I was getting bored of watching guitar channel videos and then I found your channel. I’m really enjoying watching your videos. I try to do variations of the spider for practise workout each day, plus practice playing songs. Good luck and best wishes for your channel 😊
Thank you very much!! After hitting a brick wall with this book and being left with constant shoulder and neck pain, I'm establishing a completely new routine now and so far it seems to be quite promising. If this is intersting, I might do an update video about the matter. :)
Thank you! I had to take a break because of some nasty back pain but I'll get back to it once I've figured out a way to practice without tightening the shoulders. :)
"Oh look, Guitar Aerobics!" 😄 I felt the same surprise, because I got the same book collecting dust on a shelf, and had completely forgotten about it 😊 But it's too much of an excercise for my level, so it's gonna stay there 😄 My goal is to finish "Blues you can use", a great book for beginners like me. I am also a subscriber on Active Melody, which also has many amazing, free youtube lessons - it's amazing and for all levels of playing.. As you can see, I already have too much on my plate 😊 Very happy to see you trying out a bass guitar kit, looking forward to it! Happy new year!
Hahaha! I can imagine that! xD Don't worry, you'll get to it. ;) Thanks for pointing out the Active Melody! I'll definitely have a look. :) Happy new year to you, too!
I hope you keep making videos. You’re just so likable. 😊 I know it can be rough to make videos and keep a full time job at the same time, but I’d rather have videos more rarely than no videos at all.
Thanks for your kindness! :) I will keep making videos, don't worry! In fact, I'm editing the next video right now and waiting for my mouse driver to install since I noticed that my mouse macros didn't work. I had to install a new OS because of issues with my SSD and the audio driver.
I have no practice routine. But I'm not a good role model. Because I play only just for fun at home and have no preasure or any kind of ambition to improve much. Only if I want to learn a new song or a new technique, then I'm really into it. But this happens maybe 2 or 3 times in a year 🙄 Most of the time I just enjoy to jam to a youtube video of Hendrix, B.B. King, Clapton and all the other Blues/Rock legends. So after decades of playing guitar, I'm maybe still a beginner. But I played with the greatest 😎 Happy New Year! 😊
Thanks for sharing! 😄 I especially enjoyed your finishing statement! It's always the best to keep things fun. After the first weeks with guitar Aerobics, I know, I'm a beginner, too. This book is hard to master… oh my… 😱
I will be looking forward to the build videos and I will be will be building along with you. it is just a shame you will not be able to see my progress as we go ?!
@@Bandforge I go through periods where I feel stuck and periods where I learn something new that inspires me. Usually a new way of visualizing, thinking or approaching something differently than I had before. I think the greatest thing about guitar is that it is a lifelong journey. There is always something new to be learned! Also, the longer I play the less I focus on "improvement" and more on how I feel when I play. If I am able to express myself in a way that makes me happy then all is good.
@Johnny M Very well said! It's inspiring to hear that. Too often I feel like I'm not really able to express myself when playing the guitar and makes me quite unhappy at times. Perhaps this is why I'm so focused on "improvement" as I hope to get to that point where I can just play and not stumble over my fingers when trying to bring across what's on my mind. Thanks for sharing! :)
Mel Bay book of chords, Elemental Essential Book one and book2, and Warm-up book, play guitar for 20 to 30 minutes every day, get a squier affinity and amp for year 2022
Wow, that sounds like a tough routine! I bet your progressing quickly. Tbh, the guitar aerobics challenge already starts to pay off. Which of the books can you recommend the most? Or is it not possible to pick a favorite?

Looking forward to see more on your channel in the future, but don't stress anything :)
And good luck with all the practicing ;)

I'm really sorry that everything got delayed! I will find a way to make sure that you'll be able to share your progress, don't worry! :)
I play every day yet rarely, if ever, really practice. I really should actually practice more. Good luck. Cheers!
Thank you! :D
Do you feel that your playing is still improving? I often feel kind of stuck…
