You know this that Revelation 22:18,19 does not apply to the whole Bible but only to the book of Revelation. At the time the Book of Revelation was written the Bible was not in the form we see it now. The Bible is made of 66 books. And if you would read the Bible with blinders off, you would learn that Jesus not only quoted Enoch in Matthew 22:29-30 but also rebuked the Sadducees for not knowing it.
@@georgeteo8797 I understand your reasoning behind your conclusion, but let me give you another perspective to consider. Yes, it could be true that Revelation might have just been referring to itself as the book of prophecy that is not meant to be added to or taken away from, and not the whole Bible as we have it now. Yet, here's why it's still VERY important as to why we should NOT add to or take away from the Holy Bible as it is right now: The whole Bible is not meant to be added to or taken away from. The reason for this is because the Bible is meant to be a constant source of truth. God never changes, so therefore, the truth never changes. As it says in scripture, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away." (Matthew 24:35). The New Testament has existed for around 2000 years and is meant to provide an ending to the Bible that fulfills the Old Testament prophecies about Jesus into the New Testament. The book of Revelation is meant to explain the future of God's kingdom and allude to the seriousness of God's eternal judgment to those who deny repenting and putting their faith in Christ. The entire Bible is structured as it is because of the early church Fathers who either knew Jesus personally or knew the disciples of Christ. They were called to proclaim the gospel in order to establish the first Christ-centered churches. It was the Holy Spirit working in them that gave them the ability to discern the truth of what books to keep or remove from the Bible, as well as notice the internal consistencies that contradict with the rest of scripture. Anything that didn't remain consistent with the rest of the other books of scripture were removed. Enoch was one of these books. Why was it internally inconsistent with the rest of scripture? Here are some reasons why: (Enoch chapters 6-7) are a parallel to (Genesis 6:1-4) in our Bible. However, it says many things that are not in our Bible. It says that “200” fallen angels came to Earth to marry and impregnate human women, which resulted in offspring, being referred to as "giants". This is unbiblical. First of all, angels do not marry or procreate, as Jesus states in (Matthew 22:29-30). Secondly, giants already existed during this time-period, NOT as the offspring of fallen angels and women. As it says in scripture, "There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown." (Genesis 6:4). It simply states that the giants (Nephilim) were "on the earth in those days". They already existed. The sons of God mentioned were NOT fallen angels. They were the descendants of Seth. On the other hand, the daughters of men mentioned were the descendants of Cain. Sons of God are godly men, whereas daughters of men are ungodly women. It was these two descendants breeding together that led to the earth being corrupted and God sending the flood. Hopefully you understand my perspective on why the book of Enoch is untrustworthy. Most of the book of Enoch is speculated that it wasn't even written by Enoch himself and it's also historically inaccurate to the rest of scripture. One reason for this is it's inaccuracy when it comes to referencing Noah and the flood. In several places, the book of Enoch seems to put Enoch as being alive when Noah was born. In (Enoch 106:8-107:3), Enoch has a conversation with his son Methuselah regarding the birth of Noah. In (Enoch 107:2-3) it says: “And now, my son, go and make known to thy son Lamech that this son, which has been born, is in truth his son, and that (this) is no lie.’ And when Methuselah had heard the words of his father Enoch-for he had shown to him everything in secret-he returned and showed (them) to him and called the name of that son Noah; for he will comfort the earth after all the destruction.” Enoch (106:18) says that Enoch told Methuselah to name the child Noah. These scriptures are both unbiblical, as it alludes to Enoch being alive in the time Noah was born. In the Bible, Enoch was taken up to heaven 69 years before Noah was even born. These are a few reasons why I do not trust the book of Enoch, there are many more contradictions. That’s why God didn’t inspire anyone to write and add it. This is not at all from those who were inspired to write. It is a different belief so it is a false doctrine.

