Nice tune..musically and lyrically...Video is very unique..way cool......Is there a reason that the name Povak is so distinguishable at the 3:25 mark.....I like that the character eventually turns around at the end of the video and goes after whoever it is that he seems to be intrigued with........This is a very creative piece of work....How did you come up with all these ideas?

Hi Ross, thank you for listening. As far as the idea for the song is concerned, the chord structure and vocal was achieved in around five minutes. I was in the studio late at night playing a Stratocaster and it just all kind of spewed out of me pretty much fully formed, it's like that sometimes. I knew instantly that it was a strong song. There's a stripped down version of me performing this on my channel.
The video is from a guy in Hollywood called Alberto Mieglo, which is a lot longer. I approached him and used a bunch of clips to mirror the song, which I think it does rather well. Everything was edited by myself in Davinci Resolve, which was no easy job.
The music production was done in Cubase Pro using SSL and Neve hardware and a Telefunken TF47 microphone alongside synth software like Arturia etc. I never really have a clear idea what direction the idea will go, I just hear things as I'm producing it, a bit like painting a picture.
