Curious as to the speed reduction necessary to achieve the maximum range of over 1500 nautical miles? If you’re going coast to coast, you may only stop once or twice for fuel, but you’ll be making several other stops for bathroom breaks especially if you have children or older adults on board. That said, it’s a beautiful plane, but I’ll stick with my Piper M350.
The Epic E1000 GX, like other aircraft, achieves its maximum range by optimizing various factors, including fuel efficiency and flight profile. The specific speed reduction required to achieve the maximum range can vary depending on the aircraft's performance capabilities and other factors such as weather conditions and payload. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to explore these variables further.
It's great that you have found the Piper M350 to be a suitable and enjoyable aircraft for your needs. If it meets your needs and you enjoy flying it, sticking with that beauty is an excellent decision.
@@AviationFederation thanks for responding. However, the manufacturer established a range of approximately 1590 nautical miles. They would know the cruising speed and altitude used to establish that range. It’s certainly less than maximum cruise. Most manufacturers make that information available but I could not find it for the epic E 1000 GX. That’s why I asked.
Where’s the toilet?
Unfortunately, it doesn't typically include a toilet onboard. Generally, smaller aircraft in this category, especially those focused on speed and performance, may not have the space or provisions for a restroom.
