Does anyone know how to get the displacement to go outside of the bounds of the volume? The documentation has an example of it working but I can't figure out how to do it. Also I'm having an issue where it feels like the noise for displacement is also acting as a multiplier on the density. So the density increases as the displacement increases, which is really impractical. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
Great video thanks for all the details here 🎉❤
thx man spring update had so much new stuff i would have totaly missed this new gem of redshift without your tip ❤
Very helpful Shawn, thank you.
Great tutorial! Really valuable info. Thanks, Shawn
Hey Shawn, I've been so heads down on Toon, I missed this - thanks for the heads-up and walk through - that and yet another sweet af asset pack.
Good stuff mate! Thanks for the multiply tip!
Very cool, thanks a lot Shawn
will you have another video that goes in to more detail on how you set up the shader? That was the entire reason I watched!! Please and Thank You!
Absolutely! I was just pressed for time! I'll make a more in-depth video soon.

this is awesome, thank you! is it possible to plug a texture into this? I am trying with a 32bit png in black/white but it doesnt seem to be working
So weird. Density is missing in the latest Redshift. I just don't see it
Make sure you're bringing in the new Standard Volume Shader
