I don't know if it's the way his look immediatly changed at the second she started singing "more than words" or because each time she sings "I love you" she just avoids to look at him or the intensity of his eyes showing us that his falling in love with her but this whole scene was perfect and make me falling for them each times
I really wish i could find footage of her speaking English a bit more. Shes an amazing singer, and id love to hear how her voice sounds when she speaks English.

I think when she does speak English in skam she puts on an exaggerated Norwegian accent for the sake of comedy and being relatable, so it may not accurately show her skill. I am fluent in Norwegian and English, I do it myself and witness it a lot. It is almost a national in-joke, really, even though a lot of people talk that way.
@@wronglayerbutok that's amazing that you say that bc I always wondered why sometimes in the TV show she has a strong accent (like when she sings the 2nd song) and sometimes she speaks almost without one. Now I get it !

I grew up learning both languages at the same time, aka : I'm bilingual, but if i'm with friends or non-english family my English will have a stronger Norwegian English accent than usual. It's a phenomenon that affects dialects and accents it seems. Funny how we subconciously adapt how we speak to fit into specific social settings.
I don't know if Noora's accent is scripted ( if so, she dumbs down her English when with William, which she could be doing to seem more humble, but also because she might assume he ain't good and then subconciously alter her English) or if it just happened naturally, BUT it's definetely not exclusive to the Norwegian accent or Norwegian dialects.

I feel like In the end she was really singing. During the rest she was goofing around, but the end sounded genuine and good.
this is absolutely my favourite scene. it makes this show out do other ‘love stories’. when you see william look at her singing, you could tell he falls for her. and noora falls for him whilst singing as well as she feels more comfortable around him.
