How to procedurally place holding edges in Blender using Bevel.

  • When modeling with subdivision surfaces in any modeler, it is common to use extra edges to hold the shape of sharp corners and edges. This is usually done manually but you can do this procedurally with the Bevel operation and a few key settings.
