Great video. Is it possible to bind 2 different drones to the e8 controller at the same time? For example have a tinyhawk bound to the e8 and fly it around. Then land. Turn on a nanohawk that's also bound to the controller. And start flying without having to bind again or without problems?
You’re fine. Welcome to the hobby. So you can bind any Frsky D8 or D16 compatible whoops. You will have to change the protocol to D8 or D16 in Betaflight to bind with whatever your E8 is set to. I believe by default it’s D8.
I'm trying this right now with a bnf meteor65 frsky to my E8 radio transmitter. And I cannot figure it out. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

You have to make sure that your quad and radio are in the correct mode, ie D8 or D16. They have to match. You can swap modes in Betaflight under the receiver tab.
Hello, I am trying to bind my a Babyhawk 2 O3 ELRS with the Zorro ELRS version. The red light on the receiver is solid and the Zorro even tells me that telemetry is on or when I dosconnect the battery that it's lost. So somehow I think it should be binded. But I can't arm the drone. Also Zorro does not do anything in Betaflight. Bars don't move. It's just like it is not their. I am actually sure that I updated the Zorro correctly (ExpressLRS) and I also think that I flasehd the Babyhawk correctly. I am trying for over one week now and I do not have any idea how to proceed :/ Can anybody help?
This is not really pertaining to this video. Any who, check out my video on how to use a bind phrase with ELRS. Makes things sooo much easier. ua-cam.com/video/ptwg6arf-2s/v-deo.html Hope this helps.
I don’t currently, but I did previously have an Emax Buzz that would work. You just have to be careful with the newer Frsky Xm+ receivers. Most of them ship with newer firmware that makes them not compatible with this radio out of the box. They would have to be downgraded. The Emax Babyhawk 2 3.5” and Happymodel Crux35 (check out my videos on them) come with D8 receiver options that would work. I can’t recommend the Crux35 enough.

Hey That was a great video. I lost my tiny hawk 3 and now I have a FPV kit without a drone. I order the geprc smart 16 with a AC900 receiver to bind it with my EMax E8 transmitter. Right now the problem that I have is that drone and the transmitter bind but nothing is working. Even when I connect the drone to Betaflight the transmitter is no showing on at all. Could you help me figure out what is wrong with it or what Im doing wrong.
Thank you! By default, the E8 transmitter is in D8 mode. You will have to put in D16 mode to bind with the AC900 rx. Press the power switch and the “L2-” button at the same time: turn on and enter D16 mode, then the mode indicator light will turn solid green. If the AC900 is in D16(frsky) mode, you should now be able to bind it. The AC900 also does Futaba, which you don't want to bind to the Emax transmitter.
@@TitanFPV The drone and the transmitter are bind 👍🏾. But the problem that I’m having now is that nothing work. They are bind together but the drone doesn’t do anything
Yeah, the Frsky version does come with the XM+, so you should be good. You’ll have to put in D16 mode: press the power switch and the “L2-” button at the same time: turn on and enter D16 mode, then the mode indicator light will turn solid green. this transmitter is NOT COMPATIBLE with any d8 /d16 receiver, and EVEN IF there was one compatible, you would need a better transmitter to 'fine tune ' and flash proper firmware to it before you can use it with this transmitter.
Pretty much anything that has a D8/ D16 receiver. Emax has several quads that would pair well with this. The Tinyhawk Freestyle II and Tinyhawk 3 are good choices.

Do you have a 4 or 5 inch freestyle drone that works on this radio? Which do you recommend?

In the future I will buy another radio. But at first, can I connect this radio to a Nazgul5 drone with Frsky R-xsr receiver?

Make sure your channel mapping in Betaflight is correct.
Hey man I was wondering if this transmitter would connect with the emax buzz
If you have the Xm+ version, then yes!

@@TitanFPV ok thank you that was very helpful
I'm on configuration 10.8.0and firmware 4.2.9 the frsky_bind didn't work
Also the modes is very hard see I couldn't really see what you did
In the 10.8.0 Configurator, there is a bind button at the bottom of the receiver tab.
can it make any FPV drone and whitch reciver do u use?
Frsky D8 or D16 rx. So Xm, Xm+, rxsr, and Frsky spi rx will all work.
Will this controller work for the hawk pro?
It will in D16 mode.

Will this transmitter work with spi frsky?
Yes. That’s what the quad in the video has on board.
What goggles did u use
I have HDO2s with a Fusion module. You can use any analog goggle though.
If I get this controller what drones can I bind it to
