- The Crew took advantage of the Mid Autumn holiday break to visit a beautiful resort in the bamboo forest laden mountains of Ninghai, China. A couple days full of horses, amazing Chinese food, beautiful landscapes, and lots of things to keep Eva occupied.

I completely understand your predicament Matt. Loved your old stuff but now you are just putting out fluff. I've spent a lot of time in China during the last 20 years so I know you have to be very careful to protect your family. My advice to you is to get out of China before you slip up and get your fairy tale destroyed. Peace!

WOW! What a great video. This one hits on all cylinders. Some real gems in here. I liked the cooking show concept. Annie says about adding green onions, "If you add the green onions, it's better for the color." And she's right, the artistic approach of China..
I like this place! Some of the childhood things I did horseback riding and ceramics ( had to do the stall cleaning before I got to ride )next time a trail? Anny needs to try the ceramics again her face looked like she liked it!

Zhejiang in general is beautiful. Ningbo's well and good, but you have to go to the countryside.
Ningbo used to be my secret place to chill when I want to escape Shanghai for a while...now is known by people 😔

Eva is so cuuute! I sometimes wonder when a kid is so little how she could distinguish the two languages. When you said say thank you to the driver she instantly goes "xiexie" cuz she knows she should speak chinese to the guy which is so cool.

Those small black flies are much worse than mosquitoes, they are barely visible and they bite people very hard.

A very fancy resort hotel. You can recommend to the hotel to raise an army of dragonflies to eat up the mosquitoes.
I looked up the Chinese name of this resort hotel. It is called 宁海 (Ninghai) 安岚 (Anlan) Hotel.
Don't know what its English name "Chedi" came from, but in Shanghai and maybe Ningbo, "taxi" is known as "Chede".
The coordinates of the hotel pool on Google map satellite view are 29.404377,121.323609

Then SARS and COVID 19 first reported in China... Japanese meningitis, Middle East respiratory syndrome, and too many to count in sub-Sahara Africa ...So why don't you tell us why?
