The true Sabbath is Saturday. Emperor Constantine is the one who decreed Sunday as a day of rest which is therefore a decree made by man. One of the commandments is to observe the Sabbath and keep it holy. Personally, I believe that most of us have failed in keeping this commandment be it through genuine cluelessness or wilful disregard. And I have been a believer since I was 9 years old and only recently came across a Video explaining this in great depth.

@@lilarayle5967 New covenant or not, SATURDAY is/was the Lord's Day of rest. Katia is correct. Constantine was the one who changed it, trying to incorporate sun worshipping (done on Sundays), pagan culture into Christianity. And that's the sun disk depicted in Catholic art. @@IDidntKnow... I’m not sure I understand your comment though. Saturday was abs is the sabbath , not the Lords day. New Testament Christians met on the first day of the week. The day Jesus arose. The Lord’s day is New Testament

Although Pastor Tiff made valid points to consider, let's be honest, this is exactly why the subject has been & continues to be debated. I stick to my Saturday. Re your comment to Katia& same to someone else: the only reason I commented, is because your comment to Katia jumped out at me. You may not have meant to be unkind, but that's how it came off. This question has been debated for years. Since the word "permanent" was used, & the 7th day IS Saturday, (the day of rest), for more time with God, I'm sticking to Saturday. AND, if we're descendants of Abraham, then we all have a Jewish ancestry (spiritually speaking). I think that as long as there's a day in the week dedicated to God, then God is happy. Thanx Pastor Tiff, for your gentle teaching on the subject. I'm passionate on this subject, simply for being lied to all my life. Much love & blessings.

the 7th Day Shabbat is what was commanded by Yahweh, that is set apart. Remember to keep it HOLY.

@Mike I hear ya. IMO, this is like the "flat earth/round earth" issue. When at the end of the day, God knows our heart. I'm old school, I guess you can call me a "traditionalist". I'm a SATURDAY, because it was the original. Although I try to live as godly as I can, I always remind myself that God knows my heart & my level of understand of things. We MUST NOT condemn those who prefer Sunday, for they have their own levels of understanding. If the desire at the end of the day, is in reaching God & you commit a day to Him, then grace wins, hands down. ;) Blessings

I use to go on Sunday ... GOD show me Saturday is the 7th day...nothing to do with Jews...it changed to Sunday in the 1400...we are not allow to ad or take away... Saturday is the day for me ... and I love my SAVOUR...Remember JESUS did it and HIS deciples when HE walked on earth..HE did not make HIS sabbath the 1st day of the week..Seventh day is Saterday
You said it! The simple fact that Saturday is the 7th day, "day of rest" the original day, is enough for me. It's not about legalism & all that, It just is what it is. Saturday, God rested, & so shall I. ;) Blessings

I've been going through some tough days, learning about the Prosperity, New Reformation, Word of Faith movements really took me down for a bit, then I realized: "What am I doing to myself?" At the end of the day, God knows me. Imperfections & all. And I have to keep reminding myself that God does not expect us to be perfect, just in the process. Then, all is well again, for me. Sunday is a day that was man made to worship the sun god 🌞
That's why God said in his 4th commandment to REMEMBER the Sabbath day to keep it holy

I don't see you point. Should I deny the doctrine of the Trinity because the pope is pushing for it? Problem with Saturday worshippers you have been taught to hate the Roman Catholic church and the pope. The AntiChrist will oppose every church institution including yours and anything called God. Would loved to have heard your explanation of Ezekiel 40-48 where, in the millennium, the only times the temple Jesus will build is only open on Sabbath or Saturday and on new moons.
Our Church meets both Saturday and Sunday.
You say "Abraham did not keep the Sabbath" , the KJV Bible says - Gen 26:5 - "Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws."
God's Seal is within His 7th day Sabbath Commandment.
God has not changed His Laws.Woe to those who add to God's word and those who take away from God's Word.

