Sounds like a computer problem. I'm guessing you have a newer car. Factory made to work that way for safety purposes. Deeper issue that can only be fixed by bypassing computer codes and I have no clue how that works. Ask mechanics around.
The simpliest way is just by an seatbelt extender. No mess, no fuss. Works with any vehicle. The seatbelt is what activates the chime when the seatbelt is unplugged or removed. DUH!!!
I can unplug the chime in less time it would take you to find and place an order for your seatbelt extender. Not only that but my way is 100% free. Additionally, the chime comes on for more reasons then just the seatbelt, especially in the Hyundai/Kia cars. Also, it’s spelled SIMPLEST, not SIMPLIEST. And BUY, not BY… DUH!!! 🔥🔥🔥
@@badass1gsorry but taking apart shit isn't easy and there's easier ways to do this Grammer Nazi. First u start in accessory mode and plug in and unplug seatbelt 5 times in the first 30 seconds and that disables it, also u can use an OBD2 scanner to program it out
This stupid thing doesnt even let me drive off without seat belt . So in an emergency situations swat belt or cant drive off..Stupid saftwy feature i just got the point i keep the seat belt attached
