this is the backbone of every single wattpad story ever
Yessss. The After series 😂😂😂
@@user-tm27651 istg the other girl sounds just like molly 😂😂
This movie is just like a wattpad story, but 10 times better
This
YES, i read one book about the girl being a bet and i had major trust issues after that
I like how he's all "People have feelings, man!" and yet he was in on the whole thing from the start. Lol.
That's the irony lol
doesn't that technically mean he was the one who hook them up
Haley Scott If the irony meant he totally forgot, then I'll take it! Lol.
But I doubt it. After all, look what he plotted to do later on in the picture.
Smile892011 No, the fact that he said that shows how much of an asshole he is to his friend to pretend that he had no idea what was going on with the bet as if he wasn't in on it the entire time. That's the irony. He was being an asshole.
Smile8920
The blueprint for every Wattpad book ever 😂
This and ‘Three steps above heaven’
pygmalion would be the blueprint for every wattpad book ever 😂
So true
Factss
True
Her anger came out when she said "Am I a fucking bet??"... great acting!!!
jcr89 ikr, it echoed in the room
Corijuan Reese somehow I never liked abigail in psych maybe it's cause I wanted Shawn and jules to b together
Anyone in that situation would react that way.
that's not true. Not everyone put in that situation would be angry
Yessss I loved that
Usher literally looks the same now.
He doesn’t age
you may want to get your eyes checked
Amos Moses You may want to get your hate in check! 🙄
Adrenochrome
Bit more winkles under the eyes but that's pretty much it
coming here after seeing he’s all that and it can’t even compare with this movie. so iconic, and they just had to do a remake. if anything it just makes this movie look even better
That movie was so ridiculously horrible. This movie is kind of unrealistic too but at least it’s enjoyable and good acting
Yes!! I watched the original movie afterwards and I can honestly say he’s all that makes the original film look like a masterpiece 😂 even the whole storyline and acting was a lot more better in the original one
I saw it and thought it was okay although IMO anyway they made the guy too effeminate so the plot could work which was weird to me anyway
the only good she's all that remake is not another teen movie, He's all that can rot in a hole ahahah
That couldn't be more true. This movie was never one of my favorites. But it had heart and charm. So many teen romance movies especially Netflix ones lack that.
The background actors really sell this seen. Watch how everyone stops to listen. That really happens in high school.
I noticed that too , it was a nice touch
That happens most everywhere
@YoungBlood There have just been too many movies where the background characters don't respond to even more than that.
That scene happens in every movie targeted towards teens it seems like.
Yes in he’s all that the new movie they just say it and it doesn’t hold the same resonance because no one really cares
I never appreciated her beauty before, but she has doll-like features
which is what made it hard to believe the "Oh she so ugly" sections of the movie. even the hair that looks like a wig and the glasses she was absolutely adorable.
@@Shiirow They're never gonna cast a legit ugly person for these movies. For one it's kinda fucked up. So they're always gonna cast a beautiful person and just pretend like anyone would ever think they're ugly for the sake of the plot.
@@Shiirow I think she was just someone everyone didn't like I don't think they ever said she was ugly
Ser Bronn of the Blackwater has thé perfect articulation for that sweetheart...
@@demigodcapmexica3283 Yeah pretty much the whole idea was that she was nerdy and weird because she was an outcast who had 1 friend, not necessarily about looks because she wasn't ugly at any point in the film.
“PeOPLE HaVe FeEliNgS MaN” 😂smh
He's a hypocrite.
@@inouskehashibira1045 Exactly ! This hypocrite smile when he knows he fucked up his friend !
Hannah 💀
Mike Spector Lol he’s such a douche.
This is fucking hilarious holy shit
see, this is what real acting is. i can't believe they made a remake of this movie with a bunch of tik tokers, i am still in disbelief.
There was only a few TikTokers lol not defending the movie but it's not full of TikTokers
IT WAS CRAP
Ikr???? It was torture to watch all of it
the worst part is most of the actors are real actors. addison is the only tik toker in it
@@justintrujillo8483 there's at least one other TikToker in this. Bryce, I think. But yeah...😑
Just watched the remake, sorry but nothing compares to the original. This movie was iconic
I said the same thing
I really felt this one but the remake, I felt nothing
the original was horrible and felt rushed. the two had absolutely no chemistry and then ur supposed to tell me he just fell for her?
@@444sira I think them opening up about their struggles at home was what made it believable. Zach had 0 direction in his life so Laney helped him realize that he cant walk away from his decisions. Laney constantly self sabotaged herself in fear of being ridiculed, and Zach opened her up to new experiences. It was clear that they *need* each other, not just *want* each other. Not to mention they're both rather sarcastic people, and it was fun seeing them interact in a way that we havent seen Zach with any of his other friends.
That's an understatement. He's all that was the worst movie I've ever seen, even if it was a standalone idk what they were thinking when they made it it's so bad
I really love how friendly and supportive Gabrielle Union's character was to Laney in this movie!! She got tired of Taylor's bs and proved that mean girls really can change.
YES!
Yes loved her
made a change from her character in 10 things i hate about you
Yeah same here!
am I the only one who thinks she looked better before the make over ? .
like come on , she was already gorgeous , her features are insanely beautiful.
But but but... the glasses... and the pony tail! And...ugh she even had paint on her jeans
Long hair any day
@@Chugargonfan 10/10 for that reference lol
you're not. she looked better before the makeover.
@Ksenia Reyes Not another teen movie lol classic parody movie
Freddie's face after after she cussed him out tho xx Lol
R.I.P Paul ❤

