What about all the lead and other heavy metals in chocolate, ginger and spices these days?
1. Blueberries
2. Turmeric
3. Ginger
4. Green vegetables
5. Bell peppers
6. Nuts
7. Green tea
8. Other berries
9. Tomatoes
10. Dark chocolate
Good on you!
Thank you
add dark cherries, tomatoes are high in histamine so I don't tolerate them well.
Thank you 🎉
Thanks!
Love this doctor, he truly serves humanity as medics are meant to.
Agreed.
Thanks again. Did I mention that you're the best?!
Mustard is very good too. It has anti-cancer, antibacterial, antifungal, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
I would also add to the list avocados and homemade sauerkraut.
Excellent addition 👌
Cloves cinnamon and Oregano
1. Blueberries
2. Turmeric
3. Ginger
4. Green Vegetables
5. Bell Peppers
6. Nuts
7. Green Tea
8. Other Berries
9. Tomatoes
10. Dark Chocolate.
Brazil nuts every day for the Selenium 😋
Just don’t eat too many of them cause too much selenium can also cause side effects
Blueberries are my fave but they have to be ripe. Been drinking alot of ginger tea as well. God bless!
Good idea on the tea!
I eat coleslaw by the bucket! I make it myself. I shread both red and green organic cabbage and carrot. I chop A organic apple in tiny pieces and toss in A hand full of dried cranberries. I use plain organic yogurt as a dressing.
I love that. An alternative is the same vegetables and and yoghurt peanuts and just a smear of mustard for a change.
@@AnnieH-1 Just a smear. Hahahaaaa!
@@returnofthenative Oh yes. A smidgen too much and it's horrible. That's my experience anyway. 😊
No dairy!!🤷♀️🙄
Cabbage and dairy are unhealthy.
We are frugivore.
Not herbivore.
Not omnivore.
Sweet and raw only.
Thankyou Dr Dhand you are one of the very few Dr's I trust these days
Dang!
I consume all of those foods, every day, with the exception of green tea, can't stand the stuff, & I don't eat prepared chocolate instead substituting cacao (not to be confused with cocoa).
A no compromise approach to diet, no cigarettes, no alcohol, no drugs, & absolutely no jab. Weights, running/walking, cycling has worked so well for me that at 70 now I feel terrific.
Just this morning I totally dropped a very rude 30 y.o. in full lycra & cleats, on the latest & greatest $20,000 bike while riding in ordinary clothing, the 26 y.o. race bike that I use as my daily commuter. He disappeared within 2kms & I never saw him again.
It quite made my day.
Wow, good for you! I'm like you at 67, but I love my green tea.
@@src5769 That's ok, as its you who has to drink it.
Its always good to see or hear from like minded, we are few. Of those I know, & whom I told on deaf ears, from many decades ago & who thought me a health nutter, perhaps half are dead & the remainder are in such pitiful condition, all those pills, the mobility walkers, the amputations etc. I can think of only 4, who got it & are happy, healthy, & doing at 70, 84, & 2 as 90 year olds.
Co-incidentally all were athletes in their younger days, all carry a strong family values perspective, & all have been reasonably successful in life.
Finally a healthy foods list full of tasty choices!
Thanks for helping "us" Dr. Dhand.
it's safe to say my morning smoothie of 1cup frozen wild blueberries, 5.3 oz frozen steamed kale, 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1 tablespoon ORGANIC ADUNA UNSWEETENED COCAO POWDER, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and whole cloves i've been on this smoothie for 7 years now.. this video showed me how good a researcherI am. thanks Dr. Dhand.
Dr. Dhand is the best!! Wish he was my dr
Thanks Janet!

Pomegranates! 😋
Off-topic: Ozempic is VERY dangerous, and should be avoided at all costs. Anyone share my sentiments?
I worry. I wonder if it will be the next big pharma drug scandal after opioids. Time will tell.
Everyone but Oprah. 😂
I wonder if it will be the next big pharma scandal. It’s being marketed as a wonder drug and yet they gloss over very serious side effects, including death. Only time will tell.
Good topic for an upcoming video.