Thank you brother in Christ, Holy Spirit never lead me to book of Enoch. Always leads me to Holy Scriptures. Book of Enoch not the Enoch of the Bible. Study with Christ.
Glad you touched on this subject...and yup I swim deep in the pool as you say because I want to learn as much as possible about my lord and savior and I do believe there more knowledge of what has happened in detail on our planet and what has happened ...
You can find it online on UA-cam but I do warn you some people I don't think are ready for some of of things in the book of Enoch I believe some of it to be true and link to the Bible but I'm not a pastor nor well educated enough to really give any advice or tell you much about it ....that is why I asked tiff if he would touch more on the subject if he believes it to line up with the Bible and if he believes it to be true but what I did just find out from this video is there's 3 diffenet versions I'm not sure which one I've listened to ...but what I find so intriguing about it is ....Enoch was 1 of 2 that lived whom never died why aren't we learning more about Enoch and what had happened...and I I i have some ideas why that may be but like I said I'm not a scholar or preacher and don't like to give to much opinion of something I have little knowledge of but it is very interesting ....I do believe God had the book of Enoch left out for a reason if IF IT IS A TRUE BOOK
The book of Psalms states my transgressions are as the hairs of my head. If I take ths litterally that means I have less transgressions than I used to as I have far less hairs on my head than years ago.
This guy is wrong.....all books should be taught ,he's right they should not have taken out all the other books and put in what they wanted us to know, God gave us free will to decide what we want to know to be truth.....so I disagree with his teaching .
Brother Tiff, I admire your biblical knowledge so much. I am much older than you. This is what I think when I, sometimes, read disagreeing comments on your lectures. The people that disagree with you know that you are correct in your teachings, but some of them have things that tug at their hearts...things like their progeny. They know you are right but their selfish hearts won't let them accept that you are a true man of God and correct. I have read comments like "I believe everything you say, but I'm going to have to disagree with you on this subject..." whatever this subject might be. I know that you are a true man of God. My Godly father was too...that's probably why I have my insight about you. You just keep on doing God's Work. Thank you about this lecture regarding the 3 books of Enoch. God Bless you, Sweet Sir!
Actually, I don't think this was so clear. I would have liked to hear more about the firm criteria for inclusion. Besides that, isn't the warning at the end of the book of Revelation specifically about the book of Revelation? It was not put in the Bible then and there. Of course I do not mean you should add or take away from any other Bible book, but this is not a good argument against a certain book.
There is no “firm criteria” for inclusion among notable scholarship. Yes the warning I gave from “adding to or taking away” is for the book of Revelation as I taught.
God is still speaking to our hearts today. He surely speaks to my heart on a regular basis. If He isn’t doing so something is very wrong. The book of Matthew was not written down until long after the death of Jesus. The only scripture at the time He spoke those words was The Old Testament. Particularly The Torah. The words at the end of The Book of Revelation refer to the writings in that particular book, not the other writings as it was not joined to the other writings until many, many years later. If we were to take that so literally every translation of the Bible that came after, certainly all English versions would have done that, but without them very few would be able to read The Bible. So many doctrines flying about today. Only in seeking our Heavenly Father can He guard our hearts and minds from the many deceptions.
@@arockalypsgaming this is how I would read it, however, I’m in no position to add or remove anything from any part of the Bible, let alone the Book of Revelation
But I would love to hear a teaching on angels and whether you think there physical or non physical beings 🤔 or what the Bible says about that ..like when angels appeared to Mary and when angels appeared in Sodom and Gomorrah...were the angels physical beings like we are??? Or were they spiritual beings that don't necessarily have to be physical but can be I'm very confused then also when the sons of God came and took women upon themselves when the giants were in the world were physical angelic beings actually breeding with women 🤔
The Holy Spirit inspired the men and women before and after the first coming of Christ and only He is to be our ultimate teacher. We are all, young old and in between, given the Holy Spirit to teach and lead and guide us in any way He so chooses. He also will show us which are of God and which are not. We all will stand before Him one day and give account for ourselves alone. No one belongs in between that relationship in any way other than He chooses to use them. Such a fine line between being used of God and getting off into arrogance. Only The Spirit can see the actual intents of our hearts and discern the actual truth. Without the leading and illumination of the Spirit everything can be dead works.
I've always felt that the Holy Spirit was warning me against reading it. I just wanted to hear an opinion from a Bible scholar that I trust. Thank you!
Should you even be asking this question? Read Revelation 22:18 and ask yourself that question Sir. “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:” Revelation 22:18 KJV I really don’t know why they waste so much time speculating and doing this. Jesus Christ did not make mention of anything in the book of Enoch or the apocrypha. He did not teach more than what the Bible teaches.
My belief is that when we repent of our sins and truly trust God for our salvation...having the pure faith of a little child...telling and sharing with others about God's love in a loving, caring way, we actually become new creatures. We put the old "human" away and we become new humans. It's just like the Good Book says "My sheep hear my voice", and we do hear Him speak to us. He gives us the assurance that He is truly with us...we can't see Him; we can't hear Him; and we can't touch him in the natural state of man, but we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that He is with us! "Trust and obey...there is no other way!"

