My only question on these sets is what’s up with the bigger boxes with empty space?
the first dog is very cute, her colours are really nice but i think she'd look a lot better if her extra details were. a bit thicker, like the dolphin's details

The maltese has been my favorite g7 since the toy fair leaks! I honestly couldn't tell you why, but I adore the mold and something about it just stands out to me. Maybe you'd like the metallic variant better but I see why you don't like her! I hated the bunny at first but now she's another one of my favorites
yeah... I ain't a fan of the G7 version of my mascot. She's not it...😬 I like the shades of blue but those markings clash so much, it's far too busy. The light pink on the face, paws and tail looks like skin... that ain't cute! I have to say though I LOVE the dolphin. I CAN'T WAIT to get my paws on her, she's without a doubt my favourite G7 LPS so far! ALSO the Labradoodle is gorgeous, love the more natural colours. 💕✨

Ikr. Definitely my favorite
I think part of the reason the Maltese’s design doesn’t read as well as the others is because the texture of the fur breaks up the thin lines of the shapes. The dolphin and the owl feel more cohesive partially because of the smoother texture of the figures. Plus the colors they choose don’t contrast very much against the blue base, especially in such small amounts. If they wanted to add patterns to that base they’d probably do better if they added them to smoother parts of the design like the face, or add small shapes on single fur tufts. I did not expect myself to have so much to say about this lol.

I love these sets. Also, to have some sort of track and money limit in my collection, I only go for either pets that I like A LOT or Chases. There have been 4 chases so far in this 1st Wave (3 Petfluencers and the Frenchie from the playset), but now with the SDCC dragon I'm a bit screwed cause I want it so bad to keep on having all of the chases on my G7 collection... So far the listings are extremely expensive. You think I'll be able to get a dragon for 50-60 bucks on ebay when they finally release at the con?
@@Ivanovich8811 that’s a very smart idea! And I’m sorry I really don’t know, but I hope so! Since their retail value is $25 I hope resellers will have the decency not to sell them for more than $50. But I wish you the best of luck!!!
@@cobalt.studios Thanks for the response! Yeah, I'm already calculating $30 of shipping on top of $50... I really hope double the retail price is reasonable enough and don't go crazy. I also collect Hot Wheels and I really like getting chases or rare stuff so that's cool to have a track. Great video Cobalt, these sets are my favourite from all G7 so far (I'm from Spain so I got the metallic variant without glitter)
