Kenmore Elite QuietPak 9 HE5T Pump repair WRONG PART!!

I ordered the part from Amazon and it wasn't the right fit for my washer. I disassembled it and used part of it to fix our washer anyway.

Thanks for the video. Very helpful in determining that the impellor is our problem too. One thing, the most important part of the video and it went by to fast: How did you get the door open?!? I tried holding the button, holding in the pressure switches that the cover panel depresses and it won't open. Could you elaborate on how you did it? TIA

I unplugged it to "reboot" it, plugged it back in, started a cycle, waited until it started, then paused it which unlocked it.

@@SugarChateau Thanks for the answer. We tried that but ours wouldn't open. We thought the electronics were blown. I actually found another video that said there was a little plastic cord/handle up by the latch. Thankfully, that worked for us. It's so weird how a bad pump impellor basically made the electronics malfunction. I'm just glad it worked. BTW, we had the same foot mounting configuration as yours and could not find it so we bought the motor only. I guess if the mounting cracks, it will be time for a new washer. lol.
