      I say the opposite is true, black women have coined the phrase "i don't need a man" meaning the black man since the early 90s. If you can't speak the whole truth and understand where this state of mind comes from then you're just grasping for straws. Black women prefer child support to an educated supportive father at home. It's strange how you guys come online and speak without actually listening to the opinions of actual black women. On many womens sites they are saying they prefer a street guy over an educated family man... one reason is because a street guy is easy to push out of their lives and use the court system to separate those men from their money. Where have you been for the last 30 years?

      @@princesslamour1985 They are only going to wake up and lead when they HAVE to and unfortunately BW who only want to date BM are the reason they don't. Y'all have said time and again you will accept him in any condition as long as that skin is black. He doesn't have to compete for you, many BW lower their standards and compromise their convictions just to be kept in a rotation with other women, playing the Black Love Hunger Games, so they can have the honor of being the last woman standing. No real man is asking a woman to prove squat, he already understands her worth and value in his life and makes his move when he comes across the right one. If you really want things to change then silently support the swirlers by not talking against them, they're the ones creating the competition that is going to force BM to get off their backsides and work on themselves and ultimately benefit you.
      OP I hope you know that you can always adopt FULL black children. It is a little concerning that you consider a non-black man willing to provide, protect, treat you well and genuinely love you "settling" and by extension points to you even resenting the children you'd have out of that union. While I can appreciate the pain of "having" to go outside the community, it's preferable for those who think like this to not swirl at all, if that's how you truly feel. Otherwise a counseling session is in order (yes I mean therapy), if I were your non-black s/o and I saw a comment about how being with me was you "painfully settling" you wouldn't be able to blink before I dropped you. Food for thought.

I have had black men legit say they don’t mess with black women bc they are “too much” so I stayed single forever and just kept working and building myself up. They were either intimidated or just not interested. I’m finally in a happy relationship at 33 years old but it took this long to finally find it. I read a study complied from all the populate dating sites like match and e harmony, black women were the least desired on the sites. It’s very sad and that was hard to hear.

The wealth went after the 1964 civil rights act with the advent of other races bring business to our community. Fast forward to the 1970's the beginning of mass incarceration and welfare. Women are prohibited from getting benefits if they had a man in the household because they are on minimum wage. I can’t tell you exactly where they are, because I don’t know what city you’re in. But I can tell you that wives attract husbands. In other words you don’t attract what you want, you attract what you are. If you continue to carry yourself with class and continue to be the ambitious young woman you are, your husband will find you. Just don’t be fooled by somebody that knows how to run game. Set your criteria for the type of man you want and don’t settle. And definitely don’t have anybody’s baby until you find him. In the mean time if I were you, I would save some money and travel. Enjoy being young and successful.

I thought I'd be single forever, but my guy said he studied me for a while (at my job) and decided I was the one. He has a great relationship with his mom (extremely important) and all he's ever wanted to be is a husband and father. Stay positive and healthy, don't give anyone a baby before a commitment, and listen to your gut. He should chase you, not the other way around. If he changes once he has your attention, he's not the one. There are a lot of great men out here, just keep being the opposite of the stereotype and you'll see how many men fall for you from that alone.

    Just subbed. Very proud of you, young man. One thing I'd like you to consider - many Black men and Black "men" have turned their backs on God. When you hear them speak they call themselves kings and/or say "I am god" usually in the context of "In my house I'm god". They also talk a lot about wanting women to submit to them. These are things a god expects. My theory is that a lot of Black guys are breaking down mentally, emotionally, physically and otherwise because in their hearts they rival God; He, of course, will not be demoted. I wonder what would happen if Black men truly feared God like they used to and lived in service to Him?

    • @Kevin-qr6rx
      @Kevin-qr6rx 3 роки тому

      I don't really comment, but I would like to reply to yours. The Bible does indeed say that wives should submit to their husbands.
      Ephesians 5:22-24
      1 Peter 3:1-22
      However, I will say that many men expect for a woman to submit to them but aren't leader material. For the women who have a problem with the word "submit," then we can flower it up by saying "cooperate."
      Yes, I believe that many of men aren't stepping up to the plate and even being in the right position (financial, spiritual, and/or emotional) for a woman to submit to them.
      Regarding a guy being in the right position, but a woman still not "cooperating" with him or "submitting" to him, I'mma leave that issue with the ladies.

    I understand how you feel. And it is frustrating... I had a counseling session which was basically young females who are mainly black some biracial speaking about the things that they were going through in school and some of the things that they've been through growing up such as molestation and abuse and since I have been through the same things I was asked to speak to them on their level... One of the saddest things about the whole conversation was the fact that all of them we're deeply afraid of trying to be in a relationship with a black man. Some of them talked about just getting with them if they had money just so they could at least get something out of it.. And others just felt like staying away from black men would be the best thing for them. They were afraid of becoming baby mamas, they were afraid of being abused, they were afraid of being treated like shit mentally and it really hurt me because I wanted to let them know that not all black men are like that and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel however they have so much evidence out here in the world that is stacked against that idea that it gets better... I hope that black people start teaching their daughters and sons how to love, how to be loved, and start teaching them that kindness and compassion is a wonderful thing give them Financial knowledge as well as emotional support. A lot of us are fucked up we keep having kids and fucking them up too.

    This was so true. I appreciate hearing a black man uphold the fact that a positive family dynamic is what progresses us in society. They have been separating our families since slavery and even after with mass incarceration. That's one of the many ways they keep us back. But it doesn't help when we hold ourselves back.

    We've been trained to see toxicity in each other that did not exist in ourselves and in result we project that very toxicity onto each other. We were tricked to carry ourselves with a chip on our shoulders which makes us bitter and selfish. Then we amplify it by having a lack of social and emotional intelligence with each other. It's a perpetual cycle; a self-fulfilling prophecy. However the curse can be undone with INDIVIDUAL work. We ALL must take accountability for ourselves.

    Thank you for this content. You are absolutely on point. Thank you for speaking up! I too have seen very negative commentary between black men and women (girls and boys i.e tik took etc. Many of the sites are just extremely derogatory. We need to uplift each other, not degrade and put each other down. Some black men are stereotyping black women and vice versa. We are better than this, we can support each other and be so much more. We are intelligent, creative people. We should NOT be tearing each other down. People need to wake up!! Family Structure is everything. How could you put down your own people. Again, Uplift, Encourage and Support. I hear men say all black women have low self esteem, they talk our our hairstyles, saying some black women are hard to deal with, thots, not caring, not good mothers. These are all generalizations. I myself grew up around and was raised with wonderful beautiful black women and men in my family. I am proud of being black. Look at our history what other race could survive what our ancestors went through. We are a blessed people, we need to remember what our people are made of. Despite all we went through Still we Rise. That means proud black men and women. How can anyone love themselves but disparage their counterparts. They go hand in hand. Sorry to go on and on but just felt the need to Express how much I agree with your video. Thank you and Keep putting good content. God Bless everyone in the new year 2021.
