Wow Lori made them all look so dumb. While they were all focused on her energy, she actually looked at the product, its quality and future potential
Yep, I agree. Notice how they all shut up after Lori validated the legitimacy of the actual product. Apparently they sold over 12 million dollars of this brush. So they both won nicely. Happy for them.

That's what I loved about this pitch. She stuck to who she was because the sharks would've seen it eventually if they made a deal with her. She got the perfect shark who was fine with that energy and was incredibly successful from it.

At times I really do admire Lori's intelligence and attitude. She's a true visionary with the right amount of risk taker. She can see the potential in a product and a person and has tonnes of experience. At times when she's alone with four male sharks and they get into an argument, she carries herself like a real boss and I respect her for that.
She’s also typically the only one respectful most of the time to people.

And the margins were good ... cost were usd 2-3 and she sold for usd 5-15 depending on the distribution... Lori did make her a millionaire

Sharks telling her to tone it down was uncalled for. She was passionate in her product and believed in what she had.
these pitches last like 30 minutes - 2 hours in reality, we just see the carefully stitches highlights. i could see how it would get annoying after that long

@@JuanRodriguez-tf7fh there’s nothing wrong with her.. she’s not a bad person there’s no reason to be mean to her when she’s just being herself, even if she is a little quirky and intense.
I knew from the beginning, Lori was gonna make an offer. She’s not into super expensive products that she has to question her backing on. She’s into simple products that solve a problem that she thinks the masses will be interested in at a small price. Spending 15$ or less on something is usually just a drop in the bucket for most consumers, so if they see something like this, they will try it. If it works, cool…if not…well, at least they didn’t waste too much money on it. Lori sees products way differently than the other guys and that’s why she’s been the most successful shark on shark tank. And she’s right, she truly makes people millionaires… even if not everyone of her investments makes people like 100s of millions of dollars… She has had a lot of successful products that have made a lot of companies millionaires and that’s amazing. I truly wish I could come up with something to pitch to her.

I wish that this product was available when my siblings and I were kids. My sister was a huge frizz bomb.. She had such a huge tangled birds nest of hair my mom could hardly ever get her to sit still for a brushing.
A good idea would be a scrub brush of some sort…maybe it could have cute face on it or something. Just an idea

What I saw in this deal was that everyone got fixed on the person and not the product. Lori knows the game and saw the product for what it was.

Lori is more of an inventor than businesswoman. So she saw the potential but also quality of the product. And for it's price it's really good.
why shouldn't you be interested in the person? She came to the show to get an offer from a bussiness person. That means a partner, a person who will work together with you, its not just the product

I'd rather have 50% of millions instead of 70% of thousands. I feel like a lot of entrepreneurs fail to grasp that basic math on this show. I'm glad she didn't.
Yes her sales were extremely low so the deal was actually pretty fair and she got a great shark who actually knew what was good about the brush and actually liked the product.

in this case, very much so. Most of the time, its a lot of greed. Sharks often time are looking for weakness of any kind even from a company who has 10mil in sales with everything already built and still ask for 30%.

this woman has an excellent and extremely vibrant personality, the sharks saying she's too much or exhausting are just used to the plainness and over professionalism of the people they talk to. her kids and husband are lucky to have her
It was very mean of the sharks not giving her an offer because of her being upbeat and a little too enthusiastic. She has to sell her product, she's up there on her own with a husband who has just recovered and an idea that can potentially make many parents' lives easier. Very unprofessional on their part. Kudos to Lori.

Lori is my favorite shark. She always has objective views on her business choice's. This episode it really highlights her ability to pick winning products.

What I liked about her is she came in there with a very reasonable valuation. I see a lot of startups asking for way too much. She ended up giving away a bit more but I read the business is going well so good for her.

I see what you mean. Although if you look at it from the other side, you may say that Mark and Barbara's character is such that they wish to be authentic and true to themselves by verbalizing their thoughts instead of keeping their thoughts hidden.

Lori is an inventor, first of all. She saw the value of the product regardless of how ‘exhausting’ that pitch was to the other sharks. You can see the look of regret on the other Sharks’ faces when she called it the best brush in the world and talked about what a perfect product it was. 🤣
The moment I saw the product i knew Lori will take it. She even knew about the brush types. It was hilarious when Lori started explaining advantages of the attached brush, the sharks were looking into the toys again.
I like her convo with her husband in the end. They're both very intense but in a positive way, lol.

I love this show because it demonstrates how awesome people are. I've seen so many pitches on this show and people still find a way to differentiate themselves from others in their pitches. It shows how infinitely creative people are in their products, pitches, and personalities. Cool show.
