oh for the third time my guitar sounds so nice and in-tune! people don't believe me when I say the tuning's bad because I have very old strings on, but now that I've changed them, it's exactly in tune without any truss rod adjustment. thanks for the help, I understood the winding better this time!
I never had a new guitar before, always bought used. I finally bought a new California-mad tele and couldn’t figure out why I hated it. But these adjustments have helped make it a dream! Good work!

I've seen a lot of adjustment and restringing videos and I've taken the best of them all, and then I met your channel, and you have everything I thought to be correct. Also thanks to you I got an affinitt telecaster and it is a wonderful instrument for the price and has me delighted.

I still use this method even with locking tuners, I guess it's just a habit now. So I can't really say if it affects the tuning stability or not.