The people that disagree with you know that you are correct in your teachings, but some of them have things that tug at their hearts...things like their progeny; past sins; or some other worldly situation. They know you are right but their selfish hearts won't let them accept that you are a true man of God and correct. We kept our Covenant with God from the very beginning...! I love his sweet soul much more than his earthly body...I so want him in Heaven with me.
Maryann, how can you be a Christian so long, and still write such things? Don't you know, that we all know in part, even brother Tiff? You cannot at all say things like: "The people that disagree with you, know that you are correct in your teachings, but... etc." You don't even know those people. Yet, without knowing them, or what they believe, you've put a judgment upon them. This is not Christian! Any true man of God makes mistakes. Every one. Not one excluded. Look at what Paul said about Peter (Cephas) in Galatians 2: 11-13 "But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned. For prior to the coming of some men from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles; but when they came, he began to withdraw and separate himself, fearing those from the circumcision. The rest of the Jews joined him in hypocrisy, with the result that even Barnabas was carried away by their hypocrisy." By the way, any Roman Catholic reading along: mark this, there is no such way as infallible humans. Get him off your pedestal. No human ought ever be put there.

I've been hoping you would cover this! I've kind of seen both sides of it. I always figured it's interesting, but stick with what God preserved in the Bible
The passage from revelations doesn’t apply and is taken out of context, The contents of the bible that millions of people read was decided by a few men, pages out of Enoch were found with the Dead Sea scrolls, I encourage all to read it when paired with the Bible it can help strengthen faith…
MY BRO , my daughter in love , found a Bible dated 1800 on eBay and purchased it. It has all the books of the Bible in it that were not included in the Bible as we know it. It is very interesting ,,
I have and read the 1st book of Enoch and the book od Jasher but I waited till I had been a follower of Christ for over 40yrs. I was curious what it was like in the days of Noah. I know it's not inspired of God and Enoch didn't write it all. Just read it for a bit of history.
Thank you Sir for confirmation. I wish a lot of those brothers who tried to bring up this book for any stupid reason would watch this and understand. It’s simply is foolish to try to make someone believe false doctrine.
I really like your preaching but that passage that you read at the beginning of the video from Revelation, cannot rightfully be taken out of context to mean the entire Bible. That scripture is referring to the book of Revelation. God told Moses the same thing in Deuteronomy. He told Moses to give that warning that nothing should be added to the Torah, or the law that God had given Moses. If anybody was to add to the Torah or to the book of Revelation they would indeed pay a high price.
I wish everyone alive would read the Holy Bible and seriously study it. Their soul is what is at stake. People reject Christ without reading the four gospels for themselves and that is a real shame. But, who here has already read 1 Enoch? Or the second and third one? I cannot completely reject a text that I have not read. Maybe it is not inspired. Martin Luther said "Not Held Equal to the Scriptures, but Are Useful and Good to Read" of the apocrypha in general. I suggest further study of the biblical canon itself and church history to everyone. Emphasis on scripture alone is our modern lens on the bible. Private devotion to the bible is a very good thing. However, in the early church Christians received the Word through a spoken liturgy. The council of Trent and earlier than that Catholics canonized their 73 books. The Catholic view being the Bible is an artifact of the Church and not the other way around. I don't know much more about the Canon but I do trust in God. We live in troubling times and I hope every Christian out there is on their way to growing closer to God.
The first thing he has wrong is the book of Revelation was written before AD 70 for many reasons but the main one is if the book was written after the Temple was destroyed why on God's green earth wouldn't Paul have added that tremendous experience that was the end of the Jewish age we are now in the church age which is the kingdom of Christ we are supposed to be fulfilling the great commission and then when the fullness of the gentiles comes in the end will come their is know rapture but when Jesus returns the dead in Christ will rise first and then who remain will be caught up with the Lord and we will forever be with Him please there's way to much for me to explain but please people pay that the Holy Spirit teaches you and search the Scriptures for themselves please ‼️✝️🙏🫶
Don't even use the New Living Translation. Publishers had to make sure there is enough difference in the New Living Translation to be able to publish it. Therefore do not use NLT. Use King James Version only.
@@TiffShuttlesworth I hope more people use the King James Version as I hear that's the most accurate. So why do you stick to the New Living Translation? I hear that many people want to make their own version and speaking of that, Each Bible version must be quite different from the King James Version in order to be Published. As with me, I wish there weren't so many different versions. Didn't you hear that there is also Gay Bibles and then there are even Versions that never list or mention God's name! This is what irritates me.
Please hold on, you know that Enoch has existed, when they refer to him in the new testament it is because they heard of him in the old testament So went Hebrew refer to him He was refering to a book in the old testament, so they were referring it as scripture.
I only agree with the first Book of Enoch simply because it was quoted by Jesus and other Bible authors. I am very disappointed at the explanation you gave at the very beginning and I will admit I will not listen to the rest. You know this that Revelation 22:18,19 does not apply to the whole Bible but only to the book of Revelation. And if you would read the Bible with blinders off, you would learn that Jesus not only quoted Enoch in Matthew 22:29-30 but also rebuked the Sadducees for not knowing it. It is not wrong to admit that we don't know or understand everything, but it is wrong to deny facts just to prove that our point of view is right... The truth is that nobody knows everything about the Bible, the best thing to do is to ask the question; "Is this book absolutely necessary for salvation?" and the answer is no. But "does it proves and agrees with the the Bible?" and the answer is yes.
I wonder how the Mormons feel about this... because they have a whole other BOOK. talking about not adding to the Bible. Yeesh 😳 And im ex mormon (praise God!!)

