this video came out about 5-6 months ago and am actually truly sorry for having the audacity to try and keep my video up bc "it was the first time getting so much likes" which that is insanely stupid i dont know why i tried to say that "it was just an inspiration" which it is clearly a complete copy,, i take full responsiblity for this stupid mistake and im not gonna say it any diffrentley plagraism is awfull and i recently had an oc stolen from me and it rlly sucks im so sorry i did this idk y i tried to play victim i am clearly not and for the last time am truly sorry (as urs does look wayyyy better TwT)

Also Axel if you might happen to be reading this- coming up with your own designs im sure would make you feel much more accomplished and proud of yourself as well! Its never okay to take someone elses designs that they work really hard on. period- Plagerism is a literal crime but since these are painted plastic toys that doesnt matter so much sakjdhasjdh- I know so many likes and views might mean a lot, but you also gotta keep in mind that a lot of those are probably people who thought you were cobalt, and people just coming to check it out and report it and stuff- wouldn't it feel better to get that many views for the first time from your own accomplishments? I really hope you know now what you did wrong and can learn from this.

That's what I fear sometimes is people copying designs I've thought of. It happens a lot and it's quite annoying especially if you took the time and energy into making something and some just steals it like it's nothing.
LMFAOO U USED MY STORY - but yeah i'd also like to add that in another comment from axel that was deleted, they admitted to copying u because they "didn't know how else to make it" so yeah they admitted that they basically just looked at ur custom and replicated it...

Ugh this is so annoying this happened to me when someone took my photos in LPSA and they never even said anything about it they were not gonna give in and say the photos weren't there's. It had to be taken down.

i had an experience a few years ago on instagram. i posted a drawing and this girl traced it, she coloured it differently but i could literally see the original colours underneath. She claimed that it was her original art work and when i asked her to kindly take it down she refused. You really feel so hurt as an artist. it’s a horrible situation to be in.

With all the thought you put into your customs, the long hours, the individual little details that make something truly unique... I have mad respect for your tact because I would have started a riot. I despise tik tok, They do anything for clout and the thing is they get rewarded for being bad. It honestly disgusts me that they didnt care about what they did to you only about how it effected them. It is a privilege that you share your art with us, you truly are an inspiration to me and I aspire to be as talented as you one day. You've inspired me to take leaps in my customs and try new things like actually painting eyelashes lol.

If I had been the person who bought the custom and I saw this video, id probably try and modify it to be different from yours (the og design).

I saw the video on TikTok and the excuses they used was “I got inspired by him actually” it was obviously copied.
That sucks. I understand how frustrating it is and it sadly is bound to happen when you make something a lot of people like. You're definitely allowed to be upset. Them making money off of other people's designs is definitely something that could be a legal issue. I've had people steal my art before and it sucks. Art theft isn't treated as seriously as it should be from people. I see an argument a lot being "it's just art" or "if you didn't want people to use it why did you post it to the public " which is extremely ignorant for those individuals to think.
Hopefully the people who followed them without knowing they are theifs stop supporting them . If they have an etsy account that implies they are an adult, I couldn't have my account until I had IDs and whatnot so they are completely responsible. If it isn't them, and they are using their parents' account, then their parents should be contacted. Either this is an adult who knows what they are doing or they are a minor selling items through their parents' IDs.

And again I don’t want to sound dismissive toward any struggles in which they are facing but by using suicidal thoughts to defend themself from other people just justifying that what they did was wrong is worrying, it’s not a good habit to place blame on what’s going on in your life even if it seems easier or makes that person feel a peace with their actions because truthfully it’ll become a habit it would be like if life was some sort of messed up monopoly game and then you whip out your get out of jail free card just to avoid a felony or crime

Really fast question about lps custom inspiration are people aloud to take inspiration from carnival rides (example- something like a eye like smiler's) I've never seen a lps custom thats attempted something like that just thought to ask aha

ay i had not checked in on your channel until now but-- holy fuck. it's one thing for someone to steal your exact design and profit off of it, but i think the part that makes me the most angry is the way axel talked about the subject in comments and conversations. their language shows that no matter how old they are, they have yet to mature. likes aren't everything. followers and views aren't everything. deprecating yourself heavily while trying to apologize is not what we want to hear. trying to shift the blame or justify your reasons is not what we want to hear, and i'm sure as hell it isn't what cobalt wants to hear. and idolizing the person you have upset while you clearly don't respect him is not the right way to gain sympathy. have some introspection and look at yourself. you did a bad thing. learn from it. move on.

And being copied by someone really hurts my friend always copies me on my art and also my hobbies we were doing an all about be in elementary school and of course she wrote everything that I wrote who where also doing art in elementry school it’s was a reindeer and I put other animals in the back like squirrels and a bunny she already copied my whole design but once I added them she added and artic fox in the back and copied the bunny I did so I told our teacher we had -I don’t remember the teachers name- and she said “it’s not copying it’s just taking inspiration” and ours looked the exact same and I hate her for that
