Marylin had her hair dye and bleach constantly to achieve the platinum blonde which is very difficult to achieve if you are not a natural blonde . I’m glad they chose a wig than trying to destroy her hair by bleaching which is also very painful.

This is one of those situations where it isn’t there until it is. I was SO against this because it made no sense at all, but then we see this or even the stills of her filming and in some instances I had to double check it wasn’t an actual photo of Marilyn. Who ever saw Marilyn in Ana deserves so many awards, and so do the people that made this transformation happen.
I mean I’m still against it because parts of Blonde were complete lies and didn’t happen at all.

i really wish they would’ve used someone else. she’s gorgeous, but even after the transformation she doesn’t really look like marilyn. her face is just too small. there’s so many people who look almost identical to marilyn when they do her makeup that could’ve been a significantly better cast.