@@georgeteo8797, NO mention of Enoch in Mathew 22 VS. 29 ,30. ---
Brother Tiff and my Pastor at church are my 2 trusted teachers /preachers of Gods Word ! God Bless you !!
Pastor Tiff, thanks for your teaching on this. The clarification of this truth of will set believers free.
Wow! I have written this down almost word for word. I needed this. So many people argue this one. Thank you. May our Precious Father bless you in your ministry in Jesus Name. Amen. I am from SA.
Above comment book of Enoch not inspired scripture. So should not be ibible
I tried reading enoch and then got to a part where it said to ascribe all sin to a fallen angel. Said "nope" and put it away.
That’s why God didn’t inspire anyone to write and add it. This is not at all from those who were inspired to write. It is a different belief so it is a false doctrine.
Did not sin come from a fallen angel though? He was cast because of his wicked ways
@Onegun-gt4df That's basically saying you can blame satan for all our choices. I don't agree with that. Everybody is responsible for their own decisions
Thank you and god bless you
Where is the book of Enoch, I want to listen
Wow!! This answers so much, cause I've been wondering about this for awhile!!
🙏🏼Thank God for you♥️😇
This guy is wrong.....all books should be taught ,he's right they should not have taken out all the other books and put in what they wanted us to know, God gave us free will to decide what we want to know to be truth.....so I disagree with his teaching .
Thank you Sir..pastors need to telling the people the Truth.
Loved this teaching.
Thank you Evangelist Tiff for helping me understand this
Actually, I don't think this was so clear.
Thank you for sharing looking forward to hearing you address the other questions!
I have been thinking about this for a few days it will be good for me to learn about this.
I just love this study. Thank you so much Evangelist Tiff
Adding to or removing from “this book” means the book of revelation??
ADDING or RREMOVING any part of the BIBLE. Not just REVELATION.
@@priscilla.colburn444 Actually there was no Bible (as we know it) at the time Revelation was written. It's talking about the book itself.
@@arockalypsgaming this is how I would read it, however, I’m in no position to add or remove anything from any part of the Bible, let alone the Book of Revelation
@@aussielen3285 Yeah me either. I didn't create the Universe so I have no say about what's in it
As I mentioned in the teaching.
Beautiful...thank you! Books were taken out of the Bible in ca. 1850...very sad! They still are missing to this day...
Thank you sir for this teaching, it has been very helpful.
Blessings All ✨. Great Bible study 📖👈... Amen
Excellent teaching , a child can understand! Do you have a list of acceptable books such as josephus?
I said the pray wit u at the ending

