That FJ is a beast. I’m sure it has a lot to do with the wheel base but they all made it up. Good stuff 👏🏻
The FJ was well setup for sure! It was fun to see back-to-back-to-back!
Thanks for watching! 🤘
Wow the FJ killed it, not surprised.
The FJ setup was on point for sure! Thanks for watching!
he control you showed on that narrow, rocky trail was incredible.
@@4x4adventure_pl it was fun to watch the 3 different rigs tackle the same obstacle back to back to back!
The FJ & Bronco just walked right up it, the jeep really struggled, but it could've been the driver or the line.
Yeah, I think the Jeep started off too far left, but also not sure if he used lockers either. Fun watching them go back to back to back tho!
it was the long wheelbase. i knew that as soon as i saw the title of the video. another vs video which is a waste of time
FJ for the win
The FJ made it look easy for sure! Thanks for watching!
Good example of how wheel base length impacts off road prowess. Gladiator struggled but not surprised. They all have excellent 4WD systems.
Agreed! It was just fun to watch diff platforms try the same spot back to back!

Fj made it look easy!!
For sure! Cruised right up and over.
Damn straight!
I own one and I wont get rid of it until the wheels fall off!
@@denniscotey8182same here. I absolutely love my FJ
@@denniscotey8182add me to that list. Mine is a keeper

It comes down to spring rates and tire pressure, lower tire pressure in the gladiator would’ve helped a lot and remember the gladiator has different springs because it has a much higher towing capacity, just a simple change would give the gladiator more flex and more capability but they’re all good vehicles they all work.
I don’t have a horse in the race (pun intended, I do have a Bronco, but the one shown wasn’t mine)… it was just fun to watch and record 3 diff rigs on the exact same spot
We’re closing in on almost 1500 views!!!!
Let us know which rig you liked the most!
The FJ for sure! Love mine!!
@@denniscotey8182 I do love FJs, I wanted a Trail Teams edition REALLY bad when they came out!
If the gladiator had lockers that would have been a cinch.
Probably, but he also started with a harder line too
Longer wheel base effected the breakover angle which is why it kept hitting the boulders. Had it been a 4 door wrangler, it would have made it up with ease.
If he had lockers it would have been easy.
Paid all that money for that Jeep just to get shown up by an fj. I love it😊
that FJ was a BEAST tho!
Was the guy in the gladiator on the gas and the breaks at the same time?
To be honest, not sure! Just the video guy lol
HOLY SMOKES! 10K views! 🤯🤯🤯
Driver for the Gladiator is a newbe.
Idk much about the driver, I was just running the camera… but he definitely took a harder line to start, and that didn’t help
There were a couple of times he let up to soon. Running at it real fast, the truck looked brand new. I'm guessing newbie.@@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson
@@arthurjulien9455 could be! either way, was fun to watch the diff brands go back-to-back-to-back
I always enjoy head to head match ups. Good job on that.@@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson
@@arthurjulien9455 thanks for watching
I'm sure it was more about the drivers, but that FJ just walked up it like it was nothing. The bronco seemed to do just fine although it looked like it had front and rear lockers engaged. An advantage over the FJ for sure.
The FJ was setup really well! I don’t know if the Bronco used both lockers or not, but in my 2-door bronco, no front locker was needed on that hill
The wheel base of the Gladiator really made it hard for it to make it up.
It didn’t help! That’s for sure!
That wittle Jeepy couldn't quite do it...
He made it, just started with a bad line
Go Toyota 😄
The FJ killed it!
FJ is the king after its brother LC
FJs are sweet for sure! I loved the body matched “Trail Teams Edition” when they came out
Now folks that's a Toyota don't drool nuff said I'm out Cape Town South Africa ❤
Thanks for watching! The FJ made it look easy!
5000 views! Y’all rock!
Clearly the person driving the Jeep is a newbie offroad. Poor control. Looked like he was in 4H and did not know what he was doing
TBH… I don’t know the driver of the Jeep or Toyota, I just happened to have the GoPro with me
Yo! I think i found this spot on maps, just wanted to ask what the bust factor is here? Are people not happy about you guys out there?
We’ve never heard of anyone having any issues… from what we were told, the property own refuses to enforce anything, so the cops don’t bother either.
@@AdventuresOfRogersAndHenderson okay cool! Thanks for the response
@@Sharpest_ no problem! thanks for watching!
The Jeep didn't have lockers. How can it compete?
I mean, he made it… so, shear will?
FJ destroyed the two brand... 💯
It made it look really easy! It was a sweet rig!
Toyota
The FJ definitely made it look easy! well built rig for sure! 🤘
The Gladiator driver seemed like it was his first time off road. Every time he'd be about to clear the hill, he'd let off. He could benefit from airing down some.
Possibly… I didn’t know the drivers of the FJ or Gladiator, I just happened to be standing at the top with a GoPro when they decided to go.
Do you guys drive with both feet?
Yes
🤣😂🤣
The Jeep driver looked very inexperienced to me.
Maybe, I don’t know the driver… I was just standing there with a GoPro
gladiator you are too sure that you re"the first" 😂
Ope
Each vehicle is a competent off roader , it was the amerishness of the drivers that was tragic . Rubicon in the right hands would have crawled
Up that. Hill I’m no time
I’m a fan of all 3! The wheelbase of the FJ was best suited for this particular hill, hard break over at the top
What a shame
What’s a shame sir?
The jeep driver tried it in high range ???
No idea sir, I was just the camera man!
jeep was painful to watch
I don’t know the driver, but I think he originally started in 4High, and the line wasn’t optimal
the generic rock music bothers me. rather listen to the trucks and rocks sounds.
@@ultimatesteve apologies… the original audio had a tingy hollow metal echo sound
Wel conductor del jeep es un loquito desaforao....
Maybe
NO es el carro si el mal chofer del jeep gladiator... mucho carro para un inexperto.
Idk the driver, I was just the guy filming 🤷♂️
Byd u8😎
😎
Get a jeep if you value your long term $$$$. jeeps are cheap. Jeep Parts are cheap, body parts are cheap, engine transmission axel differential swaps are cheap. Jeeps are simple to work on.
Fj and bronco parts are not cheap, they are not simple to work on.
I have 2 jeeps a 1991 grand wagoneer, bought $3k, did an $4k gm ls engine transmission axle differential swap . Also have a 1999 jeep wrangler 4.0l 5sp manual 125k miles bought for only $4k. And to get them extreme off road capable is cheap to if want go that route.
If The jeep had any locker it would beat the fj. The fj are too expensive to get parts if break. and against a soild axle jeep with lockers the fj ill loose every time.
We here at Rogers & Henderson love all makes… we’ve owned several Jeeps, a Toyota, and now Broncos… and each had perks and annoyances… we just love when people wheel whatever they got 🤘
LOL that's where you screwed up. FJs DONT BREAK. Routinely go 200k with no major issues. Jeeps on the other hand.... death wobble at 30k, oil burning at 50k, Routinely ranking at the bottom of reliability charts... so yes, the parts better be cheap, bc you'll need a whole lot of them!
Except that FJs are more reliable and better built than the Jeep and Ford. And the FJ is a better daily driver than any Jeep Wrangler..better on the road, in the dirt, in the snow, blasting down backroads at high speed, better ride. Jeeps are great for rock crawling though, but they aren’t reliable like a Toyota. My FJ has over 250,000km on the clock and runs like new, engine fires up like it just rolled off the assembly line. I’ll never sell it.
