    Nice day of work 🤘 Btw one suggestion about french panes with a loose frame like at the end of this video.. Try using one of those pressurized air-in-a-can cleaners that you use to clean keyboards. Wash the top, spray downward to get all the water from behind the frame, then continue down 👍 I hate those frames too. Especially the ones that you can't remove.
    Love the video, Steven!

      @Chrislon Smith I haven't personally started my own service/business but if you'd like my opinion... Transparency and politeness go further than price for a lot of customers. People seem to prefer hiring contractors that they feel they can trust and who is honest about the service they offer. And as for sometimes feeling like quitting or feeling like you just don't wanna do it... I love being a window cleaner, but I'm also a person who struggles with motivation sometimes. It's okay to not feel like working every now and then. If window cleaning makes you hate your life, then it isn't for you. But if you just don't feel motivated sometimes, that's totally normal. Best of luck to you!

    Glad you got some work coming in for ya, trying to find business during coronavirus is hard! Gonna have to start calling up some old customers and ask them if they want the outside only cleaning cause we lost like 80% of our commercial.

      @going4u2 4 роки тому

      We've been doing mostly exterior windows and explaining to our customers we can come back at a later date to complete the interiors. This seems to be working out well as most understand the situation. It also helps if you can take credit card over the phone or have an app setup to accept cc. Servicefusion is pretty good for this and scheduling your workload too.

    Just a tip for those who don't want to spend anything on a tool that helps take screens out Super easily. A butter knife. Used it for years. Never a problem. Gets into the corner without damaging or scratching any of the frames. Push the spring in on one side, slip the butter knife in on the other side and it pops out very easily this way. Just what I do. I know that it's not the only way by any means.

Also what is the pole you use that you can attach a squeegee or a mop to the end? Thanks so much for all the tips. I have been doing residential home cleaning since I. Was a kid and started my own business doing auto detailing and home cleaning!

    I’m obsessed with learning how to clean my own windows. I live in a very big farm house with 8 very big picture widows, some on the 2nd story. How do you suggest cleaning a big picture window where you couldn’t reach across the whole window in one fanning? Plus, I’m not super comfortable on a ladder but will do the 2 big windows up there on one.

    Does the resin just get too expensive over time? Im trying to get into window cleaning asap but my squeegee work isn’t perfect yet, i was thinking i could just go wfp and skip a lot of the squeegee work until i feel like I’ve mastered it.

      For this house it was a new construction so I laddered it just in case but it wasn't too bad. The resin doesn't get too expensive especially with using an RO/DI system. A water fed pole can definitely pick your pace up while you master the squeegee. Feel free to contact me through facebook if you would like and we can get you all set up

      What would be average for that? I’ve seen some people charge double what they would normally charge for a construction clean. I just wasn’t sure if that was to much.
