- A long video but a extensive look at everything I have found inspecting this tractor and what Im going to do to get it ready and what needs repair. Hope you enjoy the video. Sorry about the spot on the camera .
Little man is in the right colors
That's a great looking 140 Matt. You can tell it's never been abused.
Yeah it's not been hurt too bad. Needs a little TLC but overall not bad.
Awesome find man. That looks like a great father son project!
He's ready to get in it for sure
Really nice tractor Matt. Rhett is gonna have lots of fun with this one.
Yeah he's excited.
I don't think that tractor has seen a ton of field time. Im amazed it still has all the lights and a straight lift rod. Nice 140.
Yeah that lift rod amazed me how good it was. You sure don't see that very often. I've only seen one other that was like that and it was new old stock. Hope to get this tractor going soon and start using it.
It’s going to be a great tractor after you spend time on it !
Yeah. It needs a few little things. Hope to have to t going soon
Overall a good looking tractor. I look forward to seeing more videos on it! Those plow days sound fun- we don't have any around here.
Thanks 👍
Nice tractor. Would like to see a video on it plowing.
Should be plowing at our plowday in March
The 140s must be your favorites
Yeah but this one was a good deal and a good deal is a favorite of mine too lol.
She's a pretty nice machine, for sure. If you do switch it over, give me first crack at that generator!
Nice tractor. I'm positive the steering wheel cap is correct. I never seen a steering wheel cap with a silver "i." We've had lots of those tractors. From my 240, and we have 460s, 560s and 660s, as well as 350s and 450s without power steering, and the steering wheel caps always have a gold "i." The ones with power steering also have the gold "i" too but under the IH it also says " POWER STEERING." I have seen the gold "i"s get faded and they are to the point of almost being silver, though.
I'm currently restoring a 1960 Farmall 140. What brand tires did it have when it was new?
Firestone on the back and good years on the front
That's crazy! I think it may still the original Goodyears on the front. Why did they have both brands? I bought Firestones for the rear but the only Firestones for the front have the scalloped edge, loader tire. What are your thoughts?
HOW MUCH HP DOES A 1973 FARMALL 140 HAVE
22 ish
@@farmall51Thank you
How much did you buy it for
Farmall Mc 140 and 130 were Faster that the International. The Mc was a stronger tractor.
Does it run