Yes, and these are the same people injecting botulism into their faces. Vain, shallow, dumb people want a medical fix instead of learning natural remedies for anti-aging and weight loss.
It is refreshing to see an honest doctor that knows what he's talking about!!!! Great videos!!!!
I consume collagen, NAC, Brazil nuts(selenium) to get my glutathione level as high as possible. The body’s own antioxidant.
What brand of collagen and NAC supplements have you taken that you’ve found helpful? There’s so many companies, I’m trying to decide which ones are best. Thanks! ❤️👍🏽
What about kefir/yogurt/fermented food?
Fermented foods are healthy for other reasons.
What about cinnamon?
I drink 3 oz on Olive oil every morning. It helps cardio, digestion, and it makes my skin soft.
You just drink it like you drink water?? or blend it into something?
I have a large tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil before bed so I am not hungry while sleeping and might get up for a snack
@ts9597 How can you swallow a spoon of oil on its own? 🙄 do you rinse and brush teeth afterwards?
@@wombat5628 I love the radiate of extra virgin olive oil. They practically drink that stuff in Greece and Italy and it is a fantastic healthy saturated fat. I also squeeze a little lemon on my tablespoon always before bed. I also spend the extra to buy quality olive oil, not the cheap crap mostly in supermarkets.
I love the taste, as it is. It's not fish oil... @@wombat5628
You are a caring helpful Doctor, I respect you.
I'm surprised. The necrovore diet seems to be soaring in popularity. There are doctors and nutritionists on UA-cam saying avoid all plants, seeds, nuts, legumes, grains, fruit and veg. And they claim health benefits, weight loss and remission of diseases.
I try aim for a whole food plant based diet, not only for health benefits, but for the animals, the environment and starving populations.
So I'm happy that there seems to be some sensible advice at last!
We have been feeding our dogs green beans, sweet potato, chicken along with some dry food. I’ve been concerned about most dog foods, trying to be preventive. What are you feeding your pets? Thanks! ❤👍🏽
I just reread what you said, and see you were meaning not eating animals, being good for them this way, like being vegan?
AGREE WITH ALL FOODS YOU RECOMMEND SURPRISED YOU DID NOT MENTION GARLIC. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
Flax seeds and Chia seeds are a good source of antioxidants too; Dr Dhand.🌱🌱😉
Be careful with dark chocolate...some have heavy metals like cadmium and lead!!
Thank You Dr. Suneel, Great Wisdom On Healthy Foods, Much Love And Respect, Wendy
You didn't mention garlic.
Garlic - especially fermented black. Tropea red onions (I live in Sicily). Aubergines. Parsley. Last night I prepared marinated aubergines. Today I am going to cook calf liver from an organic butcher. With onions
Peoples in the far north didn't have fresh fruits and vegetables for many months. They relied on animal protein sources to get through winter. But nature brings fresh berries and baby greens in the early spring. Nature knows how to take care of us! And of course, in North America, we had cranberries in the fall to rev up our immunity for winter, and the cranberry's high acidity helped digest the high animal proteins.
Hello Dr. Dhand! Good to see again! So helpful! Thank you so much! You are so appreciated!
He woke me up!
Diabetes NOT my future any longer!
Wake up, World!!!
Pomegranate!! They are the only thing about winter that I look forward to. I love making a smoothie with kefir, spinach, blueberries and cocoa for breakfast. Sweet potatoes and winter squash are great too and delicious in soup.
When pomegranates are in season I get them for a dollar and eat one a day. Get the seeds out and eat with a spoon
When are they in season? @@LorySmith144
One comment I would make on blueberries. I have a mature crop of 12 organic Blueberry bushes. I would pick the ripe berries rinse them and quick freeze them and bag them in my freezer. So I was eating like a handful a day on my oatmeal and just munching them. I was working out at the gym one day and all of a sudden my right foot, and big toe seized up. and in short I had a bout of Gout. All my friends who had Gout said, oh no problem just take this one pill a day and bingo your fine. Uh uh not me. So I did my own research, changed my diet to green smoothies and lost 50 lbs. I'm OK now. I found out blueberries are loaded with purines which can cause gout. No more feasting on blueberries for me, Grandkids can harvest and freeze them!
I have all these, every day!
