I have the Eastman 59SB Les Paul and it’s my favourite Les Paul. It looks like a 59 Gibson burst and plays better than Gibson Les Paul Standard. It’s insane how good these guitars are. Also, got mine second hand, they don’t retain value like a Gibson but damn they play so much better

Squier guitars not for professionals? I have seen Jeff Healey live playing a black Strat by Squier and Mike Rutherford played Squier Strats too on the last Genesis tour! I have a red Squier Strat from 1989 made in USA that I like very much...and I just bought the Jazzmaster XII in Fiesta red and it is a pretty cool guitar. The neck look like a regular six string electric and I would have like a larger neck to have more space between the strings (like an acoustic 12 strings) because the neck is pretty narrow for a twelve strings and for somebody with big fingers (mines are OK) it could be difficult to play this thing.

Thanks for the honest review. This is exactly what I’m looking for because I have similar taste in gear. It’s funny, there are electronics and setup issues that others have described, yet everyone still loves this thing. I’d have to get over Squire logo.

good beat, emotive & heartfelt lyrics

I have one and it really is a phenomenal guitar. At any price. I just so happens to be cheap. It is rare to find a 12 string that will intonate that well. The pickups are pretty hot. So, it will not sound like the weak output that you get form a Rickenbacker. That isn't a good or bad thing but I do have to reset my amp setting going back and forth from my Rickenbacker. I tend to drive a fender amp harder with the Squier or gain up a Vox for the Rickenbacker.

Dude this is something to be proud of! I wish I had the skills to turn my ideas into a completely produced song like this on my own. I would need to pay someone to help me get a recording anywhere near this level of quality. I think the people that suggested not mumbling or drawling or whatever do have a valid point depending on what your goals are. If you want to write commercial songs then maybe let the artist step back and consider what they are saying. But if this is part of you as the artist and you feel it in your guts, then lean into it! Either way man, AMAZING song.

Let's just face it; there are other manufacturers than Gibson! Eastman is made by a professional violinist who graduated from Boston University and then made Eastman Violins and guitars! Gibson is a fashion brand, like Rolex and Tag Heuer; it's all perception when you think about how they bamboozled people into buying their QC issue guitiars! yeah bamboozled by putting their CHIT in the hands of rock stars! Time to turn the television off so you can see the unveilings left and right and when you do, Eastman will be standing there with no mask on!

Absolute quality Benn. Your talents really shining through. My only criticisms before ( constructive , for what there worth lol) was some of the pronunciation of words in song could be harder for a wider world audience to uberstand, sometimes slurred slightly, and therefore hard for them to understand , engage, embrace, relate and sing along too. Your music, songwriting, voice etc are spot on . Really love this tho mate
