Mythril Shard farming method Pre-Hollow Bastion - Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix

Pretty much just raise your MP as high as you can, get all the Lucky Strikes as usual, go to the area to the right of the entrance to where you fight the Pot Scorpion, put on Aero, and run into the Pots to destroy the Pot Spiders.
You do get Mythril Shards sometimes while farming Mythril Stones, but to make Mythril you need 5 for every 1 Stone so it's nice to get some easy extras.
Doesn't work as well after beating Riku and upping the difficulty for all worlds, as it's harder to kill the Pots with Aero, there are less in the area, and Dark Balls join in to ruin your day. Just switch to using Thunder instead of Aero.

Okay I have played this game since it premiered when I was preteen. And to this day I have never been able to get Donald’s MP gauge that powerful. How in the heck did you accomplish this when Donald has only two equipment equip pockets to work with!?

How are you able to one hit the pot spiders. I can go up to 16 mp and cannot do that.

This is before the events that happen in Hollow Bastion that make the heartless stronger. To one-shot them after that happens, you will need to use Thundara or Thundaga. I've never tested if Thunder will be strong enough.

Does the Lady Luck keyblade affect drop rates?

No, none of the keyblades in this game affect the drop rate of items. Lady Luck gives you more MP, which also increases how much damage your magic attacks do.
