    I've actually been doing this and instead of getting cleaning supplies at a grocery store I get our cleaning supplies at a cheaper amount at the Dollar Tree. This works!

    I have done this! Grocery costs were the only adjustable expense in my budget at one point. After doing this, I paid off my debt quickly.

    I’ve watched a ton of frugal grocery haul videos of other UA-camrs and they save tons of money cause they eat garbage. Sure, I’ve been able to cut my grocery spending way back and never get takeout cause fast food is garbage, too. Commercial products are often very inexpensive, like campbells soup on sale or white bread or lunch meat, but a person’s health will certainly suffer over time eating such low quality/no nutritional value foods.

    I'm excited to try this. We used to spend between $1200-1700/month for just 2 of us! Last month we got it down to $700. I would LOVE to get it down to $150.00/month. We already have a 1/2 beef in the freezer so we just need to buy chicken. I'm excited! I just found you last week and my husband switched to Velocity banking. He is currently laid off so this info comes at a great time! Thanks so much for all the information you share with us.

    Another way to shop and meet your budget is to do pickup instead of going in the store.

    so many changes on the horizon for me... I am so used to getting paid bi-weekly and heading out to the Grocery every two weeks and spending hundreds of dollars on food/household items. Now, with my new Velocity banking mentality I will have an open credit line to grocery shop (on a budget, of course) every week. So excited!!

    We started shopping online at our grocery store, this helps to not go down the wrong isle and start adding things we don’t need. 😂 however we will try this week method sounds less stressful then planning whole month.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video. I’m just starting velocity banking and it’s a very disciplined application. My grocery bill was my point frustration. This helps me to at least have a plan. Your positive attitude gives me a little boost as well. Let’s do this!

    I've been doing this for years and only go to the store every Thursday or Friday. I also look in the ads for sales of course. I've never tried it with a set budget though but I usually don't get too much. Thanks for the tips.

    I know I need to save on eating but I just can’t fathom $75 per month. I sprang $12 on a pack of chicken and it was even the thin kind.

    I give our family if 4 800/mo. This covers groceries, eating out and household items, like t.p., laundry soap, shampoo- stuff like that. We also make a weekly menu and only buy what we need. We have 1 night of leftovers, one FEND FO night (FEND FO YO’ SELF) 😊 this works out greatly for us, and saves us so much time and money! I LOVE sharing this method with other people 🥰

    I've shopped once every 2 weeks for years, because the grocery store has been a 35 mile trip each way (or more, depending on where we lived). But, I have to eat Keto, do to health issues, and that just isn't cheap, even with just 2 of us eating it. Back when we had kids at home, we ate a lot of beans, rice, macaroni, so, yeah, cheap, but not healthy. Can you do something like this for a short time emergency? Yes. Should you do it long term? Not really, you need better nutrition. And with the rising prices of all the food, growing your own can help. Sprouts are very nutritious and don't take much time or space.

    In theory. Then you add in different diets for health reasons so you have at least 2 meals at each meal. The cost of groceries at this point in time.

    it would be very difficult. I believe it would be a challenge to budget $300 per person per month. $10 a day does not buy a lot of food. If you can do that more power to you. I spend $100 for 2 just on 1 meal for sushi, just saying

    $75 a month for one person is $18.75 a week! I don't eat processed foods. $18.75 is just fruits and fresh veggies; eggs are about $5 a dozen (pasture raised eggs); no room for meat like chicken and fish. Is this plan for healthy eating in this inflated economy?

      @VanntasticFinances  Рік тому +6

      Now if you do organics...yes, must increase the personal amount. Thanks for watching! BUT Jordan Page says only by $5 - $10 per person per month. 🤨

    Little Caesar’s Pizza! One pizza will provide lunch and supper - IF . . you’re in a bind. This would only be good for a short time, but it would work in a pinch. Whenever God provided food, He only fed them twice a day. Think about that!

    I have Multiple Chemical Sensitivity and I need to eat 100% organic food - which is about 4 times the cost of normal fruit and vegetables. My food bill is huge. I wish normal healthy food wasn't so expensive. I've tried eating the 'regular' food at the supermarket but it's all sprayed with pesticides which make me very sick with nausea, headache and diarrhoea. The supermarkets do sell organic food now but it's pretty much the same price as the organic market prices. Could try a farm perhaps or try to grow my own? Health has to come first in my opinion but I will try to cut back.

    We buy organic and avoid boxed food...so we do have to budget more. We also make sure to consume a good amount of protein...my 18 year old is weight lifting and bulking too so we have to add more for that. We try to avoid all unhealthy, poisonous food.
