I shared your video with my classmates in hope they take whatever knowledge they can from your video! I want to personally thank you for helping me get a better future for my family and myself. God bless you and your family!! 🙏🏽 cheers 🍻
I took my class A test a decade ago. In Minnesota, in January. It was around 8 degrees and windy that morning. As a tree trimmer, I was in my element. My tester was not; she was a tiny little lady who was visibly shaking the entire duration of my pre trip, which she hurried me through. She couldn't wait to get in the warm truck and on the road. Not saying I wouldn't have passed in better weather, but I know for sure that the weather had some to do with me getting my CDL that day 😂
Thanks for creating this. Studying for pre trip and you definitely got like state examiner tester vibes when presenting this. Feel a lot more comfortable after watching this a few times just with your wording and well detail of all pre trip inspections. Thank you!

I bring that up now because while Im pre tripping or encouter issues- I literally quote that video and it helps me tremendously. So while it seems pointless and a measure to get your cdl; it truly can save your butt in the real world
@@falxadocadey3694it sounds difficult but the steps are very easy its just lots lots of memorizing and STUDYING. You should be a trucker making 50k+ within 3 months so its worth it.
@falxadocadey3694 what state are you in? You have to pay to go to truck driving school unless you can get a grant or a company like kllm will train you.
I just came back from Driving Academy in Linden New Jersey. First the staff working in the office were outstanding. They were so nice and kind to me. They were awesome. Next I went to the yard for training. I could not say enough about how great they were. They were excellent trainers and they give special attention to each and every student. I had been to two trucking schools and they were far more informative and helpful plus they were so very caring. I loved my time in New Jersey. Thank you bro, this was very helpful, Im studying the pre trip inspection but wasn't sure how to start or what to say. You made it all clear thank you again
go with this one guys. if you go off older videos, the dmv people don’t want to hear the extra stuff. they want you to focus on what’s hear and in your dmv packet.
DMV failed my friend the other day because he didn't explain the why we are learning each pre-trip inspection. For example: For the Windshield Defroster he explained WHAT he was inspecting, but he didn't explain the why. Ex: The defroster improves visibility, especially during cold weather. Use the new book from the DMV and definitely learn a little about why we are inspecting each section required for the Pre trip inspection
That's stupid. Here's my defroster and heater they work properly as you put your hands near the windshield and you feel heat coming out. Some of these people who are inspectors are really crazy. In the real world your going to turn on the defrost heat and it either works or it doesn't work.
Do you still have to talk about puddles on the ground and dripping fluid/ hoses and air lines? I see it is put on the updated pre-trip script but was not discussed in this video. Are There things mentioned on the new script that were missed here?
Yes you mention it right after your finish with you fluid levels you say no puddles under the truck and around my engine transmission my hoses and airlines are in good condition no fluid or air leaks
i think it would be a great idea to say everything exactly how you would at the dmv yourself, that way we can get used to to repeating what you’re saying
Some of the new fifth wheels have poly inserts, so they are NOT to be greased. The poly takes the place of it, on the plate. But, locking parts need to be lubricated.
