I passed my Class C Pre-Trip three years ago ENTIRELY due to watching this man’s excellent videos, and I JUST passed my Class B pre-trip inspection with flying colors just by memorizing this video. Thank you Jonathan!!!
Oh my goodness I just passed my class B with school bus and passenger endorsements in Massachusetts TODAY I cried I was so excited but woah your bus and pre trip is so different. We had cross over mirrors automatic doors all the bells and whistles everything door, amber lights, red lights and stop sign were controlled on the steering wheel! I’d love to drive a classic like this it looks so fun! 😊
Was the first person at my bus terminal to go thru the "new" federal DOT class B road test. Had to find my own methods, but its videos like these that helped me pass.
@@DC-ih8bv I passed !!! I have the license, class B but I need to do my fingerprints for my passengers endorsement but idk how to do that I believe I need a form or something like and then go to indigo for the prints
@@DC-ih8bv no the instructor was quiet. before you start your inspection he reads off of a form and explains that your doing a pre trip inspection basied on federal regulations and states that your to explain the bus thoroughly in and out to him so that why they'll know your knowledgeable about the vehicle you will be driving around on the road.
Not yet, but we're always looking for more franchisees if you know any *wink wink*. Otherwise come to our Linden or Jackson location for your quickest way for in person help.
What about the interior of the bus, the seats. windows, rear door, driver's area, and the most crucial part, the brake check? Does NJ not require any of this?
I just passed my cdl b it took some time 3times. But it was the pre trip that failed me. But I drive with no problems at all. I I can say mine was perfect and I'll do it again anywhere.
Went to the school. The field training is good but at times a bit of time to wait for instructor. They gave me as much time as I needed to review the bus and its parts. I passed first try. They should offer school bus training also since I trained on a bus but not considered a “school bus”. Now I have to take another road test AND another engine compartment test which is a pain. Haha .
@@CDLDrivingAcademy I just currently passed my general knowledge and air brakes test at the DMV Now I need to do my road skills test but I have nowhere to get the proper hands on hands training that I desire
Cannot be LESS than 4/32 in the front and no LESS than 2/32 in the rear. This video failed on that by saying no MORE than 4/32 and 2/32. Also it's tread, not thread. And bus tires can't be recaps up front, at least in NJ, which wasn't mentioned. This guy needs to go back to school before putting out bad information.
I don’t understand why they came up with this rule it’s so dumb.. people’s still can’t work or fix their own truck .. they need to teach peoples to work on their truck not name parts

Emmanuel Caarion just saw response. I am getting my B with air brakes and passenger endorsements. How was the pre trip ? Were they strict ?

Congrats on passing! We are happy to have helped!

im told the air brakes test is first, and once you pass that then you can move on to the inspection
Yes and carry the vehicle keys with you !,
When you suppose to start CDL classes next month but feel now you should go to mechanical school first🙄🤔🤯🧐🤦♀️💭
We will help you out with that
Just passed today 8/5/20 at Eatontown thank you so much
Nice! Aside from this knowledge video what else should someone do to pass?
I enjoy your videos man they definitely helped me on my cdl journey. Do you guys have a NY location for Driving Academy?

He's not giving the entire inspection...wants applicants to come & then they'll get the full in$pection! That's what I think.
just passed my road test with your instructions. sucks that i didn’t go to your school but i know you would of been great help
we wish you came with our school too. But congrats on passing your test
i appreciate the video bro really helpful 🥳

Yeah I had to pass. I been driving stick shift for too long now. I'm tired of it and automatic and I needed a new harder challenge and I did that.
Congrats Kojo!
Is this pre trip the same for the box truck?
Wow very good.. for class c if I have the permit, how much it will cost me for training?
If taking the test in Pennsylvania what's the address

We wish we could but only school bus companies can take their bus on the road
Does this apply to box trucks?
You don’t need CDL for a Box truck
