I was in the boy scouts when I was 10 years old. There is no building like this near the camping. We were always camping near the seaside and we weren't afraid of the animals. Because if you are friendly to them. They will also friendly to you. This is what they teaching when you go to boy scout. It was a good time. I just remember it. And also we don't have this kind of technology things at that time. we don't have a mobile phone the call, someone. We had a campfire. So That's a better way to learn. If you are going to nature. You must learn everything to survive. Thank you for share it, Matt.

My experience camping with an American was in the outskirts of Austin, near some cattle farm. The plan was to tip some cows and pick some srooms but we woke up too late.
Looked like a great time. My question is can you find more secluded or private or forested camp locations in China. I am personally much more a fan of the ten in the woods with some privacy, always found that more relaxing than the field party. Maybe I am biased I have worked as a park ranger for years here in Michigan.

That feels more like a picnic than a camping to me lol
Asian in general don't believe in camping, especially the older generations and that's because majority of Asia are under developed back then. They know what is like to sleep on a hard wooden bed or on the hard floor, lack of electricity, the whole community shared one tv, they know what is like to step out of the wooden house and you can pick all the tropical fruits you can eat, kids play outside all year round and the best time is when it rains, they fished and swim in the lakes or rivers. So they don't really understand the concept of camping because they are literally " camping" most of their life, that's why they preferred a hotel room then a tent.
What a camping trip? Camping trips during my time as compared to present times is entitely different....More adventurous and daring during my times....
Camping, Chinese style, too comfortable. Bring everythings except the kitchen sink.
My wife would prepare the same way. lol
Anny is not camping, she is cooking away from home and a little show off, but as long as she is happy, happy wife happy life, and you need to remind her not to stress herself.

How is this camping different from the camping you have been on?
I live in Miami Florida and I have camped in the Key West with my family before. At least from my own experience, I was a lot closer to nature, and more isolated like you mentioned in the other video. But to be fair, the culture of camping in the US has definitely been developed for decades ago, and that’s why the facilities/sites for camping in the US are very well-developed in many state parks/national parks. While in China, people didn’t even have tents in China back then, or they didn’t even think camping with a family was a thing lol. But now I’m curious about whether camping in other Asian countries is more similar to the US or to China?

My parents NEVER camped.....NOPE NO way! My brother and I did in Boy Scouts and later in life.
Over- preparation, that’s one of the old traditional culture of China.the old generation like to teach their kids to prepare more /earlier, less accidents .

Western Camping Style = Put everything you need in bag and go lets take on the nature
As someone who probably has done lots of campings, do you have a preference over glamping or old school campings?
When I was in ningbo the elevator dropped a few floors on the 20 floor I almost shit my pants when I came back they had shut it down and changed all the cables my son thought it was funny because he is used to it well not me lol

The voices of America is accompany only for outside of USA . Matt probably has never listen to it . They have mandarin and English version, the real intention is output their ideology to Chinese, and it works . Influenced a lot of Chinese from 1980s --now. The mandarin version was Taiwan accent , you know :) New York Times as well
