Just got my hana yesterday. It feels so silky and comfortable on the skin, and the control is spot on in-game. It was exactly what I was looking for in a pad, and the durability is a plus, too. Overall, I feel pretty justified with my purchase.
Was debating on getting the Hana, but absolutely hated the design. Chose the Beast instead because it's more palatable to me. Though it having crazy speed will be interesting coming from cloth.
What cloth pad are you using? I went from an logitech to artisan zero soft to artisan raiden soft to sp-004, I felt going from zero to raiden was biggest difference (using jade air skates). It helped alot before glass. Might have to do some aim train as I use a different style of aiming compared to what I used to for tact shooters.
what other pads have this graininess (so called low static, high dynamic?) I got skypad 3.0 and cerapad kin, but there is no feedback on my skates from the pad.. i don't like that

You right the glasspad market is kinda saturated but at the same time its kinda not because a LOT of releases are super limited....reminds me of the earlier days of the mechanical keyboard hobby and i really dont miss those days 😂

i hope companies start making more 500x500 and maybe even 500x550, and these designs feel kinda cringe most the time, i hope they start offering designs that arent anime faces preferably like the lock on harut, it would also be cool to have an option to put your own image on the pad for a couple bucks more
Boardzy was talking about having a flat screen under a glasspad, so you could have what ever design you like, prob a couple years from that as the pad would be thick to be able to protect the flat screen.

My previous wraith cosmic glaspad you could feel the slightest dust or hair on the surface, and it made scratchy sound and feeling, i would had need to wipe it off every 30 min or so. Does the hana have similar issue? Thanks

Honestly, go with Obsidians as everyone recommends. Its very annoying how fast regular PTFE slows down. With fresh BTL dots my kazemi is much faster than Fresh's in this video and after 2-3 days it gets to that level of speed.
I never seen pro players use glass pad I feel like just normal mice pad are still better I may be wrong but to me don’t make sense to maybe for some games that’s good
The thing is pro players arnt the best aimer out there and take consistency over everything els . You need realy good mouse control to play a glass pad and transporting that thing is just a nightmare as well .

More overpriced slabs of glass with cringey weeb ai artwork, so inspiring - yay... I already have Kazemi (which is also cringe) so just commenting for the algorithm. Crazy how they just now improved the edge rounding with whole another product. With how obnoxious Kazemi's rouding is, it shouldn't have left the factory. You can literally order a slab of glass from any local company and their rounding would feel better. Still i don't find it "that different" even compared to the older Skypad 3.0, just another slab of glass. Also, Skypad has better rounded edges. And solid colors. I fell into the "hype" trap and now i'll live with my mistake aka Kazemi.

So, yeah, to me it is just another slab of glass and not worth the hype. And i get that reviewers have to exaggerate to make a point, just like with : audio, cloth pads, mice but to me it does not warrant spending 100$+ if you already have a glass pad. Also, it ruins feet faster than Skypad 3.0 so there is that. The only "plus" for me is the rubber backing as my Skypad warped with time because of the silly corner feet. I really respect that you didn't wipe out "negative comments" aka people sharing their experience as some others do tho and warning other users to crank down their hopes/expectations.

I think it’s totally appropriate to tell people not to fall for the hype ! That’s your opinion and I don’t disagree with it. I could completely be happy with a skypad 2.0. If you’re happy you need to go for something that has an aesthetic you like when it comes to glass. If you don’t like the aesthetic the performance doesn’t matter. I do slightly disagree though. The 2.0/3.0 and sp004 all feel different. Skates can affect the feel and make them more similar. But you cannot mistake the 3.0 texture with the sp004. Impossible. Likewise, the kazemi does get close to the sp004, however unmistakeable from a skypad 2 and 3
That’s why I always start with “over saturated market” and “go for the aesthetic you want”. Literally glass pads are just too similar minus some texture differences and anti stick improvements / thickness improvements. The texture of the superglide 2 is also quite different.

Yes you feel the hana is slower. Particularly depending on your skates. If your budget is tight and you like the kazemi no need to side grade
