It’s dope that you think of Timothy olyphant as this smoldering, edgy, tough guy through the movies but in reality he’s a charismatic, goofy, wholesome dad-type

While I was watching this, I had this thought "Why was there ever a period when I wasn't crazy about Tim?? I really liked him in things like Gone in 60 Secondsor Girl Next Door, I loved him in pretty much everythng since Justified, but in 2007 I was very meh about him After Die Hard 4 and Hitman. I realized, as talented an actor as he is, playing 100% serious roles just doesn't fit him. He has to be able to let at least some of his charisma and laid-backness seep into the role. Then you're just in love with the guy.

He really is witty and belly laughing funny. I can see why Conan would be friends with him. I would imagine Conan, meeting so many celebrities and being so funny, would have a lot more friendship applications than job openings if ya know what I mean.

i dont think thats rare so much as that they are genuine friends outside of the show, everyone is going to be cleverer and looser when they're talking with their friends, im sure lots of other stars are pretty clever and witty but it's hard to showcase when youre sleep deprived on a press junket in front of an audience (in the past anyways lol) with a job to do and a person you barely know
@@rachelrachel9152 This is just my opinion, but I don't think a majority of guests get real laughs from Conan. Even less that are as as good looking as Olyphant. He reminds me of Ryan Reynolds in that way. Olyphant is kind of a guy crush of mine.
They’re actually really close friends so the chemistry is real.
Timothy Olyphant has now joined the Bill Burr's and Jeff Goldblum's of the world as a top tier guest on this show for my money. Hilarious guy, especially with Conan.

When female celebs show up and reveal way more skin than him, they don't get comments about how dressed down they are. It's like men are supposed to cover up or else they get shamed, but women can freely show whatever

Timothy's sense of humor reminds me so much of Norm's; the bit about not interrupting Conan anymore only to do it the next sentence was a perfect example.
These are the types of interviews I hope Conan keeps doing on his new show. That and/or Timothy Olyphant gets his own talk show!
I hope for this too. I think these kind of interviews bring out the best in Conan.

Tim needs to be the co co host with Conan on his new show.
Tim is hilarious here, and so real. I met him in Culver City years ago. He was with his kids in a store, and I could tell that he’s genuinely a great, calm, caring guy.
He’s the only “celebrity” I think I would ever be tempted to say hello to if I saw him out and about. Seems like a genuinely great dude and has played characters that mean quite a bit to me.
He's also very hot!

I have said it before and will say it again, Timothy Olyphant is a national treasure.
I wish these two had their own podcast just talking about whatever they wanted. They are a perfect pairing.

Timothy Olyphant is extraordinarily good at making Conan's job easy. He's so funny and real and natural that Coco can sit back and enjoy, no effort needed. Great actor and guy.
Timothy and Flula are probably my favorite guests to come on Conan throughout his years. Paul Rudd is up there for constantly trolling Conan. But the way Timothy and Conan rib on each other makes their interviews some of my faves.
I want to be at the table next to these two at dinner some time. Being bitchy fathers and real friends.
Those guys are definitely contenders for the top 5 alongside Norm and Jeff Goldblum

Olyphant has always been one of my favorites and it is so neat to see what a cool and amiable person he is with his friends. He knew everyone around that set by name and had a smile for all of them.

Timothy makes himself a lot more approachable with his personality. I remember watching him in The Office thinking "Lord, this man is so gorgeous he must be a demi-god".

With the pandemic it was hard to enjoy talk shows without the audience, and their laughter but Tim and Con are fun, they did a great job. I enjoyed this.
I hope he comes back during the final 2 weeks. Conan has great chemistry with Tim. I also hope to see Flula Borg, Will Arnett, and Kevin Nealon as well.

Honestly if Conan just interviewed Timothy once a week for the rest of time I would tune in every week, they are brilliant together.
This is one of the most terrific episodes of Conan that I've ever seen. I laughed throughout the episode.
