You must be a tough one camping in the snow during winter, you must be one of the chosen few who can tolerate cold. Love your set-up and having all that view to yourself is indeed amazing. Happy camping.
Hello! Thanks for commenting! I like to challenge myself not to stagnate😀 many advantages of winter camping: no bugs, few people (for some reason) water is everywhere. Have a warm weekend you too 👍😀
What a great place... I wish to live in a place like this one day... there's nothing that make me feel better than nature and snow 😍! Lovely sharing, like 18 ❤
Lots of snow. I love those tents. I have a cheap Nature Hike version. I finally went out in enough snow to dig out a trench in the vestibule and sit with a cooking platform. Nice set up
Digging out the vestibule makes all the diffrence, so much easier to cook and get dressed. Thank you for watching and commenting on my video! Have a great day🐈😀
Thank you for your comment! It's a beautiful view from the summit and the big summit in the distance is Gaustatoppen 1883 meter above sea level. Thanks for watching mate and I wish you a great day 🐈😀
Hi , first time on your channel , I'm a big fan of winter camping and I like to see other people doing the same so I can learn a few other tips . In this video I saw something new for me , the long red tent pegs , never saw this in Canada , what are they? It could be useful here where I go camping because there is over 1.75 M of snow . Thanks for the video , I will sub to your channel
Hi there and thank you for subscribing! The Red tent pegs is snow plough markeres in plastic that I cut in half. Very useful in much snow. Thanks for watching and have a great day! 🐈😀
Thanks Joshua! It's arctic bedding, its my sleep system. Sleepingmats and sleepingbag fully rolled out so I can get fast into the tent. It's very convenient. You can Google arctic bedding, thanks for watching!
Fantastic Orjan the colour of the red tent pans white snow (I know it superficial (but it’s makes for a stunning film visually)) 🤠👍 The digging out of the snow I do the tent porch was ingenious 🙏🏼 Thanks so much for this video (i enjoyed very much 🙏🏼) Best Simon 🤠👍 Was that Amundsen’s picture on your skis ??
Thank you Simon, I'm really glad you liked it! Digging out the vestibule makes all the diffrence, much easier to cook and so on. It is Helge Ingstad on the skis, a norwegian writer and outdoorsman. Atb 😊
@@GubbePaaTur Hei! Dette er på Svanstul, nærmere bestemt Svanstulflottene. Ja var en fin tur. Ser frem til at snøen kommer snart så jeg kan ut igjen. Takk for kommentar! Ønsker deg en fin helg!

Nice video, may I ask what that green thing is on top of your sled? It looks like some kind of bivy bag?

Vakker natur og fin film Ørjan
Tusen takk Espen, hyggelig 😃
Good to see you in your tent again! It looks so peaceful and beautiful there. How far did you ski before you set up camp?
Yes I needed it badly, long time since last campingtrip. It's about 3 - 4 km distance to ski, not so far.
Also, what is this green bag? I saw you sitting in it at some point :D
It an arctic bedding, it is my sleep system, it is water resistans so I used it as a "sunbed" outside 😊
@@TheHikingCatdad Interesting! I've never seen that before.
@@adventuresandreams It is very convenient, can't do without it!
