Wow this looks amazing. I am so bummed we missed out on Myanmar when we were in SEA, but I hope we can get back there at some point! This video made me miss traveling that region so much - rusty old bikes and so much history!!

Correction: You may have been talking about the registered pagodas when you said 2,200 pagodas. According to the Burmese proverb, there are around 4446733 pagodas in Bagan if you count small pagodas as well.
yeah, unfortunately lots of them are disrupted by the Earthquakes and time
733 was only for rhyming some says and i side with them. So, 4446

I hired an e-bike in Bagan and it was the best thing I could have done. I saw so much on my 2 days exploring. My rental place included a helmet. I found it so esy to ride, you just had a break and a throttle handle, that was it. The problem with the normal bikes is the sand. I found the e-bike, with a little speed, would just glide over some of the rough sandy paths, but a normal bike would have got stuck!

that first pagoda u went to is best for sunrise at around 4 or 5 because the place is very clear

I stayed at the same hotel this summer!😂
I was born there and I was traveling with my family so we never had to pay the “foreigner fees”.
Thats one thing I noticed about Burma going back this summer, they always made foreigners pay so much more when the locals get free entrance in many attractions.

Yes. I am curious about the haze. Didn't see much in the way of industry. But thought it could be all the motored transportation, morning mist or just plain dust. It makes the scenery so pretty.

Safe but you must care when you climb on the pagodas because they are old. How must will cost? I don't know exactly. I think depend on your choices.

Whats the name the hotel u stayed in Bagan where it got AirCon and Hot water supply for US$40/Night. Ur video is very descriptive for any traveller who visit there for the first time.