I'ld rather obey God than man, & be under His blessings. Isaiah 58: 13,14. See also Isaiah 66: 22,23. As the new heavens & the new earth, which God will make, it says that ALL flesh shall come to worship before Me, from one Sabbath to another. Yes, we must study the Word everyday, but it is clear that 6 days God says you shall work, & on the 7th day you shall rest from your daily work, & come together to worship Me.
I believe that it is Saturday and Man has made it on Sunday like let us look at the days of the week had no names but numbers like Sunday bring day one of the week.? I feel that I believe

hello Evangelist Tiff, i have a lot of respect to you and your teachings, i am still not sure about this topic: look at this scripture below: in Iasiah 56: 6-7
"And foreigners who bind themselves to the Lord to minister to him, to love the name of the Lord, and to be his servants, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant-7 these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations".
He is talking about foreigners keeping the Sabbath, that God will be pleased with them...so does that not mean Sabbath is not only for jews but also for foreigners ? appreciate your thoughts
Isaiah56:6-7 talks about the foreigners who joined the lsraelites from Egypt during the Exodus( Exodus 12:38,43-49 and also it includes the foreigners who went to live in the promised Land with them. The "FOREIGNERS", as mentioned in the Isaiah 56:6-7, does not imply the Gentiles outside the Promised Land. Therefore, the sabbath and its regulations does not apply to the non-Jews.

Whilst we are busy arguing about such a straightforward matter the devil is getting excited as he knows that some people will take it personal ending up angry. In the meantime the trumpet will sound and they won't hear it resulting in getting the real mark of the beast during tribulation time. I opt out of the discussions and concentrate with working out my own salvation in winning souls so that no-one misses the trumpet 🎺 😢

I am a Pentecostal Cristain got saved 2006 and had 3 pastor in my walk with the Lord. the one that baptized me 2006 ny pastor Pedro olivie 3 years I moved so had my 2 pastor ny Thomas for 11 years and my Pastor now Pastor Eriberto Bonilla all man of God all full of the Holy Spirit and all though the same we get together on Sunday