So the social media prophets who say they have a word from the Lord, are they adding to the word? Does it make it an open canon of scripture?
God bless you all!
Ive read Enoch.. out of study and curiosity.. however i knew in my spirit and the holyghost that i was not inspired by God.. itching ears beware,, 👂
I have a series on Angels on my UA-cam Channel.
Read what Michael Heiser has to say about this! He has passed away but his work is still prevalent ✝️🙏🫶
Right on.
I've always felt that the Holy Spirit was warning me against reading it.
I just wanted to hear an opinion from a Bible scholar that I trust.
Thank you!
Thank you pastor for teaching this. I hared about the book of enoch you cleared up some things for me thank you so much now I can let others kn .
1 cornthians 14:35 and if they learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home; for it is shameful for a woman to speak in the church.
And 1 Timothy 2:11-12 when you're not in church
This was interesting, thanks. Didn't know much about the "book(s)" of Enoch.
It's crazy not saying that it's not true or false that's for you to decern
Yes, they were by God.
🙏❤🎉
Should you even be asking this question? Read Revelation 22:18 and ask yourself that question Sir.
“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:”
Revelation 22:18 KJV
I really don’t know why they waste so much time speculating and doing this. Jesus Christ did not make mention of anything in the book of Enoch or the apocrypha. He did not teach more than what the Bible teaches.
Thank you for your excellent teaching.
Could you possibly describe what living a Holy life looks like?
My belief is that when we repent of our sins and truly trust God for our salvation...having the pure faith of a little child...telling and sharing with others about God's love in a loving, caring way, we actually become new creatures. We put the old "human" away and we become new humans. It's just like the Good Book says "My sheep hear my voice", and we do hear Him speak to us. He gives us the assurance that He is truly with us...we can't see Him; we can't hear Him; and we can't touch him in the natural state of man, but we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that He is with us! "Trust and obey...there is no other way!"
Amen! I am Dinold Changalwa
❤Amen Brother Tiff. I. Understand and I told agree with what God said in my Bible. The New Living Translation .🎉❤😅😊.
Where did the book of ENOCH come from.
I went further in the video, if it is mention in the new testament what were they referring to when talking of Enoch if not The book of Enoch
Thank you! - perfectly clarified!!
Brother Tiff, I admire your biblical knowledge so much. I am much older than you. This is what I think when I, sometimes, read disagreeing comments on your lectures. The people that disagree with you know that you are correct in your teachings, but some of them have things that tug at their hearts...things like their progeny; past sins; or some other worldly situation. They know you are right but their selfish hearts won't let them accept that you are a true man of God and correct. Also, please keep my sweet husband in your prayers. I have been praying for his salvation for almost 43 years...the full length of our marriage.

Wonderful explanation simple and true
I've been hoping you would cover this! I've kind of seen both sides of it. I always figured it's interesting, but stick with what God preserved in the Bible
The passage from revelations doesn’t apply and is taken out of context, The contents of the bible that millions of people read was decided by a few men, pages out of Enoch were found with the Dead Sea scrolls, I encourage all to read it when paired with the Bible it can help strengthen faith…
Wow . I’ve been wanting to read the book of Enoch.but for some reason I never get to it. What about the other 14 books they were taken out?
I don't know what you believe but I know this message is fantastic and people should listen to It.

MY BRO , my daughter in love , found a Bible dated 1800 on eBay and purchased it. It has all the books of the Bible in it that were not included in the Bible as we know it. It is very interesting ,,
There are 66 books in the Bible. The original manuscripts predate 1800.
It sounds like you have a Roman Catholic bible, with the apocrypha. You can find the same bible today.
The Curse would apply to The Book of Mormon as well in Adding Scripture
I give my life back to God I need a good Bible
I have and read the 1st book of Enoch and the book od Jasher but I waited till I had been a follower of Christ for over 40yrs. I was curious what it was like in the days of Noah. I know it's not inspired of God and Enoch didn't write it all. Just read it for a bit of history.
Read Jude verse 14 in your Bible it said there were prophecies written by Enoch
@@TIDavidAWhich "Enoch"? There were 2 in the Old Testament.
@@BradleyBellwether-oy2qi Enoch from Noah's day
My question why the apostle mentioned his name ?.
Because Enoch was well known in Jewish 1st century culture. Enoch was a real person, he was not however the author of the book of Enoch.

Ok

I’m proud of you Cindy! As you are able, listen to our “I just got saved” playlist on YT. 🙏🏼
Thank you Sir for confirmation. I wish a lot of those brothers who tried to bring up this book for any stupid reason would watch this and understand. It’s simply is foolish to try to make someone believe false doctrine.
What Color Was God?
That is simply not true.
It is part of biblical time.

Please hold on, you know that Enoch has existed,
when they refer to him in the new testament it is
because they heard of him in the old testament
So went Hebrew refer to him He was refering to a
book in the old testament, so they were referring
it as scripture.
People are afraid of the Book of Enoch,
NO!!!!!!!!!!
Has God ever changed his mind?
I only agree with the first Book of Enoch simply because it was quoted by Jesus and other Bible authors. I am very disappointed at the explanation you gave at the very beginning and I will admit I will not listen to the rest. You know this that Revelation 22:18,19 does not apply to the whole Bible but only to the book of Revelation. At the time the Book of Revelation was written the Bible was not in the form we see it now. You said it yourself The Bible is made of 66 books.

There where 14 books removed from the bible.
Some things from Enoch aren't contradictory to the Bible, plus Jude quotes it, so while it isn't a part of the Bible, some things might be useful.
I hold to Pauline authorship of Hebrews. Like David Alan Black.
Obviously not, or The Lord would have put it in there. It does, however, provide interesting information about the pre-flood world. I recommend it for reading, in it’s, separate from the Bible, context.
