saludos te felicito por excelente trabajo me gusta como quedo pues yo también tengo un camaro 71 y también lo ise con my esposa y mys hijos en la florida y también soy de Puerto Rico que lo disfrutes mucho 👍👍👍👍👍
I installed 3 row aluminum radiator with built-in fans. I was told I have a bad head gasket, not sure where to proceed, considering if I open it up, that's a engine rebuild project.
I had this problem many years ago on my 88 iroc. I was missing the air dam or spoiler that sits kind of under the front under the radiator. Mine fell of or something. Took me 2 months to realize it was gone. Would easily overheat. Put a new in an never ran hot again.
More than a lot. 8f your I texas you gotta have it or it will overheat. I've owned several of those 3rd gens and it was an issue with those dams missing.
@@rtwriter4159 No problem man, you have a beautiful IROC, I'd hate to see it rust out, the floors and rocker panels are always first to rot out. I learned the hard way, sadly!
I believe it was advance auto. The thing is I reside in Puerto Rico and the stores here cater to an older car group. So I lucked out. Check them stateside they might have it. Good luck.

Gracias, es un placer arreglar este carro.
Put an after market fan controller. Also use 98 to 02 camaro fan assembly. It has a fan shroud. That and a large transmission cooler

I hear the lower radiator hose can cause the issue.
My iroc is the same ok driving in winter but over heats in summer
If the radiator is new, so it might be something else, probably thermostat and also make sure you have the air dam, that also helps a lot

Careful driving those f bodies in the rain and in humid climates, they'll rust out very quickly!
Thanks for the advice, I am concerned about that, and will try not to drive in the rain in the future.
