This video was exceptional. Thank you for visiting and showing Australia's indigenous culture. Sammy, you can definitely pull off those pants, and Tommy looks very handsome in the akubra hat. Love it when you travel with your parents too. Love you all. Your channel is the only travel we watch! Thank you 🦋🌈 Love from Australia 🇦🇺 ❤️
Your video really brought the beauty of the journey to life, from the historic train ride through lush landscapes to the incredible views from the Skyrail! 😍 Thanks for sharing these great tips and insights for planning a trip 💙✈
I now see how well Cairns has come along. I was there in 1972 and it still makes me proud to be a 5th generation Aussie. Thanks for your great video coverage and lovely family moments. Glad you had a memorable time. 50 years ago I hired a old fishing boat and cruised over the horizon to Green Island. Wow... memories flooding back. Cheers from Sydney.
That sounds like such a great time, we missed out on Green Island while we were there. Cairns has soo much to do and incredible nature on land and sea, loved it so much! Happy to bring back some memories 😊
Ha ha, I did feel for you Sammy .We did the sky rail both ways and 😅 I panicked the whole way up, coming back down was better tbh. - best day ever. We saw a Ulysses butterfly in the wild at the restaurant. Majestic creatures.
Hahaha it is not for the those with a fear of heights, I was so jumpy..it's lengthy too, I was happy for the breaks you could make along the way. Also, incredibly beautiful and so worth it! That's amazing that you got to see the butterfly 🦋
IDk if u guys will have time for it or want to do it but there is a bungie jumping place near James cook university that is great. they offer the traditional bungie jump but they also have like a big swing and a swing that's a little closer to the ground if u dont want to go so high up or jump. if u have jumped before u have options to use props while jumping such as they let u jump off with a dirt bike and it all takes place over a waterhole in the middle of the rainforest so its super pretty. the food is pretty nice too and not to far away is yorkies nob if you want to have some drinks and food on the fancier side.
The was some misinformation given by one of the guide books there, the D.U.C.K's were also used by the Australian Army all over the Pacific. I remember my dad telling us kids about the joint patrols he used to do with US Army troops on the island of Bouganville, using Australian D.U.C.K's in the swamps and mangroves.
😮A lot of Soldiers road those carriges during the 2nd world warto do their jungle training ,before heading to New Guinea my father included ,its beautiful..
Nice, you folks seem to be thoroughly enjoying yourselves and you are really nice people.
We really have been enjoying, happy to hear its coming through on video :)