A colonoscopy is way better than any part of He's All That.
@@brandonp.6051 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭
He's All That was not too bad for the context and era. I liked the personality and back story of the guy whose name I forgot lol
@@brandonp.6051 holy shit damn lol
i love it when PG13 movies use their one F bomb wisely
i know. i remember that! when they could only say it once lol. it really made the part stand out
there was actually 2 f bombs in this film. if im not mistaken pg 13 movies have a max of 2 f words. in this case, one was in the locker room scene where zack got mad at dean for talking about laney and then this scene.
Where "After" got its insipration from.
was thinking the exact same thing! Cruel Intentions isn't too far behind either
way wrong. They're very different.
@@cameronsheda4178 yeah cruel intentions is the same concept basically.
@@cameronsheda4178 both of them were bets. In that way it's the same, they made a bet on a girl, and they fell in love with them
Yeah, but at least the older movies like this cruel intentions and 10 things I hate about you had something to go off of. Interesting characters, actual archs in characters, growth, etc. After is basically porn for teenagers, and then they argue, and then it’s done. Plus, he brought his friends the mattress where he took her virginity as proof she popped her cherry, and he also stole he underwear and shit, etc. it’s fucking abusive and gtoss
Man, my heart broke for Laney and Zach in this scene.
Laney’s pain was obvious and justified but Zach realizing he’s fallen for her and that honesty and sincerity in his response was just… man.
What a great bit of acting from everyone involved.
He’s All That could never compete scene for scene with this movie.
Zach had this genuine quality that Addison Rae’s character never did. Her character was an influencer that was incredibly obsessed with how she was perceived but Zach knew he was the big man on campus with real heart to him.
Laney was never as miserable and pretentious as Cameron was. You could easily sympathize with her struggles of opening her heart up to others.
That movie COULD of had potential, if it was about shedding his "not like other boys" mentality, that is running rampant these days among both sexes
@@antithoughtpolice7497sorry but what do you mean by that?
I love how Tanner said the same thing in the remake "He's All That"
Eh close to it.
It doesn’t hit the same way.
This scene in the remake is SO BLAND
lmaoooo paul was so annoying in this scene
R.i.p
But yet, still hot. R.I.P Pablo
Jae Lo Pablo?! 😂😂😂
Pablo is Paul in Spanish.
You're just mad you are uglier than him. The script says for him to act that way.
I love Paul's voice 😂
loveharrydaily same!
loveharrydaily 😂
loveharrydaily he looks so young
Me too its so soothing sensual
Dude grew a mullet in two years.
"Prinze was so affected by not understanding how one person could treat another so cruelly that in the scene where Laney finds out she was nothing more than the subject of a bet, Prinze broke down and cried afterward.
"He was devastated, he was really emotionally overwrought for about a half-hour afterward," says "She's All That" director Robert Iscove, who adds that Prinze "brings honesty and integrity to anything he does."
Prinze was consoled after the scene by his girlfriend of three years, Kimberly McCullough, of ABC's "General Hospital."
It’s actually so cruel how these rich spoiled kids who are probably going to a good college decide because they’re so bored to fuck with someone who hasn’t done shit to them and has no effect and they’re lives whatsoever. And nowadays with social media the bullying and cruelty is only worse shame we have to live in this world because it’s fucked up.
Oh Freddie my darling, so sweet! ❤️
+liam holloway This world has people like you, and thats what counts most, and human nature has to be overcome, these kind of people are mocked in all forms of human expression, movies, art, literature, remember that, its a wonderful world, see the good, theres lots of justice, this movie is to mock real life spoiled rich kids and show true heart.
Freddie always gave me a very sweet and genuine vibe. That doesn't surprise me !
Yea real talk, I always felt like He was a good representation of The Good Guy
I see some similarities between this and the He's All That remake, but this gave me chills
Yeah. It’s basically the same movie, but there’s a genderbend
I can't see it I don't have Netflix
The line "am i a bet" execution by the actors are more powerful and better than the whole "he's all that"
Rachel Leigh Cook is gorgeous!
She’s a total down to earth babe. I’ve watched nearly all her movies even the early 1990s ones she is great in so many. The bumblebee flies anyway is a hidden gem she’s great in that
*liam holloway* what about THE BABYSITTERS CLUB?
Jodi Lyn o'keefe is georgeous, Rachael is just sweet
She's ugly.
@bee boo this might blow your mind but: different people find different things attractive !!! hope i didnt blow ur mind too much x
3:01 I never forget that scene, miss you Paul! :-(
Tom Tommler right there tht look is O'Connor
Don’t you mean Brian earl spilner the serial killer
Tom Tommler o
My favorite scene
I love the whole exchange around 2:00 to 2:05
Mostly because of how Zack’s face goes from confused to silent rage after Dean says, “You gotta stop this whole bet thing”.
It’s like his face just screams _“Oh _*_no_*_ the fuck you didn’t..”_
It's strange how we get one of the most likable guys in the world to have play one of the most douchey characters of the 90s. Paul was a blessed actor and a humble human being
Am I a FUCKING BET
Zak nervously: Yes
i find it hilarious that he just goes "yes," doesn't even try to tell her that he's head over heels for her
edit: too many people explaining why he did what he did, i know why he just said yes. stop explaining. it was a joke
Head over heels 😂 FPJ was in that too
I appreciate that moment for his honesty and that he didn't try to sugarcoat it or anything. It is what it is.
@@Marilyn2401 it's one in which these days wouldn't happen.
It’s because he knew professing his love for her at that time would only hurt the situation more. The truth was she was a bet, he fell for her after that.
That's somehow realistic, sometimes people really don't know what to say
POV: You’re here after watching the He’s All That trailer
Yep lol 😂
Hahaha!
Stop being absolutely correct
She has such beautiful eyes wtf

