails would cost much more than the vehicle is worth. I think I might have a low-cost solution so let's try it out.
