  • In this Video I talk about some pros and cons that I see with the Water Fed pole, and why I have these opinions. I do like the water fed pole, but some people make it out to be much more than it is.

Thanks for the shoutout! Cleaned thousands of homes with Oxidation and never an issue just FYI

Hey buddy! Thanks for the comment. I would love to get a chat with you sometime on this. I have found quite the opposite for homes with oxidation around here, MI. Usually heavy oxidation for me takes an incredible amount of scrub time until all the oxidation 'bleeds' off, or the dance of scrubbing, and moving down the line, and returning to the same window to scrub/rinse again, which increases time, especially if you get on a big house with french panes and heavy oxidation.. I've certainly spent hours cleaning those types of houses on the outside, only to hop to the inside and see all the windows streaked from oxidation. I certainly value your input, huge fan!

Steveo's a good dude he set me up with my first system. I share your issue with oxidation, and I learned the hard way. It ate a substantial portion of my profits on a large job. The water fed pole definitely has its place, but it has some significant drawbacks. I too, will do a video on this soon, both pros and cons. I feel a common misconception is the time saving element.
Unless you are doing 2nd level and above, this is simply not true.

I dont understand why you use this type of ladder to windowcleaning, to heavy to slowly

Have you tried doing oxidation removal? And offering it as an add on. There are chemicals we use in the pressure washing industry that wouldn’t require more than a garden hose, soft bristle brush ( like a water fed pole brush ) and oxidation removal chemical.
Would love a response. Just now started to offer window cleaning and was considering getting a water fed system

Yes, oxidation removal is always good to offer! It definitely is a big upsell, since it is time intensive.
Let me know how you do it!

I offer the same, just be sure to note it during your initial estimate. I use a pressure washer and basic brush to clear the oxidation.

I’m in Kansas, just starting out and found your channel, curious where you’re at? We get around 195-250 tds here maybe 300 if it’s really bad (where I am anyway). Love the videos!

I agree with you I love using traditional when I can however if it is paned windows I’m gonna at least attempt water fed sometimes the oxidation tho is just so bad that even scrubbing the frames and rinsing just takes sooo long or doesn’t even work because if how bad it is in my experience