What about garlic 😢
Whenever I see your posts Dr Dhand i watch intently ! Wise man with valuable advice! Thank you💖☺☺
Thank you so much Doc, from a french nurse 🙏🤗🌺🌺🌺
Wow - I had no idea about the bell peppers and Vit-C. Definitely appreciated this list as it was very informative.
All the ingredients we use in our curries such as cumin seeds, coriander, turmeric, curry leaves ect have health benefits. For example when the children had stomach upset we boiled cumin seeds and gave them (like a tea)
I always use tukmaria (casa casa seeds) in water during the warm weather because it has a cooling effect.
Our mothers had a good knowledge about these herbal remedies therefore we hardly went to a doctor.
I feel sad that this knowledge is dying with us.
Thank you, Dr. Dhand for all the information shared with the public.
I eat most of the foods you mentioned doc, and my health is pretty good for a 70+ year old. Many of my friends however seem to be becoming obsessed with oxylates, and say to cut out lettuce and spinach and many other foods that I enjoy. Can we have you views on this please? Thanks so much.
I eat wild blueberries.
In regards to dark chocolate l have recently read that it can be high in heavy metals and cadmium, is there truth in this?
Thankyou from Australia 🙏🏻
Yes, some brands contain a lot more than others. Cadbury also contains Senomyx* as a flavouring, as do all Nestlé products including its Milo drink.
*aborted fœtal stem cells
The best is to bay organic chocola.. vivani...
Also, note that some brands' EU version is better than their Anglosphere version; Lindt being a prime example.
Oxalates and other antinutrients need to be considered.
Well, I'm amazed, my wife and I eat all of these mentioned pretty much every day and am sure feel healthy as a result. Thank you DR Dhand.
3:25 Bell pepper is the nightshade family containing solanine contributing to arthritis.
I love this list! Let’s add okra, Goji berries, and pecans 💚
What about Oxalates?
I glad he mentioned spices...not enough emphasis on spices as antioxidants... thanks Doc.. tumeric on cuts help to heal 👍
Hi there ...what spices are good as antioxidants....I am so new to all this....thank you so much.
That definitely sounds like the magnificent 10 antioxidant foods for good health. 👍👍👍
Thank you !!!
Dr. sunnel, ❤❤❤❤❤
As always, you're a blessing to us all.
Fresh blueberries these days are very expensive and only in season during the summer.
Frozen berries are available year round. Wild blueberries (frozen) are excellent for your health.
I buy blueberries in the summer and freeze them so I can have it every day with my cereal!
Blueberries are so easy to grow in any backyard
I get plentiful harvest every year
Same here as far as growing them. It's February and ours are blooming!
@@src5769 yea, mine is loaded in blooms
you must be doing something right yr skin looks amazing
Mostly packed with oxylates
4:45 tomato is the nightshade family with solanine.
Ever since I had a bad attack of diverticulitis 7 years ago I can’t eat berries, nuts or tomatoes. It makes me sad because I love them and know how good they are for you.
Thank you for your continued care for the human race, Dr Dhand.
Love your posts.
From the uk
Okay dark chocolate is great as an antioxidant, but what the heavy metals it contains including Mercury, Lead, and others.
Buy European dark chocolate, as EU food regulations are very strict about food safety standards, compared to US market
I eat & love all foods you mentioned! I will check labels more regularly for the added trash. Thanks for sharing!😊
Lemon, grape fruit , sweet potatoes
I have a huge space around my house , i am cultivating a lot ! If you want to live healthy , its easy !😊
Thankyou once again Dr Dhand spot on once again , 🏴
Blessings and appreciation from Sydney Australia .
Blueberries make me feel better immediately, but they’re so expensive! Since we moved last year, I’ve planted several bushes and will hopefully have my own mini patch in a year or two.
Yes to ginger… I’ve started drinking fresh ginger tea made by chopping up fresh ginger root ( I add fresh lime juice too)…boiling it up for about 20 minutes and then letting it cool down before straining it.