I have a few issues with your teaching
#1 - the 4th commandment doesn't say "go to church" , it says "rest from your labors" so only a fool would think anyone thinks "you cannot go to church on Sunday" or you "must worship God on Saturday" , the command is to REST , and then other passages say "avoid thy pleasures on the sabbath" , in other words , rest OUT of this world and spend time with God and treat the sabbath as God's Holy Day ... Of course "going to church and spending time in formal worship "makes sense" but you can worship God any day you want .... You can "go to church" on Tuesday , just don't CALL Tuesday "God's Holy Day He blessed at Creation"
#2 - You keep saying "Legalistically keeping Saturday" as if honoring Saturday is Legalism , but honoring Sunday is "freedom in Christ" ..... That's not very fair as BOTH are "obeying rules" and don't pretend you do not teach people "you should go to church on Sunday" as a "rule" . in fact , you have lots of rules "pay tithe" (that's a biggy) ..... I just try to obey God's rules , whereas you "we're all under grace people" obey man's rules .... In fact , you people , RIGHT NOW , are pushing for GOVERNMENT LEGISLATION to make Sunday a "National Day of Rest" BY LEGISLATION !!!!!! Yet you do not consider that "Legalism" ????? Give me a break , I'm sorry , you people are TERRIBLY mixed up and delusional , and frankly , hypocritical and very unfair to those of us who consider Saturday the 7th Day , still valid and God's Holy Day , the proper Day of Rest from our labors and obviously a good time to "go to church" (again , "going to church" is NOT what the commandment is even talking about at all ... God wants us to dedicate one day , and not ANY DAY , but one specific day , to Him ... Sort of like tithe is 1/10th , the sabbath is 1/7th TO GOD , and who in their right mind thinks "obeying God" is wrong ???) You have no problems "obeying man"
#3 - You say "no one from Adam to Moses kept the sabbath" .... That is quite an assumption .... God's commandments were in affect all through history and in fact are part of Heaven's Government since eternity !!!!! Name ONE commandment you think doesn't exist in Heaven , in fact Eve "lusted and coveted the knowledge satan was offering her , ye shall be as God" (thou shalt not covet) , but satan lied of course and failed to include they would die and sin would ruin this planet for 6,000 yrs !!!!! but yes , we would "know good and evil" , oh boy , didn't that turn out well ..... God's commandments and ALL of His words had been passed down ORALLY for hundreds of years because back then people had superior memories than we have , those people were FAR SUPERIOR to us in physical and mental stamina , that's why Noah could work like 10 modern men and build that huge Ark for 100 years and live for 100's of years !!!!!! Cain committed "murder" , those people also sacrificed , but there is "no command" to sacrifice until Abraham .... Show the "command" for Cain and Able to sacrifice ... it's not there , the Bible just says "they brought a sacrifice" but NOTHING was "codified in stone" back then .....
#4 - Bible Patriarchs kept God's commandments BEFORE Mt Sinai , but you see , the Israelites had been Egyptian slaves for FOUR HUNDRED YEARS in a Pagan land , and they had become infected with Paganism and had lost a lot of memory of God's commands ... FOUR HUNDRED YEARS .... Look what has happened to America in just the last ONE HUNDRED YEARS ... So when God brought them out of Egypt , He codified everything for them , plus He was their KING , so a KING obviously makes His laws plain and God is no exception
#5 - You say "The sabbath was given only to Israel" .... I'm sorry but Jesus said the sabbath was FOR MAN , and surely you understand that "Israel" = "The saved of all time" , that saved Christians are ISRAELITES !!!!!!! "ALL who are in Christ Jesus are Abraham's seed" '
#6 - "Let no man judge you concerning a sabbath day" .... This is a true scripture , and here's what it means ..... If a person honestly worships God and erroneously thinks ANY DAY is somehow "holy" but simply has not had the opportunity to learn the full truth , God accepts that worship and no one should judge them , some of the greatest preachers of all time were Sunday Keepers , GREAT men of God , the Protestant Reformers were Sunday Keepers !!!!!! They THOUGHT "Sunday was God's Holy Day" , so God is merciful in this , and if you "Love God and Love your Neighbor" you are fulfilling the law , and God is MORE concerned with how we treat each other than how or what day we consider Holy to Him , if we err in sincerity , it is credited as righteousness , BUT , make no mistake , we are ALL duty bound to seek out the truth as if it is a "Pearl of Great Price" and we are NOT to "reject light from Heaven" , and here's the really bad part ..... If one group FORCES the others to accept their Holy Day BY GOVERMENT LEGISLATION , you are violating "Love thy Neighbor" and you are PERSECUTING THE BRETHREN and Rome is your harlot mother , and THAT is when FORCED SUNDAY SACREDNESS becomes the "Mark of the Beast" ..... The Beast is Rome , and it's Mark is persecuting the saints and "changing times and laws" ..... You will be on very shaky ground once you advocate LEGISLATION to make Sunday a mandatory holy day of rest , even if it is under the guise of "family day" or "save the planet day" .... Satan is very very sneaky ...... "Here are they that keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus" ..... These are the people who will stand for God in the last days ..... and the Sabbath is going to be THEE ISSUE OF THE AGES ..... Obey God , or Obey Rome ..... choose wisely

I have always wondered about this Saturday and the Lord's Day. So Sunday is the correct day for gathering for Christians.

For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

It doesn't matter what day Christians meet. Everyday is the same to God. We give worship to God everyday, not just on a Saturday or a Sunday!
I have read and listened to dr McGee for years and have used his books when I was in seminary and still study them today. He was greatly used of God.

Jesus kept the commands of the Father. These are the works He is speaking of. After His death we will do greater works as there will be more people that follow Him and guard His commands, statutes and ordinances. The Holy Spirit He will send to help us walk the straight and narrow path.

What is of the utmost importance is for each believer to offer oneself as a living sacrifice ,holy and acceptable to God, which is spiritual worship.