It’s so funny the mean girl is Jo from TVD and that the actress Rachel (laney) was married to the guy who played Elijah. Ugh. Makes this even better lol!

Yes! She reprised her role in Legacies
Bahahaha 3:02 his smirk 😂 best part of this scene.
Who's here after the new Netflix remake? Loved that one, too, but this will forever be classic! One of the best teen films of the late 90s.
you love the new version?
I guess if you really like a girl you will tell the truth, no matter how painful it is
I rather not hear the truth
God, look at how young all of them look, this makes me feel so damn old 😕
Did not realize how far actual acting goes until the remake 😭🤚🏽
he’s all that could literally never
"Oh come on hun' in the name of sportsmanship"
2:30 that expression is all real. I still can feel her fury
I was very impressed with her acting and how she very quietly, almost whispers the question of if it 's true that she is a bet before she becomes more intense and forceful and yells at him.
Method acting, probably.
Pov : your here after watching the trailer too the remake he's all that but its nothing compared too the orginal
I'll tell ya, the way she delivered "f*cking" deserved an Academy. There were far weaker performances that took home Oscar.
Freddie's beautiful face at 2:39. 💕💕💕💕💕I pulled this clip just so I could see it. Still gives me chills. Tooooooooo gorgeous.
lexi ozlee he was Fred in Scooby Doo and married Sarah Michelle Gellar after the movie came out
Why would zack think that laney is going to the prom with him when he didn't even ask her

so crazy how many of the trendy teen clothes rn are coming from the 90s. I’m a huge fanatic of fashion and it’s so much fun seeing things repeat themselves or being influence from different eras and ethnicities, too!

why I never find this movie?! It's great I'm so inlove😘💘 aw I'm too late ...Zach and Laney is a cute couple
Because you’re probably young and they don’t show these kind of movies on tv much. They just show the same ones over and over again. Son many good cheesey 90 early 2000 teen movies and pretty much every actor of that time started with another at some point in a movie
I have it on VHS want to borrow it? Lol
You can watch it with cinemay, it's a website
TVD if no one gets this IMA CRY
I KNEW THAT WAS JO I KNEW IT AWWW 😭😭
Vicki Greene it’s JO😭
Fun fact: Rachel Leigh Cook was married to the guy who played Elijah. Cant remember his name right now...
JOOOOOOOO!!!!!
@@cmt89497 it's Daniel Gillies
Idk why i still loved Paul's character
I love the fact that Zach was talking about the bet at the beginning because of jealousy. he really wanted to believe Taylor is replaceble. and then, when Taylor is all his, he actually understands that he wants somebody else even though he got what he wished for at the beginning. she puts her hand on his chest and he understands that it doesn't do it for him anymore, and even though he was talking out of jealousy, he actually was right. Taylor was replaceble, he just didn't know it
When you see this movie and u are like"Wow,this movie it's so good!"
And then you see"He's all that"

This was my ultimate movie when I was in high. Freddie was fresh in this movie
“Am I FUCKING BET!”
That line was so crisp and strong I felt it 😳
This is the movie which started that bet things

Dean was a classic backstabber friend Paul Walker did an awesome job
Nice to see Usher, Freddie and Paul all young and alive. Good movie too.

I watched this film for the first time, and recognized the variation of a past film: Zack as Professor Henry Higgins; Laney as Eliza Doolittle. Anyone care to make a guess?
So this is really the original movie but there’s a remake now in 2021 called “HE’S ALL THAT”.

Look who talks about feelings.
I can't believe this Teen Classic came out 25 years ago! It was so emblematic of the Late Nineties! One great feature of She's All That was it had no darkness. No one needed to be killed or maimed, except for Dean's temporary hearing loss, in order for this movie to generate such massive appeal.
I do not think there will be another teen movie that will be this positive and captivating as this one ever again. She's All That was the last great movie in which both Rachael Leigh Cook and Freddie Prinze Jr. were stars. That is how impactful this Teen Epic was.