I started doing this because a very healthy friend recommended it against colds and other illnesses. After drinking a cup of this daily for a week I discovered that my acid reflux and heart burn that had been causing me problems for the last two years was about 90% resolved. No more waking up middle of the night with acid in my throat! I was shocked… why have I never heard about this before? I’ve been taking this fresh ginger tea daily for two months now and it manages my acid reflux… and side note.. we have not been sick at all this winter even though we’ve been exposed to a lot of very sick people! I love this ginger tea… it packs a punch but the health results for me have been direct…I think I’m going to be making and drinking this stuff for a long time to come 😊
Sounds delicious. Thanks for the info
Thank you so much such a useful list. What is you view on eating all your vegetables organic? If you can afford this, at least do this one thing.
Easy rule - eat more natural source foods - fruits & veg and less sugar and processed foods. I eat a bowl of mixed fruit every morning. Costs alot but I feel it's worth it!
Great to know anout the vitamin C content of red peppers, I had no idea.
How about pomegranate, beets, garlic onion?
Hello Dr.,Thank you for all you do to educate us,Your Amazing and Such a Wonderful Blessing, And such a Rare Gem to Encourage people to stay off Big Pharma Poisen.Thank you so Much!😊
Thankyou for practical help.
One major worry i have is consumption of too many oxolates which will be in some of the foods you mention.
That's so cool. Thx for doing this, filming it and sharing it with us.
Thank you for your valuable information. 👍
Thank you, and now please tell us your 10 favorite dishes
Thank you doc for offering your knowledge to us!
One small addition: lycopene in tomatoes is much better absorbed in the presence of olive oil.
My first reaction: "a red or a yellow pepper contains 3 times as much vitamin C than an orange does". Oh no! What is wrong with an orange pepper!!! They are my favorite! Then I realized... "Orange" = citrus fruit
Love your work thank you so much. I was pleased to see that I'm eating all the things on your list although I swap blueberries for black currants which I think are even better for anti oxidants! They grow very well in my new zealand garden 😊
Food rich in Vitamin A, C and E regarded antioxidants. A from carrots and sweet potatoes and some green , C from citrus fruits , E from nuts .
Then zinc and selenium helpful.
I love blueberries with organic porridge. Also Beetroot! ❤️
Thanks for sharing Dr Dhand much appreciated 🙏
I brush my teeth with ginger powder and not toothpaste ... Tony cuenca
Sweet, I've been consuming everything on his Top 10 list regularly for years.
I use a lot of turmeric in my cooking. I have tea once a day with ginger added. Green tea multiple times a week.
I have a great reduction in pain. I have greatly reduced my use of pain meds.
Thanks Doc. Kepp us informed. These Bots calling themselves healers are useless.
Thank you Dr Suneel ❤❤
My pleasure- appreciate you watching!
I eat all these for my lunch. Excellent Dr. I love your programs.❤️✌🏽🤷
I put ginger in my yogurts and add tuneric to most of my cooking. I also use cacao which has benefits
So glad I discovered you
Thank you so much, Dr. Dhand, for your absolutely useful health advice. I LOVE blueberries, but can't eat turmeric or bell peppers as every time I have tried, I get a very sharp pain near my waist. Nuts are great! I like to combine tiny carrots with nuts as a snack. Currently hoping to reduce the sugar in my diet which I know will be very beneficial!
Great advice. I eat all of those but a bit low on other berries and tomatoes, but that will change now. Also garlic. Thank you
This is great! I hardly hear drs pushing pushing high protein and Whole Foods. Turmeric saved me from carpal tunnel surgery. Food is our medicine 😊
Good video
For oxidative stress highly recommend N-acetyl Cysteine. Precursor of glutathione production in the body.
Dragon fruits, high in magnesium, very low in sugar, andcs good spurce of fiber snd antioxidants. Don't forget papaya that is rich in promelain and probiotics for a healthy digestive .
Thank you. You're providing solid believable facts to an appreciative audience.
The only two I don't consume are peppers and tomatoes. Everything else is on my daily diet.
Dear Dr Dhand,
Some health professionals often talks about the negative effects of lectins in nightshades, beans and some nuts.
Would you make a video sharing your thoughts about it?
Thank you so much in advance.
I also want to thank you for always speaking about root causes of ailments and the importance of real health.
Thank you for your videos.