This brought tears to my eyes. Praise God. Thank you for explaining this. I know someone who told me I was going to hell because of not following the 4th Commandment about the Sabbath by going to Church on Sunday and not Saturday. I tried to explain how he wasn't correct, so, now I have the proper way, through the Holy Scriptures, to help him understand without sounding offensive or argumentative.
whoever told you "you are going to hell for keeping is Sunday" is 100% wrong .... However , that does not negate the fact that Saturday is God's Holy Day for all humanity and is a sign we acknowledge HIM as our Creator ..... You can go to church any time you like , you can worship , sing , study the Bible , congregate with fellow Christians any time you like , the Commandment says "rest from labors" and other passages say "refrain from your own worldly pleasures" on the Sabbath .... That commandment is still in effect as are ALL 10 commandments .... we are saved by grace for sure , but we should obey God if He is our King ..... and some of the greatest preachers and Christian people of all time have been Sunday Keepers , people of God , doing mighty works , BUT , God is shedding more and more "light" on humanity , and in the last Days the commandments of God vs the Traditions of man are going to be a huge issue and "test" .... The Sabbath was made for man (Mark 2:27). Therefore, the Sabbath was made at creation and given to man as a gift, not just a random law to follow. That's why God made the Sabbath "holy". Remember that there were no Jews at the time. Why did the Sabbath commandment in Exodus 20; 8-11starts with the word “Remember? Because God knew that man would forget or try to change the Sabbath. Even Jesus respected the Sabbath Day (Saturday) that was given by God. Thus, he raised from the dead on Sunday. Jesus had all the power to raise from the dead on Saturday but be choose not to disobey God's Holy law. Many of the Messianic jews who attend it go on Friday night. The sunday services are attended by many gentile christians and some messianic

Jesus rested in the tomb over the Sabbath in honor of its holiness and being resurrected on the first day does not anywhere in Scripture denote it as a day of worship. God gave us baptism as the rite to commemorate His death, burial and resurrection.

Emperor Constantine did not institute Sunday to "Protect" the Christians....He did it to combine paganism and Christianity. Sunday was then enforced by papal Rome where millions of Christians were exterminated because they chose to be true to God's Ten Commandment Sabbath...The Ten Commandments have existed from everlasting to everlasting because they are the character of the ways of His eternal kingdom. They point out what sin is 1 John 3:4 says "Sin is the transgression of the law." So to break the 7th day Sabbath is to break His law. Romans 6:23 says that the wages of sin (transgressing His law) is death. God told Adam and Eve that they would die. Satan the liar, said that we would not surely die. The Scripture does not say that the Lord's Day is Sunday. Matthew 12:8 "The Son of man is Lord of the Sabbath." That tells us which day is the Lord's day. Sunday worship comes from the Roman Catholic church and they take responsibility for this. It is a commandment of man. Jesus warned us that "They do worship Me in vain, keeping for doctrine the commandments and traditions of men." Matthew 15:9 The seventh day is God's Sabbath. Sunday is a product of the son of perdition, the pope. Soon, Sunday worship is going to be forced upon all people by government mandate or you will not be able to buy or sell. So Sunday worship is the mark of the beast. The pope admits that Sunday is the mark of her authority. So we all have to choose between God's sign of allegiance which is the 7th day Sabbath or the mark of Rome's authority which is Sunday worship. It is wrong to force Sunday worship on people, denying them the right to food, housing, peace and happiness, and the right to worship God according to the Scriptures.

In Matthew, Mark, Luke and John the handwriting of ordinances that were against the people in those books. Who were they? According to Jesus who said this in Matt.15 [24] But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
By separating out what is for the Jews under law and the Jews under the new covenant from what is for the Christian the answer is immediately answered. It does not matter what day you gather. It might be Saturday or it might be Sunday. Doesn't even matter if it is the 3rd day if you are not under the Law of Moses.
So how is calendar and days right then please explain because in bible it says 360 days a year but we been following 365 days a year. So Monday could be some other day like Wednesday? So why did we not follow 360 days a year and let politics dictate days of year to church .
