"can't you just google me?" Jossefine being Noora. Or it's just her being herself whatever Noora is my fave character and she played her well I can still see those chin movements of hers and think of Noora.
Scandinavian TV is quite realistic, both reality and otherwise, you behave as you do in real life. That's why Skam is so good and realistic, quite different from American teen shows, where the actors are adults etc. lol
Skavlan show is a window into their minds and personality and the host asks some serious and critical questions so it can seem a little serious, we also have comedy chat shows like tonight with Ylvis ( the guys who made the song The Fox)
I love how everyone in this interview is so honest and straightforward!! I love Noora and Isak! My lil duo ♥ It's refreshing to see them all speak their mind without worrying about the press or something like that. Candid.
SKAM introduced me to a whole new culture and I am seriously falling in love with scandinavia (always knew the existence, never took the time to inform myself about it). To people from this culture, could you comment below more about your culture or your personal country? And do you know similar scandinavian tv shows in the same style as SKAM also translated in English or even in French? It interests me a lot! Lots of love from Canada!!
I believe Skam paints a realistic portrait of youth culture in the southern, urban areas such as Stockholm and Oslo. As someone who've lived in and have relatives in Stockholm as well as rural Northen Sweden, I can vouch for the massive difference in culture between the two (other than the national holidays of course). The larger urban areas are more snobbish, competitive and "judging"/comparing, people are more sociable, socially skilled and have larger circles of friends. These ingredients cook _drama_ In Northen Swedish small towns or rural areas, people rather avoid drama and they talk less, and anyone talking too much or too much about themselves are promptly told to shut up. Teenage girls and guys have a "trashier" look and designer clothes are usually frowned upon, or would result in mockery. Also, the stereotype "douche with style" like William wouldn't exactly be popular in high school.
Check out Blank and Lovleg. Both are norwegian shows that have something of the SKAM-feel to them. I have to admit I don't know whether you can find them with eng/fra subs, but they are quite good.
Thank you for the explanation! I guess I'm wondering if it's perhaps a cultural difference. For example, in America even very young children who are living normal lives but who are on TV or in films are occasionally interviewed. Especially if they're a part of something as hugely popular as Skam. I guess I found the word choice, "shielded" from media, to be interesting. As if the creators and producers are intentionally keeping the actors away from the media for a certain reason (perhaps that reason is so that the actors can lead as normal lives as possible. Perhaps it's to keep the integrity and realism of the show intact. Perhaps it's for a difference reason.). But I completely respect the fact that these actors are able to lead everyday lives! And I applaud them for being a part of such an amazing show. They're so incredibly talented.
Pace Marshall It is a cultural difference. In Scandinavia celebrities are just regular people. And they're rarely ever approached on the street for example. They live normal lives. Not anything like Hollywood. :)
Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to help educate me about the cultural differences between the two countries! I've been enjoying meeting new people through Skam who have been able to teach me about Norwegian culture so that I can better understand the show.
Well main thing is also that Amerian tv shows who act teenagers in real life are like in there deep 20 but here they actually are 16-20 so they go to school and have normal lives.
I agree. She looks so good with little eye makeup, like no mascara. The scene at the party before she kisses William the first time is an example of that; almost white around the eyes. Very pretty and angelic.
Jajaja she is so funny. I watched yesterday Skam in spanish version in one day and the worst part is that Im in exams...jeje but tomorrow I finish them and I will watch the norwegian version. ❤
Well I read that Josefine is 170cm tall and she's wearing heels so I think he's taller than that. Also the actor that plays Even is 193cm and the two of them and I don't think there is that much of a height difference btw them???
Josefine tells them that she was partying, and (drunk?) people had told the guards that her real name was Noora and she was 16. So They thought she used fake leg. She was brought to the police, and they asked her about every places that she has lived, where she has gone to school etc. They told her to get her legal guardians, but there\s no legal guardians when someones over 18 xD They didn't believe her when she said she was famous c'x
She was not brought to the police, but talked to them by the use of a phone. She didn't say she was famous, but said that she's playing in a tv series in order to explain she's not really Noora. Legal guardians never come up, at least not in this video. You should be more careful when writing about things you have no clues.
3:00 shout out to the camera man switching so we could see that guy cough.

Hej I know, that's why I like SKAM but this interview is serious af and they're not that serious in the series
Skavlan show is a window into their minds and personality and the host asks some serious and critical questions so it can seem a little serious, we also have comedy chat shows like tonight with Ylvis ( the guys who made the song The Fox)
MAN I LOVE HER SO MUCH
Her voice is soft I love her

Noora reminds me of Naomi from Skins
Olive T. that's kind of the point
She looks like a more beautiful and classy version of Mary Kate Olsen.

I LOVE that woman's pink outfit! Had to pause and rewind to get a better look!
Josefine so simple nice dressing sense her voice is soo amazing
How come the Skam actors have been "shielded" from the media? Why weren't they allowed to give interviews prior to this?
Pace Marshall Because They're normal people. They still go to school and have normal lives.
Thank you for the explanation! I guess I'm wondering if it's perhaps a cultural difference. For example, in America even very young children who are living normal lives but who are on TV or in films are occasionally interviewed. Especially if they're a part of something as hugely popular as Skam.

im in love with her ... what an angel
i love her so much she is so authentic
Her makeup look in skam is more stunning.
I agree. She looks so good with little eye makeup, like no mascara. The scene at the party before she kisses William the first time is an example of that; almost white around the eyes. Very pretty and angelic.

Josefine tells them that she was partying, and (drunk?) people had told the guards that her real name was Noora and she was 16. So They thought she used fake leg.
ok! tack!!
Lisa R Eg skriv nynorsk, men det er ikkje so mykje forskjell.
I LOVE NOORA AND WILLIAM
The way Tarjei looks at her omg
Hay posibilidad de ponerle subtítulo en español 🙏🙏🙏
Hey native speakers: Does Josephine have like a lisp or a different way of talking? Or an accent?
que lindos bebis
Why are the actors never all together and how come there was never an interview with Lisa (Eva) 😕
Yeah Lisa is a great actress. There are some interviews with her if you search for Lisa Teige but maybe they came out after you posted your comment.
English subtitles?
Fan heller att jag behöver det!
I am surprised that so much research had to be done on the youth. Besides smartphones and social media it was the exact same 25 years ago.😀
Omg! This is soo funny! 😃😍😭😭 damn guy gave stress to this angel! 😤😭
Wow!
I have a question.
I could translate this interview into Polish and put on my channel?
I want to find the part where she speaks English, but it isn't in here! Anyone else know where I can find it?
Hey i was wondering how Tarjei is pronounced as I know they say it in this interview but it is a bit too fast for me to understand?
It sounds like Tar-jeg. "Jeg" being the Norwegian "jeg" or like "ligh" in English
someone come thru and give us English subtitles
